1And יהוה said unto Moshe, “See, I have set you in Elohim’s stead to Paroh; and Aharon your brother shall be your Navi. 2You shall speak all that I command you; and Aharon your brother shall speak unto Paroh, that he let B’nei Yisra’el go out of his land. 3And I will harden Paroh’s heart, and multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Mitzrayim. 4But Paroh will not hearken unto you, and I will lay My hand upon Mitzrayim, and bring forth My hosts, My people B’nei Yisra’el, out of the land of Mitzrayim, by great judgments. 5And Mitzrayim shall know that I am יהוה , when I stretch forth My hand upon Mitzrayim, and bring out B’nei Yisra’el from among them.” 6And Moshe and Aharon did so; as יהוה commanded them, so did they. 7And Moshe was eighty years old, and Aharon eighty-three years old, when they spoke unto Paroh.
8And יהוה spoke unto Moshe and unto Aharon, saying, 9“When Paroh shall speak unto you, saying, ‘Show a wonder for you,’ then you shall say unto Aharon, ‘Take your rod, and cast it down before Paroh, that it become a serpent’.” 10And Moshe and Aharon went in unto Paroh, and they did so, as יהוה had commanded; and Aharon cast down his rod before Paroh and before his servants, and it became a serpent. 11Then Paroh also called for the wise men and the sorcerers; and they also, the magicians of Mitzrayim, did in like manner with their secret arts. 12For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents; but Aharon’s rod swallowed up their rods. 13And Paroh’s heart was strengthened, and he hearkened not unto them, as יהוה had spoken.
14And יהוה said unto Moshe, “Paroh’s heart is stubborn, he refuses to let the people go. 15Go unto Paroh in the morning; lo, he goes out unto the water; and you shall stand by the river’s brink to meet him; and the rod which was turned to a serpent shall you take in your hand. 16And you shall say unto him, ‘ יהוה , the Elohim of the Ivrim, has sent me unto you, saying, ‘Let My people go, that they may serve Me in the wilderness;’ and, behold, hitherto you have not hearkened; 17thus says יהוה , ‘In this you shall know that I am יהוה : behold, I will smite with the rod that is in my hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood. 18And the fish that are in the river shall die, and the river shall become foul; and Mitzrayim shall loathe to drink water from the river.'”
19And יהוה said unto Moshe, “Say unto Aharon, ‘Take your rod, and stretch out your hand over the waters of Mitzrayim, over their rivers, over their streams, and over their pools, and over all their ponds of water, that they may become blood;’ and there shall be blood throughout all the land of Mitzrayim, both in vessels of wood and in vessels of stone.” 20And Moshe and Aharon did so, as יהוה commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Paroh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood. 21And the fish that were in the river died; and the river became foul, and Mitzrayim could not drink water from the river; and the blood was throughout all the land of Mitzrayim. 22And the magicians of Mitzrayim did in like manner with their secret arts; and Paroh’s heart was strengthened, and he hearkened not unto them, as יהוה had spoken. 23And Paroh turned and went into his house, neither did he lay even this to heart. 24And all Mitzrayim digged round about the river for water to drink; for they could not drink of the water of the river. 25And seven days were fulfilled, after that יהוה had smitten the river.
26And יהוה spoke unto Moshe, “Go in unto Paroh, and say unto him, ‘Thus says יהוה , ‘Let My people go, that they may serve Me. 27And if you refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all your borders with frogs. 28And the river shall swarm with frogs, which shall go up and come into your house, and into your bed-chamber, and upon your bed, and into the house of your servants, and upon your people, and into your ovens, and into your kneading-troughs. 29And the frogs shall come up both upon you, and upon your people, and upon all your servants.””
אוַיֹּאמֶר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה רְאֵה נְתַתִּיךָ אֱלֹהִים לְפַרְעֹה וְאַהֲרֹן אָחִיךָ יִהְיֶה נְבִיאֶךָ. באַתָּה תְדַבֵּר אֵת כָּל אֲשֶׁר אֲצַוֶּךָּ וְאַהֲרֹן אָחִיךָ יְדַבֵּר אֶל פַּרְעֹה וְשִׁלַּח אֶת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאַרְצוֹ. גוַאֲנִי אַקְשֶׁה אֶת לֵב פַּרְעֹה וְהִרְבֵּיתִי אֶת אֹתֹתַי וְאֶת מוֹפְתַי בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם. דוְלֹא יִשְׁמַע אֲלֵכֶם פַּרְעֹה וְנָתַתִּי אֶת יָדִי בְּמִצְרָיִם וְהוֹצֵאתִי אֶת צִבְאֹתַי אֶת עַמִּי בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם בִּשְׁפָטִים גְּדֹלִים. הוְיָדְעוּ מִצְרַיִם כִּי אֲנִי יהוה בִּנְטֹתִי אֶת יָדִי עַל מִצְרָיִם וְהוֹצֵאתִי אֶת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מִתּוֹכָם. ווַיַּעַשׂ מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה אֹתָם כֵּן עָשׂוּ. זוּמֹשֶׁה בֶּן שְׁמֹנִים שָׁנָה וְאַהֲרֹן בֶּן שָׁלֹשׁ וּשְׁמֹנִים שָׁנָה בְּדַבְּרָם אֶל פַּרְעֹה.
