1“Observe the Khodesh of The Aviv, and keep the Pesakh unto יהוה your Elohim; for in the Khodesh of The Aviv, יהוה your Elohim brought you forth out of Mitzrayim by night. 2And you shall sacrifice the Pesakh offering unto יהוה your Elohim, of the flock and the herd, in the place which יהוה shall choose to cause His Name to dwell there. 3You shall eat no khametz with it; seven days shall you eat Matzot therewith, even the bread of affliction; for in haste did you come forth out of the land of Mitzrayim; that you may remember the day when you came forth out of the land of Mitzrayim all the days of your life. 4And there shall be no khametz seen with you in all your borders seven days; neither shall any of the meat, which you sacrifice the first day at evening, remain all night until the morning. 5You may not sacrifice the Pesakh offering within any of your gates, which יהוה your Elohim gives you; 6but at the place which יהוה your Elohim shall choose to cause His Name to dwell in, there you shall sacrifice the Pesakh offering at dusk, at the going down of the sun, at the season that you came forth out of Mitzrayim. 7And you shall roast and eat it in the place which יהוה your Elohim shall choose; and you shall turn in the morning, and go unto your tents. 8Six days you shall eat Matzot; and on the seventh day shall be a consecrated assembly to יהוה your Elohim; you shall do no work therein.”
9“Seven Shavu’ot shall you number unto you; from the time the sickle is first put to the standing grain shall you begin to number seven weeks. 10And you shall keep Khag Shavu’ot unto יהוה your Elohim after the measure of the freewill-offering of your hand, which you shall give, according as יהוה your Elohim blesses you. 11And you shall rejoice before יהוה your Elohim, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your man-servant, and your maid-servant, and HaLevi that is within your gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are in the midst of you, in the place which יהוה your Elohim shall choose to cause His Name to dwell there. 12And you shall remember that you were a servant in Mitzrayim; and you shall observe and do these Khukot.”
13“You shall keep Khag Sukkot seven days, after that you have gathered in from your threshing-floor and from your winepress. 14And you shall rejoice in your Khag, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your man-servant, and your maid-servant, and HaLevi, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within your gates. 15Seven days shall you keep a Khag unto יהוה your Elohim in the place which יהוה shall choose; because יהוה your Elohim shall bless you in all your increase, and in all the work of your hands, and you shall be altogether joyful. 16Three times in a year shall all your males appear before יהוה your Elohim in the place which He shall choose; on Khag Matzot, and on Khag Shavu’ot, and on Khag Sukkot; and they shall not appear before יהוה empty; 17every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of יהוה your Elohim which He has given you.
Parashat Shoftim
18Shoftim and officers shall you make in all your gates, which יהוה your Elohim gives you, tribe by tribe; and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment. 19You shall not wrest judgment; you shall not respect persons; neither shall you take a gift; for a gift blinds the eyes of the wise, and perverts the words of the tzadik. 20Justice, justice shall you follow, that you may live, and inherit the land which יהוה your Elohim gives you.
21You shall not plant an Asherah of any kind of tree beside the Mizbe’akh of יהוה your Elohim, which you shall make yourself. 22Neither shall you set up a pillar, which יהוה your Elohim hates.
אשָׁמוֹר אֶת חֹדֶשׁ הָאָבִיב וְעָשִׂיתָ פֶּסַח לַיהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ כִּי בְּחֹדֶשׁ הָאָבִיב הוֹצִיאֲךָ יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ מִמִּצְרַיִם לָיְלָה. בוְזָבַחְתָּ פֶּסַח לַיהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ צֹאן וּבָקָר בַּמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר יִבְחַר יהוה לְשַׁכֵּן שְׁמוֹ שָׁם. גלֹא תֹאכַל עָלָיו חָמֵץ שִׁבְעַת יָמִים תֹּאכַל עָלָיו מַצּוֹת לֶחֶם עֹנִי כִּי בְחִפָּזוֹן יָצָאתָ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם לְמַעַן תִּזְכֹּר אֶת יוֹם צֵאתְךָ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם כֹּל יְמֵי חַיֶּיךָ. דוְלֹא יֵרָאֶה לְךָ שְׂאֹר בְּכָל גְּבֻלְךָ שִׁבְעַת יָמִים וְלֹא יָלִין מִן הַבָּשָׂר אֲשֶׁר תִּזְבַּח בָּעֶרֶב בַּיּוֹם הָרִאשׁוֹן לַבֹּקֶר. הלֹא תוּכַל לִזְבֹּחַ אֶת הַפָּסַח בְּאַחַד שְׁעָרֶיךָ אֲשֶׁר יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לָךְ. וכִּי אִם אֶל הַמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר יִבְחַר יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ לְשַׁכֵּן שְׁמוֹ שָׁם תִּזְבַּח אֶת הַפֶּסַח בָּעָרֶב כְּבוֹא הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ מוֹעֵד צֵאתְךָ מִמִּצְרָיִם. זוּבִשַּׁלְתָּ וְאָכַלְתָּ בַּמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר יִבְחַר יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בּוֹ וּפָנִיתָ בַבֹּקֶר וְהָלַכְתָּ לְאֹהָלֶיךָ. חשֵׁשֶׁת יָמִים תֹּאכַל מַצּוֹת וּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי עֲצֶרֶת לַיהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ לֹא תַעֲשֶׂה מְלָאכָה.
