¹And they brought in the Aron HaElohim, and set it in the midst of the Ohel that David had pitched for it, and they offered Olot and Sh’lamim before Elohim. ²And when David had made an end of offering the Olah and the Sh’lamim, he blessed the people in the Name of  יהוה . And³ he dealt to every one of Yisra’el, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a cake made in a pan, and a sweet cake. ⁴And he appointed certain of the Levi’im to minister before the Aron  יהוה , and to celebrate and to thank and praise  יהוה  Elohei Yisra’el:  ⁵Asaf the chief, and second to him Zekhar-Yah, Ye’iyel, and Shemiramot, and Yekhi’el ,  and  Matit-Yah,  and  Eli’av,  and Bena-Yah,  and  Oved  Edom,  and  Ye’iyel,   with 

nevalim and with kinorot; and Asaf with cymbals, sounding aloud; ⁶and Bena-Yah and Yakhazi’el the Kohanim with trumpets continually, before Aron Brit HaElohim. ⁷Then on that day did David first ordain to give thanks unto  יהוה , by the hand of Asaf and his brethren.

⁸“O give thanks unto  יהוה , call upon His name; make known His doings among the peoples. ⁹Sing unto Him, sing praises unto Him; speak of all His marvellous works. ¹⁰Glory in His Kadosh Name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek  יהוה . Seek¹¹ יהוה  and His strength; seek His face continually. ¹²Remember His marvellous works that He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth; ¹³O you seed of Yisra’el His servant, you B’nei Ya’akov, His chosen ones. ¹⁴He is  יהוה  our Elohim; His judgments are in all the earth. ¹⁵Remember His Brit forever, The Davar which He commanded to a thousand generations, ¹⁶which He made with Avraham, and His oath unto Yitz’khak; ¹⁷and He established it unto Ya’akov for a statute, to Yisra’el for a Brit Olam; ¹⁸saying, ‘Unto you will I give the land of Kena’an, the lot of your inheritance.’ ¹⁹When you were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and sojourners in it, ²⁰and when they went about from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people, ²¹He suffered no man to do them wrong, yes, for their sake He reproved kings: ²²‘Touch not My anointed ones, and do My Nevi’im no harm.'”

²³“Sing unto  יהוה , all the earth; proclaim His Salvation from day to day. ²⁴Declare His glory among the nations, His marvellous works among all the peoples. ²⁵For great is  יהוה , and highly to be praised; He also is to be feared above all gods. ²⁶For all the gods of the peoples are things of nought; but  יהוה  made the heavens. ²⁷Honor and majesty are before Him; strength and gladness are in His place. ²⁸Ascribe unto  יהוה , you kindreds of the peoples, ascribe unto  יהוה  glory and strength. ²⁹Ascribe unto  יהוה  the glory due unto His name; bring an offering, and come before Him; worship  יהוה  in the beauty of Kodesh. ³⁰Tremble before Him, all the earth; the world also is established that it cannot be moved. ³¹Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; and let them say among the nations, ‘ יהוה  reigns.’ ³²Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; let the field exult, and all that is therein; ³³then shall the trees of the wood sing for joy before  יהוה , for He is come to judge the earth. ³⁴O give thanks unto  יהוה ; for He is good; for His compassion endures forever. ³⁵And say, ‘Hoshi’einu, O Elohim of our Salvation, and gather us together and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks unto Your Kadosh Name, that we may triumph in Your praise.’ ³⁶Blessed is  יהוה  Elohei Yisra’el, from everlasting even to everlasting.” And all the people said, “Amein,” and praised  יהוה .

³⁷So he left there, before the Aron HaBrit  יהוה , Asaf and his brethren, to minister before HaAron continually, as every day’s work required; ³⁸and Oved Edom with their brethren, sixty-eight;  Oved Edom also Ben Yeditun and Khosah to be door-keepers; ³⁹and Tzadok the Kohen, and his brethren the Kohanim, before the Mishkan  יהוה  in the high place that was at Givon, ⁴⁰to offer Olot unto  יהוה  upon the Mizbe’akh of Olot continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the Torah of  יהוה , which He commanded unto Yisra’el; ⁴¹and with them Heiman and Yedutun, and the rest that were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to  יהוה , because His compassion endures forever; ⁴²and with them Heiman and Yedutun, to sound aloud with trumpets and cymbals, and with instruments for the songs of Elohim; and the sons of Yedutun to be at the gate. ⁴³And all the people departed every man to his house; and David returned to bless his house.

