Shemot 40 – שמות מ

¹And  יהוה  spoke unto Moshe, saying, ²“On the day of the first Khodesh shall you rear up the Mishkan of the Ohel Mo’ed. ³And you shall put therein the Aron HaEdut, and you shall screen the Aron with the Parokhet. ⁴And you shall bring in the Shulkhan, and set in order the Lekhem that is upon it; and you shall bring in the Menorah, and light the lamps thereof. ⁵And you shall set  the Mizbe’akh HaZahav for incense before the Aron HaEdut, and put the screen of the door to the Mishkan. ⁶And you shall set the Mizbe’akh HaOlah before the door of the Mishkan of the Ohel Mo’ed. ⁷And you shall set the Kiyor between the Ohel Mo’ed and the Mizbe’akh, and shall put water therein. ⁸And you shall set up the court round about, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court. ⁹And you shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the Mishkan, and all that is therein, and shall hallow it, and all the furnishings thereof; and it shall be kodesh. ¹⁰And you shall anoint the Mizbe’akh HaOlah, and all its vessels, and consecrate the Mizbe’akh; and the Mizbe’akh shall be Kodesh Kadashim. ¹¹And you shall anoint the Kiyor and its base, and hallow it. 

¹²And you shall bring Aharon and his sons unto the door of the Ohel Mo’ed, and shall wash them with water. ¹³And you shall put upon Aharon the k’doshim garments; and you shall anoint him, and hallow him, that he may minister unto Me in the Kohen’s office. ¹⁴And you shall bring his sons, and put tunics upon them. ¹⁵And you shall anoint them, as you did anoint their father, that they may minister unto Me in the kohen’s office; and their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting kehunah throughout their generations.” 

¹⁶Thus did Moshe; according to all that  יהוה  commanded him, so did he. 

¹⁷And it came to pass in the first Khodesh in the second year, on the first day of the Khodesh, that the Mishkan was reared up.  ¹⁸And Moshe reared up the Mishkan,  and  laid  its sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up its pillars. ¹⁹And he spread the tent over the Mishkan, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as  יהוה  commanded Moshe. 

²⁰And he took and put HaEdut into the Aron, and set the staves on the Aron, and put the Kaporet above upon the Aron. ²¹And he brought the Aron into the Mishkan, and set up the Parokhet, and screened the Aron HaEdut; as  יהוה  commanded Moshe. ²²And he put the Shulkhan in the Ohel Mo’ed, upon the side of the Mishkan northward, without the Parokhet. ²³And he set a row of Lekhem in order upon it before   יהוה , as  יהוה  commanded Moshe. 

²⁴And he put the Menorah in the Ohel Mo’ed, over against the Shulkhan, on the side of the Mishkan southward. ²⁵And he lighted the lamps before  יהוה , as  יהוה  commanded Moshe. 

²⁶And he put the Mizbe’akh HaZahav in the Ohel Mo’ed before the veil; ²⁷and he burnt thereon incense of sweet spices, as  יהוה  commanded Moshe.  ²⁸And he put the screen of the door to the Mishkan. ²⁹And the Mizbe’akh HaOlah he set at the door of the Mishkan of the Ohel Mo’ed, and offered upon it the Olah and the Min’kha, as  יהוה  commanded Moshe.  ³⁰And he set the Kiyor between the Ohel Mo’ed and the Mizbe’akh, and put water therein, wherewith to wash, ³¹that Moshe and Aharon and his sons might wash their hands and their feet thereat; ³²when they went into the Ohel Mo’ed, and when they came near unto the Mizbe’akh, they should wash, as  יהוה  commanded Moshe. ³³And he reared up the court round about the Mishkan and the Mizbe’akh, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moshe finished the work.

³⁴Then the cloud covered the Ohel Mo’ed, and the Kavod  יהוה  filled the Mishkan. ³⁵And Moshe was not able to enter into the Ohel Mo’ed, because the cloud abode thereon, and the Kavod  יהוה  filled the Mishkan. ³⁶And whenever the cloud was taken up from over the Mishkan, B’nei Yisra’el went onward, throughout all their journeys. ³⁷But if the cloud was not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up. ³⁸For the cloud of  יהוה  was upon the Mishkan by day, and there was fire therein by night, in the sight of all Beit Yisra’el, throughout all their journeys.

