Parashat Masei
1These are the stages of B’nei Yisra’el, by which they went forth out of the land of Mitzrayim by their hosts under the hand of Moshe and Aharon. 2And Moshe wrote their goings forth, stage by stage, by the direction of יהוה ; and these are their stages at their goings forth.
3And they journeyed from Ra’amses in the first khodesh, on the fifteenth day of the first khodesh; on the morrow after the Pesakh, B’nei Yisra’el went out with a high hand in the sight of all Mitzrayim, 4while Mitzrayim were burying them that יהוה had smitten among them, even all their first-born; upon their gods also יהוה executed judgments. 5And B’nei Yisra’el journeyed from Ra’amses, and pitched in Sukkot. 6And they journeyed from Sukkot, and pitched in Etam, which is in the edge of the wilderness. 7And they journeyed from Etam, and turned back unto Pi HaKhirot, which is before Ba’al Tzefon; and they pitched before Migdol. 8And they journeyed from P’nei HaKhirot, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness; and they went three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etam, and pitched in Marah. 9And they journeyed from Marah, and came unto Elim; and in Elim were twelve springs of water, and seventy palm trees; and they pitched there. 10And they journeyed from Elim, and pitched by Yam Suf. 11And they journeyed from Yam Suf, and pitched in the wilderness of Sin. 12And they journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, and pitched in Dofkah. 13And they journeyed from Dofkah, and pitched in Alush. 14And they journeyed from Alush, and pitched in Refidim, where was no water for the people to drink. 15And they journeyed from Refidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai. 16And they journeyed from the wilderness of Sinai, and pitched in Kivrot HaTa’avah. 17And they journeyed from Kivrot HaTa’avah, and pitched in Khatzerot. 18And they journeyed from Khatzerot, and pitched in Ritmah. 19And they journeyed from Ritmah, and pitched in Rimon Paretz. 20And they journeyed from Rimon Paretz, and pitched in Livnah. 21And they journeyed from Livnah, and pitched in Risah. 22And they journeyed from Risah, and pitched in Kehelatah. 23And they journeyed from Kehelatah, and pitched in mount Shafer. 24And they journeyed from mount Shafer, and pitched in Kharadah. 25And they journeyed from Kharadah, and pitched in Makhelot. 26And they journeyed from Makhelot, and pitched in Takhat. 27And they journeyed from Takhat, and pitched in Terah. 28And they journeyed from Terah, and pitched in Mitkah. 29And they journeyed from Mitkah, and pitched in Hashmonah. 30And they journeyed from Hashmonah, and pitched in Moserot. 31And they journeyed from Moserot, and pitched in B’nei Ya’akan. 32And they journeyed from B’nei Ya’akan, and pitched in Khor HaGidgad. 33And they journeyed from HaGidgad, and pitched in Yatvatah. 34And they journeyed from Yatvatah, and pitched in Avronah. 35And they journeyed from Avronah, and pitched in Etzion Gever. 36And they journeyed from Etzion Gever, and pitched in the wilderness of Tzin, the same is Kadesh. 37And they journeyed from Kadesh, and pitched in Hor HaHar, in the edge of the land of Edom. 38And Aharon the kohen went up into Hor HaHar by the direction of יהוה , and died there, in the fortieth year after B’nei Yisra’el were come out of the land of Mitzrayim, in the fifth khodesh, on the first day of the khodesh. 39And Aharon was a hundred and twenty-three years old when he died in Hor HaHar. 40And the Kena’ani, the king of Arad, who dwelt in the South in the land of Kena’an, heard of the coming of B’nei Yisra’el. 41And they journeyed from Hor HaHar, and pitched in Tzalmonah. 42And they journeyed from Tzalmonah, and pitched in Punon. 43And they journeyed from Punon, and pitched in Ovot. 44And they journeyed from Ovot, and pitched in Iye Avarim, in the border of Mo’av. 45And they journeyed from Iyim, and pitched in Divon Gad. 46And they journeyed from Divon Gad, and pitched in Almon-divlatayim. 47And they journeyed from Almon-divlatayim, and pitched in the mountains of Avarim, in front of Nevo. 48And they journeyed from the mountains of Avarim, and pitched in the plains of Mo’av by the Yarden at Yerekho. 49And they pitched by the Yarden, from Beit Haishimot even unto Avel-shittim in the plains of Mo’av.
50And יהוה spoke unto Moshe in the plains of Mo’av by the Yarden at Yerekho, saying, 51“Speak unto B’nei Yisra’el, and say unto them, ‘When you pass over the Yarden into the land of Kena’an, 52then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their figured stones, and destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places. 53And you shall drive out the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein; for unto you have I given the land to possess it. 54And you shall inherit the land by lot according to your families, to the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance; whereever the lot falls to any man, that shall be his; according to the tribes of your fathers shall you inherit. 55But if you will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then shall those that you let remain of them be as motes in your eyes, and as thorns in your sides, and they shall harass you in the land wherein you dwell. 56And it shall come to pass, that as I thought to do unto them, so will I do unto you’.”