^אוַיָּבִיאוּ אֶת אֲרוֹן הָאֱלֹהִים וַיַּצִּיגוּ אֹתוֹ בְּתוֹךְ הָאֹהֶל אֲשֶׁר נָטָה לוֹ דָּוִיד; וַיַּקְרִיבוּ עֹלוֹת וּשְׁלָמִים לִפְנֵי הָאֱלֹהִים. ^בוַיְכַל דָּוִיד מֵהַעֲלוֹת הָעֹלָה וְהַשְּׁלָמִים; וַיְבָרֶךְ אֶת הָעָם בְּשֵׁם יהוה . ^גוַיְחַלֵּק לְכָל אִישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאִישׁ וְעַד אִשָּׁה לְאִישׁ כִּכַּר לֶחֶם וְאֶשְׁפָּר וַאֲשִׁישָׁה. ^דוַיִּתֵּן לִפְנֵי אֲרוֹן יהוה מִן הַלְוִיִּם מְשָׁרְתִים; וּלְהַזְכִּיר וּלְהוֹדוֹת וּלְהַלֵּל לַיהוה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל.  ^האָסָף  הָרֹאשׁ  וּמִשְׁנֵהוּ  זְכַרְיָה;  יְעִיאֵל  וּשְׁמִירָמוֹת  וִיחִיאֵל  וּמַתִּתְיָה וֶאֱלִיאָב וּבְנָיָהוּ וְעֹבֵד אֱדֹם וִיעִיאֵל בִּכְלֵי נְבָלִים וּבְכִנֹּרוֹת וְאָסָף בַּמְצִלְתַּיִם מַשְׁמִיעַ. ^ווּבְנָיָהוּ וְיַחֲזִיאֵל הַכֹּהֲנִים בַּחֲצֹצְרוֹת תָּמִיד לִפְנֵי אֲרוֹן בְּרִית הָאֱלֹהִים. ^זבַּיּוֹם הַהוּא אָז נָתַן דָּוִיד בָּרֹאשׁ לְהֹדוֹת לַיהוה בְּיַד אָסָף וְאֶחָיו. 

^חהוֹדוּ לַיהוה קִרְאוּ בִשְׁמוֹ הוֹדִיעוּ בָעַמִּים עֲלִילֹתָיו. ^טשִׁירוּ לוֹ זַמְּרוּ לוֹ שִׂיחוּ בְּכָל נִפְלְאֹתָיו. ^יהִתְהַלְלוּ בְּשֵׁם קָדְשׁוֹ יִשְׂמַח לֵב מְבַקְשֵׁי יהוה . ^יאדִּרְשׁוּ יהוה וְעֻזּוֹ בַּקְּשׁוּ פָנָיו תָּמִיד. ^יבזִכְרוּ נִפְלְאֹתָיו אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה מֹפְתָיו וּמִשְׁפְּטֵי פִיהוּ. ^יגזֶרַע יִשְׂרָאֵל עַבְדּוֹ בְּנֵי יַעֲקֹב בְּחִירָיו. ^ידהוּא יהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ בְּכָל הָאָרֶץ מִשְׁפָּטָיו. ^טוזִכְרוּ לְעוֹלָם בְּרִיתוֹ דָּבָר צִוָּה לְאֶלֶף דּוֹר. ^טזאֲשֶׁר כָּרַת אֶת אַבְרָהָם וּשְׁבוּעָתוֹ לְיִצְחָק. ^יזוַיַּעֲמִידֶהָ לְיַעֲקֹב לְחֹק לְיִשְׂרָאֵל בְּרִית עוֹלָם. ^יחלֵאמֹר לְךָ אֶתֵּן אֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן חֶבֶל נַחֲלַתְכֶם. ^יטבִּהְיוֹתְכֶם מְתֵי מִסְפָּר כִּמְעַט וְגָרִים בָּהּ. ^כוַיִּתְהַלְּכוּ מִגּוֹי אֶל גּוֹי וּמִמַּמְלָכָה אֶל עַם אַחֵר. ^כאלֹא הִנִּיחַ לְאִישׁ לְעָשְׁקָם וַיּוֹכַח עֲלֵיהֶם מְלָכִים. ^כבאַל תִּגְּעוּ בִּמְשִׁיחָי וּבִנְבִיאַי אַל תָּרֵעוּ.