Khazak! Khazak! V’nit’khazek!

^אוַיְדַבֵּר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר. ^בבְּיוֹם הַחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ תָּקִים אֶת מִשְׁכַּן אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד. ^גוְשַׂמְתָּ שָׁם אֵת אֲרוֹן הָעֵדוּת וְסַכֹּתָ עַל הָאָרֹן אֶת הַפָּרֹכֶת. ^דוְהֵבֵאתָ אֶת הַשֻּׁלְחָן וְעָרַכְתָּ אֶת עֶרְכּוֹ וְהֵבֵאתָ אֶת הַמְּנֹרָה וְהַעֲלֵיתָ אֶת נֵרֹתֶיהָ. ^הוְנָתַתָּה אֶת מִזְבַּח הַזָּהָב לִקְטֹרֶת לִפְנֵי אֲרוֹן הָעֵדֻת וְשַׂמְתָּ אֶת מָסַךְ הַפֶּתַח לַמִּשְׁכָּן. ^ווְנָתַתָּה אֵת מִזְבַּח הָעֹלָה לִפְנֵי פֶּתַח מִשְׁכַּן אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד. ^זוְנָתַתָּ אֶת הַכִּיֹּר בֵּין אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וּבֵין הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְנָתַתָּ שָׁם מָיִם. ^חוְשַׂמְתָּ אֶת הֶחָצֵר סָבִיב וְנָתַתָּ אֶת מָסַךְ שַׁעַר הֶחָצֵר. ^טוְלָקַחְתָּ אֶת שֶׁמֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה וּמָשַׁחְתָּ אֶת הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְאֶת כָּל אֲשֶׁר בּוֹ וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ אֹתוֹ וְאֶת כָּל כֵּלָיו וְהָיָה קֹדֶשׁ. ^יוּמָשַׁחְתָּ אֶת מִזְבַּח הָעֹלָה וְאֶת כָּל כֵּלָיו וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ אֶת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְהָיָה הַמִּזְבֵּחַ קֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁים. ^יאוּמָשַׁחְתָּ אֶת הַכִּיֹּר וְאֶת כַּנּוֹ וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ אֹתוֹ.

^יבוְהִקְרַבְתָּ אֶת אַהֲרֹן וְאֶת בָּנָיו אֶל פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְרָחַצְתָּ אֹתָם בַּמָּיִם. ^יגוְהִלְבַּשְׁתָּ אֶת אַהֲרֹן אֵת בִּגְדֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ וּמָשַׁחְתָּ אֹתוֹ וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ אֹתוֹ וְכִהֵן לִי. ^ידוְאֶת בָּנָיו תַּקְרִיב וְהִלְבַּשְׁתָּ אֹתָם כֻּתֳּנֹת. ^טווּמָשַׁחְתָּ אֹתָם כַּאֲשֶׁר מָשַׁחְתָּ אֶת אֲבִיהֶם וְכִהֲנוּ לִי וְהָיְתָה לִהְיֹת לָהֶם מָשְׁחָתָם לִכְהֻנַּת עוֹלָם לְדֹרֹתָם.

^טזוַיַּעַשׂ מֹשֶׁה כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֹתוֹ כֵּן עָשָׂה.

^יזוַיְהִי  בַּחֹדֶשׁ  הָרִאשׁוֹן בַּשָּׁנָה הַשֵּׁנִית  בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ הוּקַם הַמִּשְׁכָּן. ^יחוַיָּקֶם  מֹשֶׁהאֶת הַמִּשְׁכָּן וַיִּתֵּן אֶת אֲדָנָיו וַיָּשֶׂם אֶת קְרָשָׁיו וַיִּתֵּן אֶת בְּרִיחָיו וַיָּקֶם אֶת עַמּוּדָיו. ^יטוַיִּפְרֹשׂ אֶת הָאֹהֶל עַל הַמִּשְׁכָּן וַיָּשֶׂם אֶת מִכְסֵה הָאֹהֶל עָלָיו מִלְמָעְלָה כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה.

