1And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying 2“Command B’nei Yisra’el, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that has an issue, and whoever is unclean by the dead; 3both male and female shall you put out, without the camp shall you put them; that they defile not their camp, in the midst whereof I dwell.” 4And B’nei Yisra’el did so, and put them out without the camp; as יהוה spoke unto Moshe, so did B’nei Yisra’el.
5And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 6“Speak unto B’nei Yisra’el, “When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to commit a trespass against יהוה , and that soul is guilty, 7then they shall confess their sin which they have done; and he shall make restitution for his guilt in full, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him in respect of whom he has been guilty. 8But if the man has no kinsman to whom restitution may be made for the guilt, the restitution for guilt which is made shall be for יהוה , even the kohen’s; besides the ram of kippurim, whereby atonement shall be made for him. 9And every terumah of all the consecrated things of B’nei Yisra’el, which they present unto the kohen, shall be his. 10And every man’s hallowed things shall be his: whatever any man gives the kohen, it shall be his’.”
11And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 12“Speak unto B’nei Yisra’el, and say unto them, ‘If any man’s wife goes aside, and acts unfaithfully against him, 13and a man lies with her carnally, and it is hidden from the eyes of her husband, and she is defiled secretly, and there is no witness against her, neither is she caught in the act; 14and the spirit of jealousy comes upon him, and he becomes jealous of his wife, and she is defiled; or if the spirit of jealousy comes upon him, and he is jealous of his wife, and she is not defiled; 15then shall the man bring his wife unto the kohen, and shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an efah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is a Minkhah of jealousy, a Minkhah of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance. 16And the kohen shall bring her near, and set her before יהוה . And17 the kohen shall take mayim k’doshim in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is on the floor of the Mishkan the kohen shall take, and put it into the water. 18And the kohen shall set the woman before יהוה , and let the hair of the woman’s head go loose, and put the Minkhah of memorial in her hands, which is the Minkhah of jealousy; and the kohen shall have in his hand the water of bitterness that causes the curse. 19And the kohen shall cause her to swear, and shall say unto the woman, ‘If no man has lain with you, and if you have not gone aside to uncleanness, being under your husband, may you be free from this water of bitterness that causes the curse; 20but if you have gone aside, being under your husband, and if you are defiled, and some man has lain with you besides your husband,’ 21then the kohen shall cause the woman to swear with the oath of cursing, and the kohen shall say unto the woman, ‘ יהוה make you a curse and an oath among your people, when יהוה does make your thigh to fall away, and your belly to swell; 22and this water that causes the curse shall go into your bowels, and make your belly to swell, and your thigh to fall away’; and the woman shall say, ‘Amein, Amein.’ 23And the kohen shall write these curses in a scroll, and he shall blot them out into the water of bitterness. 24And he shall make the woman drink the water of bitterness that causes the curse; and the water that causes the curse shall enter into her and become bitter. 25And the kohen shall take the Minkhah of jealousy out of the woman’s hand, and shall wave the Minkhah before יהוה , and bring it unto the Mizbe’akh. 26And the kohen shall take a handful of the Minkhah, as the memorial-part thereof, and make it smoke upon the Mizbe’akh, and afterward shall make the woman drink the water. 27And when he has made her drink the water, then it shall come to pass, if she is defiled, and has acted unfaithfully against her husband, that the water that causes the curse shall enter into her and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall fall away; and the woman shall be a curse among her people. 28And if the woman is not defiled, but is clean; then she shall be cleared, and shall conceive seed.’ 29This is the instruction of jealousy, when a wife, being under her husband, goes aside, and is defiled; 30or when the spirit of jealousy comes upon a man, and he becomes jealous over his wife; then shall he set the woman before יהוה , and the kohen shall execute upon her all this instruction. 31And the man shall be clear from iniquity, and that woman shall bear her iniquity’.”