פרשת מַסְעֵי
אאֵלֶּה מַסְעֵי בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר יָצְאוּ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם לְצִבְאֹתָם בְּיַד מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן. בוַיִּכְתֹּב מֹשֶׁה אֶת מוֹצָאֵיהֶם לְמַסְעֵיהֶם עַל פִּי יהוה וְאֵלֶּה מַסְעֵיהֶם לְמוֹצָאֵיהֶם.
גוַיִּסְעוּ מֵרַעְמְסֵס בַּחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן בַּחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂר יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן מִמָּחֳרַת הַפֶּסַח יָצְאוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּיָד רָמָה לְעֵינֵי כָּל מִצְרָיִם. דוּמִצְרַיִם מְקַבְּרִים אֵת אֲשֶׁר הִכָּה יהוה בָּהֶם כָּל בְּכוֹר וּבֵאלֹהֵיהֶם עָשָׂה יהוה שְׁפָטִים. הוַיִּסְעוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵרַעְמְסֵס וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּסֻכֹּת. ווַיִּסְעוּ מִסֻּכֹּת וַיַּחֲנוּ בְאֵתָם אֲשֶׁר בִּקְצֵה הַמִּדְבָּר. זוַיִּסְעוּ מֵאֵתָם וַיָּשָׁב עַל פִּי הַחִירֹת אֲשֶׁר עַל פְּנֵי בַּעַל צְפוֹן וַיַּחֲנוּ לִפְנֵי מִגְדֹּל. חוַיִּסְעוּ מִפְּנֵי הַחִירֹת וַיַּעַבְרוּ בְתוֹךְ הַיָּם הַמִּדְבָּרָה וַיֵּלְכוּ דֶּרֶךְ שְׁלֹשֶׁת יָמִים בְּמִדְבַּר אֵתָם וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּמָרָה. טוַיִּסְעוּ מִמָּרָה וַיָּבֹאוּ אֵילִמָה וּבְאֵילִם שְׁתֵּים עֶשְׂרֵה עֵינֹת מַיִם וְשִׁבְעִים תְּמָרִים וַיַּחֲנוּ שָׁם. יוַיִּסְעוּ מֵאֵילִם וַיַּחֲנוּ עַל יַם סוּף. יאוַיִּסְעוּ מִיַּם סוּף וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּמִדְבַּר סִין. יבוַיִּסְעוּ מִמִּדְבַּר סִין וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּדָפְקָה. יגוַיִּסְעוּ מִדָּפְקָה וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּאָלוּשׁ. ידוַיִּסְעוּ מֵאָלוּשׁ וַיַּחֲנוּ בִּרְפִידִם וְלֹא הָיָה שָׁם מַיִם לָעָם לִשְׁתּוֹת. טווַיִּסְעוּ מֵרְפִידִם וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּמִדְבַּר סִינָי. טזוַיִּסְעוּ מִמִּדְבַּר סִינָי וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּקִבְרֹת הַתַּאֲוָה. יזוַיִּסְעוּ מִקִּבְרֹת הַתַּאֲוָה וַיַּחֲנוּ בַּחֲצֵרֹת. יחוַיִּסְעוּ מֵחֲצֵרֹת וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּרִתְמָה. יטוַיִּסְעוּ מֵרִתְמָה וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּרִמֹּן פָּרֶץ. כוַיִּסְעוּ מֵרִמֹּן פָּרֶץ וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּלִבְנָה. כאוַיִּסְעוּ מִלִּבְנָה וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּרִסָּה. כבוַיִּסְעוּ מֵרִסָּה וַיַּחֲנוּ בִּקְהֵלָתָה. כגוַיִּסְעוּ מִקְּהֵלָתָה וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּהַר שָׁפֶר. כדוַיִּסְעוּ מֵהַר שָׁפֶר וַיַּחֲנוּ בַּחֲרָדָה. כהוַיִּסְעוּ מֵחֲרָדָה וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּמַקְהֵלֹת. כווַיִּסְעוּ מִמַּקְהֵלֹת וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּתָחַת. כזוַיִּסְעוּ מִתָּחַת וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּתָרַח. כחוַיִּסְעוּ מִתָּרַח וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּמִתְקָה. כטוַיִּסְעוּ מִמִּתְקָה וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּחַשְׁמֹנָה. לוַיִּסְעוּ מֵחַשְׁמֹנָה וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּמֹסֵרוֹת. לאוַיִּסְעוּ מִמֹּסֵרוֹת וַיַּחֲנוּ בִּבְנֵי