1And Miryam and Aharon spoke against Moshe because of the Kushite woman whom he had married; for he had married a Kushite woman. 2And they said, “Has יהוה indeed spoken only with Moshe? Has He not spoken also with us?” And יהוה heard it.
3Now the man Moshe was very humble, above all the men that were upon the face of the earth.
4And יהוה spoke suddenly unto Moshe, and unto Aharon, and unto Miryam, “Come out you three unto the Ohel Mo’ed.” And they three came out. 5And יהוה came down in a pillar of cloud, and stood at the door of the Ohel, and called Aharon and Miryam; and they both came forth. 6And He said, “Hear now My words: if there is a navi among you, I יהוה do make Myself known unto him in a vision, I do speak with him in a dream. 7My servant Moshe is not so; he is trusted in all My house; 8with him do I speak face to face, by appearing, and not in dark speeches; and the image of יהוה does he behold; why, then, were you not afraid to speak against My servant, against Moshe?” 9And the anger of יהוה was kindled against them; and He departed. 10And when the cloud was removed from over the Ohel, behold, Miryam was leprous, as white as snow; and Aharon looked upon Miryam; and, behold, she was leprous. 11And Aharon said unto Moshe, “Oh my master, lay not, I pray, sin upon us, for that we have done foolishly, and for that we have sinned. 12Let her not, I pray, be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother’s womb.” 13And Moshe cried unto יהוה , saying, “Heal her now, O El, I beseech you.”
14And יהוה said unto Moshe, “If her father had but spit in her face, should she not hide in shame seven days? Let her be shut up without the camp seven days, and after that she shall be brought in again.” 15And Miryam was shut up without the camp seven days; and the people journeyed not till Miryam was brought in again. 16And afterward the people journeyed from Khatzerot, and pitched in the wilderness of Paran.
אוַתְּדַבֵּר מִרְיָם וְאַהֲרֹן בְּמֹשֶׁה עַל אֹדוֹת הָאִשָּׁה הַכֻּשִׁית אֲשֶׁר לָקָח כִּי אִשָּׁה כֻשִׁית לָקָח. בוַיֹּאמְרוּ הֲרַק אַךְ בְּמֹשֶׁה דִּבֶּר יהוה הֲלֹא גַּם בָּנוּ דִבֵּר וַיִּשְׁמַע יהוה .
גוְהָאִישׁ מֹשֶׁה עָנָו מְאֹד מִכֹּל הָאָדָם אֲשֶׁר עַל פְּנֵי הָאֲדָמָה.
דוַיֹּאמֶר יהוה פִּתְאֹם אֶל מֹשֶׁה וְאֶל אַהֲרֹן וְאֶל מִרְיָם צְאוּ שְׁלָשְׁתְּכֶם אֶל אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וַיֵּצְאוּ שְׁלָשְׁתָּם. הוַיֵּרֶד יהוה בְּעַמּוּד עָנָן וַיַּעֲמֹד פֶּתַח הָאֹהֶל וַיִּקְרָא אַהֲרֹן וּמִרְיָם וַיֵּצְאוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם. ווַיֹּאמֶר שִׁמְעוּ נָא דְבָרָי אִם יִהְיֶה נְבִיאֲכֶם יהוה בַּמַּרְאָה אֵלָיו אֶתְוַדָּע בַּחֲלוֹם אֲדַבֶּר בּוֹ. זלֹא כֵן עַבְדִּי מֹשֶׁה בְּכָל בֵּיתִי נֶאֱמָן הוּא. חפֶּה אֶל פֶּה אֲדַבֶּר בּוֹ וּמַרְאֶה וְלֹא בְחִידֹת וּתְמֻנַת יהוה יַבִּיט וּמַדּוּעַ לֹא יְרֵאתֶם לְדַבֵּר בְּעַבְדִּי בְמֹשֶׁה. טוַיִּחַר אַף יהוה בָּם וַיֵּלַךְ. יוְהֶעָנָן סָר מֵעַל הָאֹהֶל וְהִנֵּה מִרְיָם מְצֹרַעַת כַּשָּׁלֶג וַיִּפֶן אַהֲרֹן אֶל מִרְיָם וְהִנֵּה מְצֹרָעַת. יאוַיֹּאמֶר אַהֲרֹן אֶל מֹשֶׁה בִּי אֲדֹנִי אַל נָא תָשֵׁת עָלֵינוּ חַטָּאת אֲשֶׁר נוֹאַלְנוּ וַאֲשֶׁר חָטָאנוּ. יבאַל נָא תְהִי כַּמֵּת אֲשֶׁר בְּצֵאתוֹ מֵרֶחֶם אִמּוֹ וַיֵּאָכֵל חֲצִי בְשָׂרוֹ. יגוַיִּצְעַק מֹשֶׁה אֶל יהוה לֵאמֹר אֵל נָא רְפָא נָא לָהּ.
ידוַיֹּאמֶר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה וְאָבִיהָ יָרֹק יָרַק בְּפָנֶיהָ הֲלֹא תִכָּלֵם שִׁבְעַת יָמִים תִּסָּגֵר שִׁבְעַת יָמִים מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה וְאַחַר תֵּאָסֵף. טווַתִּסָּגֵר מִרְיָם מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה שִׁבְעַת יָמִים וְהָעָם לֹא נָסַע עַד הֵאָסֵף מִרְיָם. טזוְאַחַר נָסְעוּ הָעָם מֵחֲצֵרוֹת וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּמִדְבַּר פָּארָן.