אוַיְדַבֵּר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר. בצַו אֶת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וִישַׁלְּחוּ מִן הַמַּחֲנֶה כָּל צָרוּעַ וְכָל זָב וְכֹל טָמֵא לָנָפֶשׁ. גמִזָּכָר עַד נְקֵבָה תְּשַׁלֵּחוּ אֶל מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה תְּשַׁלְּחוּם וְלֹא יְטַמְּאוּ אֶת מַחֲנֵיהֶם אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי שֹׁכֵן בְּתוֹכָם. דוַיַּעֲשׂוּ כֵן בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיְשַׁלְּחוּ אוֹתָם אֶל מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה כֵּן עָשׂוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל.
הוַיְדַבֵּר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר. ודַּבֵּר אֶל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אִישׁ אוֹ אִשָּׁה כִּי יַעֲשׂוּ מִכָּל חַטֹּאת הָאָדָם לִמְעֹל מַעַל בַּיהוה וְאָשְׁמָה הַנֶּפֶשׁ הַהִוא. זוְהִתְוַדּוּ אֶת חַטָּאתָם אֲשֶׁר עָשׂוּ וְהֵשִׁיב אֶת אֲשָׁמוֹ בְּרֹאשׁוֹ וַחֲמִישִׁתוֹ יֹסֵף עָלָיו וְנָתַן לַאֲשֶׁר אָשַׁם לוֹ. חוְאִם אֵין לָאִישׁ גֹּאֵל לְהָשִׁיב הָאָשָׁם אֵלָיו הָאָשָׁם הַמּוּשָׁב לַיהוה לַכֹּהֵן מִלְּבַד אֵיל הַכִּפֻּרִים אֲשֶׁר יְכַפֶּר בּוֹ עָלָיו. טוְכָל תְּרוּמָה לְכָל קָדְשֵׁי בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר יַקְרִיבוּ לַכֹּהֵן לוֹ יִהְיֶה. יוְאִישׁ אֶת קֳדָשָׁיו לוֹ יִהְיוּ אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִתֵּן לַכֹּהֵן לוֹ יִהְיֶה.
יאוַיְדַבֵּר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר. יבדַּבֵּר אֶל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם אִישׁ אִישׁ כִּי תִשְׂטֶה אִשְׁתּוֹ וּמָעֲלָה בוֹ מָעַל. יגוְשָׁכַב אִישׁ אֹתָהּ שִׁכְבַת זֶרַע וְנֶעְלַם מֵעֵינֵי אִישָׁהּ וְנִסְתְּרָה וְהִיא נִטְמָאָה וְעֵד אֵין בָּהּ וְהִוא לֹא נִתְפָּשָׂה. ידוְעָבַר עָלָיו רוּחַ קִנְאָה וְקִנֵּא אֶת אִשְׁתּוֹ וְהִוא נִטְמָאָה אוֹ עָבַר עָלָיו רוּחַ קִנְאָה וְקִנֵּא אֶת אִשְׁתּוֹ וְהִיא לֹא נִטְמָאָה. טווְהֵבִיא הָאִישׁ אֶת אִשְׁתּוֹ אֶל הַכֹּהֵן וְהֵבִיא אֶת קָרְבָּנָהּ עָלֶיהָ עֲשִׂירִת הָאֵיפָה קֶמַח שְׂעֹרִים לֹא יִצֹק עָלָיו שֶׁמֶן וְלֹא יִתֵּן עָלָיו לְבֹנָה כִּי מִנְחַת קְנָאֹת הוּא מִנְחַת זִכָּרוֹן מַזְכֶּרֶת עָוֹן. טזוְהִקְרִיב