יַעֲקָן. לבוַיִּסְעוּ מִבְּנֵי יַעֲקָן וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּחֹר הַגִּדְגָּד. לגוַיִּסְעוּ מֵחֹר הַגִּדְגָּד וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּיָטְבָתָה. לדוַיִּסְעוּ מִיָּטְבָתָה וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּעַבְרֹנָה. להוַיִּסְעוּ מֵעַבְרֹנָה וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּעֶצְיֹן גָּבֶר. לווַיִּסְעוּ מֵעֶצְיֹן גָּבֶר וַיַּחֲנוּ בְמִדְבַּר צִן הִוא קָדֵשׁ. לזוַיִּסְעוּ מִקָּדֵשׁ וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּהֹר הָהָר בִּקְצֵה אֶרֶץ אֱדוֹם. לחוַיַּעַל אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן אֶל הֹר הָהָר עַל פִּי יהוה וַיָּמָת שָׁם בִּשְׁנַת הָאַרְבָּעִים לְצֵאת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַחֲמִישִׁי בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ. לטוְאַהֲרֹן בֶּן שָׁלֹשׁ וְעֶשְׂרִים וּמְאַת שָׁנָה בְּמֹתוֹ בְּהֹר הָהָר. מוַיִּשְׁמַע הַכְּנַעֲנִי מֶלֶךְ עֲרָד וְהוּא יֹשֵׁב בַּנֶּגֶב בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן בְּבֹא בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל. מאוַיִּסְעוּ מֵהֹר הָהָר וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּצַלְמֹנָה. מבוַיִּסְעוּ מִצַּלְמֹנָה וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּפוּנֹן. מגוַיִּסְעוּ מִפּוּנֹן וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּאֹבֹת. מדוַיִּסְעוּ מֵאֹבֹת וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּעִיֵּי הָעֲבָרִים בִּגְבוּל מוֹאָב. מהוַיִּסְעוּ מֵעִיִּים וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּדִיבֹן גָּד. מווַיִּסְעוּ מִדִּיבֹן גָּד וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּעַלְמֹן דִּבְלָתָיְמָה. מזוַיִּסְעוּ מֵעַלְמֹן דִּבְלָתָיְמָה וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּהָרֵי הָעֲבָרִים לִפְנֵי נְבוֹ. מחוַיִּסְעוּ מֵהָרֵי הָעֲבָרִים וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּעַרְבֹת מוֹאָב עַל יַרְדֵּן יְרֵחוֹ. מטוַיַּחֲנוּ עַל הַיַּרְדֵּן מִבֵּית הַיְשִׁמֹת עַד אָבֵל הַשִּׁטִּים בְּעַרְבֹת מוֹאָב.
נוַיְדַבֵּר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה בְּעַרְבֹת מוֹאָב עַל יַרְדֵּן יְרֵחוֹ לֵאמֹר, נאדַּבֵּר אֶל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם כִּי אַתֶּם עֹבְרִים אֶת הַיַּרְדֵּן אֶל אֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן. נבוְהוֹרַשְׁתֶּם אֶת כָּל יֹשְׁבֵי הָאָרֶץ מִפְּנֵיכֶם וְאִבַּדְתֶּם אֵת כָּל מַשְׂכִּיֹּתָם וְאֵת כָּל צַלְמֵי מַסֵּכֹתָם תְּאַבֵּדוּ וְאֵת כָּל בָּמוֹתָם תַּשְׁמִידוּ. נגוְהוֹרַשְׁתֶּם אֶת הָאָרֶץ וִישַׁבְתֶּם בָּהּ כִּי לָכֶם נָתַתִּי אֶת הָאָרֶץ לָרֶשֶׁת אֹתָהּ. נדוְהִתְנַחַלְתֶּם אֶת הָאָרֶץ בְּגוֹרָל לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתֵיכֶם לָרַב תַּרְבּוּ אֶת נַחֲלָתוֹ וְלַמְעַט תַּמְעִיט אֶת נַחֲלָתוֹ אֶל אֲשֶׁר יֵצֵא לוֹ שָׁמָּה הַגּוֹרָל לוֹ יִהְיֶה לְמַטּוֹת אֲבֹתֵיכֶם תִּתְנֶחָלוּ. נהוְאִם לֹא תוֹרִישׁוּ אֶת יֹשְׁבֵי הָאָרֶץ מִפְּנֵיכֶם וְהָיָה אֲשֶׁר תּוֹתִירוּ מֵהֶם לְשִׂכִּים בְּעֵינֵיכֶם וְלִצְנִינִם בְּצִדֵּיכֶם וְצָרְרוּ אֶתְכֶם עַל הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר אַתֶּם יֹשְׁבִים בָּהּ. נווְהָיָה כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּמִּיתִי לַעֲשׂוֹת לָהֶם אֶעֱשֶׂה לָכֶם.