חוַיֹּאמֶר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה וְאֶל אַהֲרֹן לֵאמֹר, טכִּי יְדַבֵּר אֲלֵכֶם פַּרְעֹה לֵאמֹר תְּנוּ לָכֶם מוֹפֵת וְאָמַרְתָּ אֶל אַהֲרֹן קַח אֶת מַטְּךָ וְהַשְׁלֵךְ לִפְנֵי פַרְעֹה יְהִי לְתַנִּין. יוַיָּבֹא מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן אֶל פַּרְעֹה וַיַּעֲשׂוּ כֵן כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה וַיַּשְׁלֵךְ אַהֲרֹן אֶת מַטֵּהוּ לִפְנֵי פַרְעֹה וְלִפְנֵי עֲבָדָיו וַיְהִי לְתַנִּין. יאוַיִּקְרָא גַּם פַּרְעֹה לַחֲכָמִים וְלַמְכַשְּׁפִים וַיַּעֲשׂוּ גַם הֵם חַרְטֻמֵּי מִצְרַיִם בְּלַהֲטֵיהֶם כֵּן. יבוַיַּשְׁלִיכוּ אִישׁ מַטֵּהוּ וַיִּהְיוּ לְתַנִּינִם וַיִּבְלַע מַטֵּה אַהֲרֹן אֶת מַטֹּתָם. יגוַיֶּחֱזַק לֵב פַּרְעֹה וְלֹא שָׁמַע אֲלֵהֶם כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יהוה .
ידוַיֹּאמֶר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה כָּבֵד לֵב פַּרְעֹה מֵאֵן לְשַׁלַּח הָעָם. טולֵךְ אֶל פַּרְעֹה בַּבֹּקֶר הִנֵּה יֹצֵא הַמַּיְמָה וְנִצַּבְתָּ לִקְרָאתוֹ עַל שְׂפַת הַיְאֹר וְהַמַּטֶּה אֲשֶׁר נֶהְפַּךְ לְנָחָשׁ תִּקַּח בְּיָדֶךָ. טזוְאָמַרְתָּ אֵלָיו יהוה אֱלֹהֵי הָעִבְרִים שְׁלָחַנִי אֵלֶיךָ לֵאמֹר שַׁלַּח אֶת עַמִּי וְיַעַבְדֻנִי בַּמִּדְבָּר וְהִנֵּה לֹא שָׁמַעְתָּ עַד כֹּה. יזכֹּה אָמַר יהוה בְּזֹאת תֵּדַע כִּי אֲנִי יהוה הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי מַכֶּה בַּמַּטֶּה אֲשֶׁר בְּיָדִי עַל הַמַּיִם אֲשֶׁר בַּיְאֹר וְנֶהֶפְכוּ לְדָם. יחוְהַדָּגָה אֲשֶׁר בַּיְאֹר תָּמוּת וּבָאַשׁ הַיְאֹר וְנִלְאוּ מִצְרַיִם לִשְׁתּוֹת מַיִם מִן הַיְאֹר.
יטוַיֹּאמֶר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה אֱמֹר אֶל אַהֲרֹן קַח מַטְּךָ וּנְטֵה יָדְךָ עַל מֵימֵי מִצְרַיִם עַל נַהֲרֹתָם עַל יְאֹרֵיהֶם וְעַל אַגְמֵיהֶם וְעַל כָּל מִקְוֵה מֵימֵיהֶם וְיִהְיוּ דָם וְהָיָה דָם בְּכָל אֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם וּבָעֵצִים וּבָאֲבָנִים. כוַיַּעֲשׂוּ כֵן מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יהוה וַיָּרֶם בַּמַּטֶּה וַיַּךְ אֶת הַמַּיִם אֲשֶׁר בַּיְאֹר לְעֵינֵי פַרְעֹה וּלְעֵינֵי עֲבָדָיו וַיֵּהָפְכוּ כָּל הַמַּיִם אֲשֶׁר בַּיְאֹר לְדָם. כאוְהַדָּגָה אֲשֶׁר בַּיְאֹר מֵתָה וַיִּבְאַשׁ הַיְאֹר וְלֹא יָכְלוּ מִצְרַיִם לִשְׁתּוֹת מַיִם מִן הַיְאֹר וַיְהִי הַדָּם בְּכָל אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם. כבוַיַּעֲשׂוּ כֵן חַרְטֻמֵּי מִצְרַיִם בְּלָטֵיהֶם וַיֶּחֱזַק לֵב פַּרְעֹה וְלֹא שָׁמַע אֲלֵהֶם כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יהוה . כגוַיִּפֶן פַּרְעֹה וַיָּבֹא אֶל בֵּיתוֹ וְלֹא שָׁת לִבּוֹ גַּם לָזֹאת. כדוַיַּחְפְּרוּ כָל מִצְרַיִם סְבִיבֹת הַיְאֹר מַיִם לִשְׁתּוֹת כִּי לֹא יָכְלוּ לִשְׁתֹּת מִמֵּימֵי הַיְאֹר. כהוַיִּמָּלֵא שִׁבְעַת יָמִים אַחֲרֵי הַכּוֹת יהוה אֶת הַיְאֹר.
כווַיֹּאמֶר יהוה אֶל מֹשֶׁה בֹּא אֶל פַּרְעֹה וְאָמַרְתָּ אֵלָיו כֹּה אָמַר יהוה שַׁלַּח אֶת עַמִּי וְיַעַבְדֻנִי. כזוְאִם מָאֵן אַתָּה לְשַׁלֵּחַ הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי נֹגֵף אֶת כָּל גְּבוּלְךָ בַּצְפַרְדְּעִים. כחוְשָׁרַץ הַיְאֹר צְפַרְדְּעִים וְעָלוּ וּבָאוּ בְּבֵיתֶךָ וּבַחֲדַר מִשְׁכָּבְךָ וְעַל מִטָּתֶךָ וּבְבֵית עֲבָדֶיךָ וּבְעַמֶּךָ וּבְתַנּוּרֶיךָ וּבְמִשְׁאֲרוֹתֶיךָ. כטוּבְכָה וּבְעַמְּךָ וּבְכָל עֲבָדֶיךָ יַעֲלוּ הַצְפַרְדְּעִים.