^כוַיִּקַּח וַיִּתֵּן אֶת הָעֵדֻת אֶל הָאָרֹן וַיָּשֶׂם אֶת הַבַּדִּים עַל הָאָרֹן וַיִּתֵּן  אֶת  הַכַּפֹּרֶת עַל  

הָאָרֹן מִלְמָעְלָה. ^כאוַיָּבֵא אֶת הָאָרֹן אֶל הַמִּשְׁכָּן וַיָּשֶׂם אֵת פָּרֹכֶת הַמָּסָךְ וַיָּסֶךְ עַל אֲרוֹן הָעֵדוּת כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה.^כבוַיִּתֵּן אֶת הַשֻּׁלְחָן בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד עַל יֶרֶךְ הַמִּשְׁכָּןצָפֹנָה מִחוּץ לַפָּרֹכֶת. ^כגוַיַּעֲרֹךְ עָלָיו עֵרֶךְ לֶחֶם לִפְנֵי יהוה כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה.

^כדוַיָּשֶׂם אֶת הַמְּנֹרָה בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד נֹכַח הַשֻּׁלְחָן עַל יֶרֶךְ הַמִּשְׁכָּן נֶגְבָּה. ^כהוַיַּעַל הַנֵּרֹת לִפְנֵי יהוה כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה.

^כווַיָּשֶׂם אֶת מִזְבַּח הַזָּהָב בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד לִפְנֵי הַפָּרֹכֶת. ^כזוַיַּקְטֵר עָלָיו קְטֹרֶת סַמִּים כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה.^כחוַיָּשֶׂם אֶת מָסַךְ הַפֶּתַח לַמִּשְׁכָּן. ^כטוְאֵת מִזְבַּח הָעֹלָה שָׂם פֶּתַח מִשְׁכַּן אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וַיַּעַל עָלָיו אֶת הָעֹלָה וְאֶת הַמִּנְחָה כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה. ^לוַיָּשֶׂם אֶת הַכִּיֹּר בֵּין אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וּבֵין הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וַיִּתֵּן שָׁמָּה מַיִם לְרָחְצָה. ^לאוְרָחֲצוּ מִמֶּנּוּ מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן וּבָנָיו אֶת יְדֵיהֶם וְאֶת רַגְלֵיהֶם. ^לבבְּבֹאָם אֶל אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וּבְקָרְבָתָם אֶל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ יִרְחָצוּ כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֶת מֹשֶׁה. ^לגוַיָּקֶם אֶת הֶחָצֵר סָבִיב לַמִּשְׁכָּן וְלַמִּזְבֵּחַ וַיִּתֵּן אֶת מָסַךְ שַׁעַר הֶחָצֵר וַיְכַל מֹשֶׁה אֶת הַמְּלָאכָה.

^לדוַיְכַס הֶעָנָן אֶת אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וּכְבוֹד יהוה מָלֵא אֶת הַמִּשְׁכָּן. ^להוְלֹא יָכֹל מֹשֶׁה לָבוֹא אֶל אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד כִּי שָׁכַן עָלָיו הֶעָנָן וּכְבוֹד יהוה מָלֵא אֶת הַמִּשְׁכָּן. ^לווּבְהֵעָלוֹת הֶעָנָן מֵעַל הַמִּשְׁכָּן יִסְעוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּכֹל מַסְעֵיהֶם. ^לזוְאִם לֹא יֵעָלֶה הֶעָנָן וְלֹא יִסְעוּ עַד יוֹם הֵעָלֹתוֹ. ^לחכִּי עֲנַן יהוה עַל הַמִּשְׁכָּן יוֹמָם וְאֵשׁ תִּהְיֶה לַיְלָה בּוֹ לְעֵינֵי כָל בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּכָל מַסְעֵיהֶם.

חֲזַק! חֲזַק! וְנִתְחָזֶק!
