1And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 2“See, I have called by name Betzalel Ben Uri, Ben Khur, of the tribe of Yehudah; 3and I have filled him with the Ru’akh of Elohim, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, 4to devise skillful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, 5and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all manner of workmanship. 6And I, behold, I have appointed with him Oholi’av, Ben Akhisamakh, of the tribe of Dan; and in the hearts of all that are wise-hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded you: 7the Ohel Mo’ed, and the Aron HaEdut, and the Kaporet that is thereupon, and all the furnishings of the Ohel Mo’ed; 8and the Shulkhan and its vessels, and the pure Menorah with all its vessels, and the Mizbe’akh of incense; 9and the Mizbe’akh HaOlah with all its vessels, and the Ki’or and its base; 10and the plaited garments, and the kadosh garments for Aharon the Kohen, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the Kohen’s office; 11and the anointing oil, and the incense of sweet spices for HaKodesh; according to all that I have commanded you shall they do.”
12And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, saying, 13“Speak also unto B’nei Yisra’el, saying, ‘Verily you shall keep My Sabbaths, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am יהוה who sets you apart. 14You shall keep the Shabbat therefore, for it is kadosh unto you; every one that profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. 15Six days shall work be done; but on the seventh day is a Shabbat of solemn rest, Kodesh to יהוה ; whoever does any work in Yom HaShabbat, he shall surely be put to death. 16Therefore B’nei Yisra’el shall keep the Shabbat, to observe the Shabbat throughout their generations, for an eternal Brit. 17It is a sign between Me and B’nei Yisra’el forever; for in six days יהוה made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He ceased from work, and rested’.” 18And He gave unto Moshe, when He had made an end of speaking with him upon Har Sinai, the two Lukhot HaEdut, lukhot of stone, written with the finger of Elohim.
אוַיְדַבֵּר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר. ברְאֵה קָרָאתִי בְשֵׁם בְּצַלְאֵל בֶּן אוּרִי בֶן חוּר לְמַטֵּה יְהוּדָה. גוָאֲמַלֵּא אֹתוֹ רוּחַ אֱלֹהִים בְּחָכְמָה וּבִתְבוּנָה וּבְדַעַת וּבְכָל מְלָאכָה. דלַחְשֹׁב מַחֲשָׁבֹת לַעֲשׂוֹת בַּזָּהָב וּבַכֶּסֶף וּבַנְּחֹשֶׁת. הוּבַחֲרֹשֶׁת אֶבֶן לְמַלֹּאת וּבַחֲרֹשֶׁת עֵץ לַעֲשׂוֹת בְּכָל מְלָאכָה. ווַאֲנִי הִנֵּה נָתַתִּי אִתּוֹ אֵת אָהֳלִיאָב בֶּן אֲחִיסָמָךְ לְמַטֵּה דָן וּבְלֵב כָּל חֲכַם לֵב נָתַתִּי חָכְמָה וְעָשׂוּ אֵת כָּל אֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתִךָ. זאֵת אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְאֶת הָאָרֹן לָעֵדֻת וְאֶת הַכַּפֹּרֶת אֲשֶׁר עָלָיו וְאֵת כָּל כְּלֵי הָאֹהֶל. חוְאֶת הַשֻּׁלְחָן וְאֶת כֵּלָיו וְאֶת הַמְּנֹרָה הַטְּהֹרָה וְאֶת כָּל כֵּלֶיהָ וְאֵת מִזְבַּח הַקְּטֹרֶת. טוְאֶת מִזְבַּח הָעֹלָה וְאֶת כָּל כֵּלָיו וְאֶת הַכִּיּוֹר וְאֶת כַּנּוֹ. יוְאֵת בִּגְדֵי הַשְּׂרָד וְאֶת בִּגְדֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ לְאַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן וְאֶת בִּגְדֵי בָנָיו לְכַהֵן. יאוְאֵת שֶׁמֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה וְאֶת קְטֹרֶת הַסַּמִּים לַקֹּדֶשׁ כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתִךָ יַעֲשׂוּ.
יבוַיֹּאמֶר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר. יגוְאַתָּה דַּבֵּר אֶל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לֵאמֹר אַךְ אֶת שַׁבְּתֹתַי תִּשְׁמֹרוּ כִּי אוֹת הִוא בֵּינִי וּבֵינֵיכֶם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם לָדַעַת כִּי אֲנִי יהוה מְקַדִּשְׁכֶם. ידוּשְׁמַרְתֶּם אֶת הַשַּׁבָּת כִּי קֹדֶשׁ הִוא לָכֶם מְחַלְלֶיהָ מוֹת יוּמָת כִּי כָּל הָעֹשֶׂה בָהּ מְלָאכָה וְנִכְרְתָה הַנֶּפֶשׁ הַהִוא מִקֶּרֶב עַמֶּיהָ. טושֵׁשֶׁת יָמִים יֵעָשֶׂה מְלָאכָה וּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי שַׁבַּת שַׁבָּתוֹן קֹדֶשׁ לַיהוה כָּל הָעֹשֶׂה מְלָאכָה בְּיוֹם הַשַּׁבָּת מוֹת יוּמָת. טזוְשָׁמְרוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת הַשַּׁבָּת לַעֲשׂוֹת אֶת הַשַּׁבָּת לְדֹרֹתָם בְּרִית עוֹלָם. יזבֵּינִי וּבֵין בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אוֹת הִוא לְעֹלָם כִּי שֵׁשֶׁת יָמִים עָשָׂה יהוה אֶת הַשָּׁמַיִם וְאֶת הָאָרֶץ וּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי שָׁבַת וַיִּנָּפַשׁ. יחוַיִּתֵּן אֶל מֹשֶׁה כְּכַלֹּתוֹ לְדַבֵּר אִתּוֹ בְּהַר סִינַי שְׁנֵי לֻחֹת הָעֵדֻת לֻחֹת אֶבֶן כְּתֻבִים בְּאֶצְבַּע אֱלֹהִים.