אֹתָהּ הַכֹּהֵן וְהֶעֱמִדָהּ לִפְנֵי יהוה . יזוְלָקַח הַכֹּהֵן מַיִם קְדֹשִׁים בִּכְלִי חָרֶשׂ וּמִן הֶעָפָר אֲשֶׁר יִהְיֶה בְּקַרְקַע הַמִּשְׁכָּן יִקַּח הַכֹּהֵן וְנָתַן אֶל הַמָּיִם. יחוְהֶעֱמִיד הַכֹּהֵן אֶת הָאִשָּׁה לִפְנֵי יהוה וּפָרַע אֶת רֹאשׁ הָאִשָּׁה וְנָתַן עַל כַּפֶּיהָ אֵת מִנְחַת הַזִּכָּרוֹן מִנְחַת קְנָאֹת הִוא וּבְיַד הַכֹּהֵן יִהְיוּ מֵי הַמָּרִים הַמְאָרְרִים. יטוְהִשְׁבִּיעַ אֹתָהּ הַכֹּהֵן וְאָמַר אֶל הָאִשָּׁה אִם לֹא שָׁכַב אִישׁ אֹתָךְ וְאִם לֹא שָׂטִית טֻמְאָה תַּחַת אִישֵׁךְ הִנָּקִי מִמֵּי הַמָּרִים הַמְאָרְרִים הָאֵלֶּה. כוְאַתְּ כִּי שָׂטִית תַּחַת אִישֵׁךְ וְכִי נִטְמֵאתוַיִּתֵּן אִישׁ בָּךְ אֶת שְׁכָבְתּוֹ מִבַּלְעֲדֵי אִישֵׁךְ. כאוְהִשְׁבִּיעַ הַכֹּהֵן אֶת הָאִשָּׁה בִּשְׁבֻעַת הָאָלָה וְאָמַר הַכֹּהֵן לָאִשָּׁה יִתֵּן יהוה אוֹתָךְ לְאָלָה וְלִשְׁבֻעָה בְּתוֹךְ עַמֵּךְ בְּתֵת יהוה אֶת יְרֵכֵךְ נֹפֶלֶת וְאֶת בִּטְנֵךְ צָבָה. כבוּבָאוּ הַמַּיִם הַמְאָרְרִים הָאֵלֶּה בְּמֵעַיִךְ לַצְבּוֹתבֶּטֶן וְלַנְפִּל יָרֵךְ וְאָמְרָה הָאִשָּׁה אָמֵן אָמֵן. כגוְכָתַב אֶת הָאָלֹת הָאֵלֶּה הַכֹּהֵן בַּסֵּפֶר וּמָחָה אֶל מֵי הַמָּרִים. כדוְהִשְׁקָה אֶת הָאִשָּׁה אֶת מֵי הַמָּרִים הַמְאָרְרִים וּבָאוּ בָהּ הַמַּיִם הַמְאָרְרִים לְמָרִים. כהוְלָקַח הַכֹּהֵן מִיַּד הָאִשָּׁה אֵת מִנְחַת הַקְּנָאֹת וְהֵנִיף אֶת הַמִּנְחָה לִפְנֵי יהוה וְהִקְרִיב אֹתָהּ אֶל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ. כווְקָמַץ הַכֹּהֵן מִן הַמִּנְחָה אֶת אַזְכָּרָתָהּ וְהִקְטִיר הַמִּזְבֵּחָה וְאַחַר יַשְׁקֶה אֶת הָאִשָּׁה אֶת הַמָּיִם. כזוְהִשְׁקָהּ אֶת הַמַּיִם וְהָיְתָה אִם נִטְמְאָה וַתִּמְעֹל מַעַל בְּאִישָׁהּ וּבָאוּ בָהּ הַמַּיִם הַמְאָרְרִים לְמָרִים וְצָבְתָה בִטְנָהּ וְנָפְלָה יְרֵכָהּ וְהָיְתָה הָאִשָּׁה לְאָלָה בְּקֶרֶב עַמָּהּ. כחוְאִם לֹא נִטְמְאָה הָאִשָּׁה וּטְהֹרָה הִוא וְנִקְּתָה וְנִזְרְעָה זָרַע. כטזֹאת תּוֹרַת הַקְּנָאֹת אֲשֶׁר תִּשְׂטֶה אִשָּׁה תַּחַת אִישָׁהּ וְנִטְמָאָה. לאוֹ אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר תַּעֲבֹר עָלָיו רוּחַ קִנְאָה וְקִנֵּא אֶת אִשְׁתּוֹ וְהֶעֱמִיד אֶת הָאִשָּׁה לִפְנֵי יהוה וְעָשָׂה לָהּ הַכֹּהֵן אֵת כָּל הַתּוֹרָה הַזֹּאת. לאוְנִקָּה הָאִישׁ מֵעָוֹן וְהָאִשָּׁה הַהִוא תִּשָּׂא אֶת עֲוֹנָהּ.