טשִׁבְעָה שָׁבֻעֹת תִּסְפָּר לָךְ מֵהָחֵל חֶרְמֵשׁ בַּקָּמָה תָּחֵל לִסְפֹּר שִׁבְעָה שָׁבֻעוֹת. יוְעָשִׂיתָ חַג שָׁבֻעוֹת לַיהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ מִסַּת נִדְבַת יָדְךָ אֲשֶׁר תִּתֵּן כַּאֲשֶׁר יְבָרֶכְךָ יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ. יאוְשָׂמַחְתָּ לִפְנֵי יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ אַתָּה וּבִנְךָ וּבִתֶּךָ וְעַבְדְּךָ וַאֲמָתֶךָ וְהַלֵּוִי אֲשֶׁר בִּשְׁעָרֶיךָ וְהַגֵּר וְהַיָּתוֹם וְהָאַלְמָנָה אֲשֶׁר בְּקִרְבֶּךָ בַּמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר יִבְחַר יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ לְשַׁכֵּן שְׁמוֹ שָׁם. יבוְזָכַרְתָּ כִּי עֶבֶד הָיִיתָ בְּמִצְרָיִם וְשָׁמַרְתָּ וְעָשִׂיתָ אֶת הַחֻקִּים הָאֵלֶּה.
יגחַג הַסֻּכֹּת תַּעֲשֶׂה לְךָ שִׁבְעַת יָמִים בְּאָסְפְּךָ מִגָּרְנְךָ וּמִיִּקְבֶךָ. ידוְשָׂמַחְתָּ בְּחַגֶּךָ אַתָּה וּבִנְךָ וּבִתֶּךָ וְעַבְדְּךָ וַאֲמָתֶךָ וְהַלֵּוִי וְהַגֵּר וְהַיָּתוֹם וְהָאַלְמָנָה אֲשֶׁר בִּשְׁעָרֶיךָ. טושִׁבְעַת יָמִים תָּחֹג לַיהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בַּמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר יִבְחַר יהוה כִּי יְבָרֶכְךָ יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בְּכֹל תְּבוּאָתְךָ וּבְכֹל מַעֲשֵׂה יָדֶיךָ וְהָיִיתָ אַךְ שָׂמֵחַ. טזשָׁלוֹשׁ פְּעָמִים בַּשָּׁנָה יֵרָאֶה כָל זְכוּרְךָ אֶת פְּנֵי יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בַּמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר יִבְחָר בְּחַג הַמַּצּוֹת וּבְחַג הַשָּׁבֻעוֹת וּבְחַג הַסֻּכּוֹת וְלֹא יֵרָאֶה אֶת פְּנֵי יהוה רֵיקָם. יזאִישׁ כְּמַתְּנַת יָדוֹ כְּבִרְכַּת יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ אֲשֶׁר נָתַן לָךְ.
פרשת שֹׁפְטִים
יחשֹׁפְטִים וְשֹׁטְרִים תִּתֶּן לְךָ בְּכָל שְׁעָרֶיךָ אֲשֶׁר יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לְךָ לִשְׁבָטֶיךָ וְשָׁפְטוּ אֶת הָעָם מִשְׁפַּט צֶדֶק. יטלֹא תַטֶּה מִשְׁפָּט לֹא תַכִּיר פָּנִים וְלֹא תִקַּח שֹׁחַד כִּי הַשֹּׁחַד יְעַוֵּר עֵינֵי חֲכָמִים וִיסַלֵּף דִּבְרֵי צַדִּיקִם. כצֶדֶק צֶדֶק תִּרְדֹּף לְמַעַן תִּחְיֶה וְיָרַשְׁתָּ אֶת הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ נֹתֵן לָךְ.
כאלֹא תִטַּע לְךָ אֲשֵׁרָה כָּל עֵץ אֵצֶל מִזְבַּח יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ אֲשֶׁר תַּעֲשֶׂה לָּךְ. כבוְלֹא תָקִים לְךָ מַצֵּבָה אֲשֶׁר שָׂנֵא יהוה אֱלֹהֶיךָ.