^כגשִׁירוּ לַיהוה כָּל הָאָרֶץ בַּשְּׂרוּ מִיּוֹם אֶל יוֹם יְשׁוּעָתוֹ. ^כדסַפְּרוּ בַגּוֹיִם אֶת כְּבוֹדוֹ בְּכָל הָעַמִּים נִפְלְאֹתָיו. ^כהכִּי גָדוֹל יהוה וּמְהֻלָּל מְאֹד וְנוֹרָא הוּא עַל כָּל אֱלֹהִים. ^כוכִּי כָּל אֱלֹהֵי הָעַמִּים אֱלִילִים וַיהוה שָׁמַיִם עָשָׂה. ^כזהוֹד וְהָדָר לְפָנָיו עֹז וְחֶדְוָה בִּמְקֹמוֹ. ^כחהָבוּ לַיהוה מִשְׁפְּחוֹת עַמִּים הָבוּ לַיהוה כָּבוֹד וָעֹז. ^כטהָבוּ לַיהוה כְּבוֹד שְׁמוֹ; שְׂאוּ מִנְחָה וּבֹאוּ לְפָנָיו הִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לַיהוה בְּהַדְרַת קֹדֶשׁ. ^לחִילוּ מִלְּפָנָיו כָּל הָאָרֶץ אַף תִּכּוֹן תֵּבֵל בַּל תִּמּוֹט. ^לאיִשְׂמְחוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם וְתָגֵל הָאָרֶץ וְיֹאמְרוּ בַגּוֹיִם יהוה מָלָךְ. ^לביִרְעַם הַיָּם וּמְלוֹאוֹ יַעֲלֹץ הַשָּׂדֶה וְכָל אֲשֶׁר בּוֹ. ^לגאָז יְרַנְּנוּ עֲצֵי הַיָּעַר: מִלִּפְנֵי יהוה כִּי בָא לִשְׁפּוֹט אֶת הָאָרֶץ. ^לדהוֹדוּ לַיהוה כִּי טוֹב כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ. ^להוְאִמְרוּ הוֹשִׁיעֵנוּ אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׁעֵנוּ וְקַבְּצֵנוּ וְהַצִּילֵנוּ מִן הַגּוֹיִם: לְהֹדוֹת לְשֵׁם קָדְשֶׁךָ לְהִשְׁתַּבֵּחַ בִּתְהִלָּתֶךָ. ^לובָּרוּךְ יהוה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מִן הָעוֹלָם וְעַד הָעֹלָם; וַיֹּאמְרוּ כָל הָעָם אָמֵן וְהַלֵּל לַיהוה .

^לזוַיַּעֲזָב שָׁם לִפְנֵי אֲרוֹן בְּרִית יהוה לְאָסָף וּלְאֶחָיו: לְשָׁרֵת לִפְנֵי הָאָרוֹן תָּמִיד לִדְבַר יוֹם בְּיוֹמוֹ. ^לחוְעֹבֵד אֱדֹם וַאֲחֵיהֶם שִׁשִּׁים וּשְׁמוֹנָה; וְעֹבֵד אֱדֹם בֶּן יְדִיתוּן וְחֹסָה לְשֹׁעֲרִים. ^לטוְאֵת צָדוֹק הַכֹּהֵן וְאֶחָיו הַכֹּהֲנִים לִפְנֵי מִשְׁכַּן יהוה בַּבָּמָה אֲשֶׁר בְּגִבְעוֹן. ^מלְהַעֲלוֹת עֹלוֹת לַיהוה עַל מִזְבַּח הָעֹלָה תָּמִיד לַבֹּקֶר וְלָעָרֶב; וּלְכָל הַכָּתוּב בְּתוֹרַת יהוה אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה עַל יִשְׂרָאֵל. ^מאוְעִמָּהֶם הֵימָן וִידוּתוּן וּשְׁאָר הַבְּרוּרִים אֲשֶׁר נִקְּבוּ בְּשֵׁמוֹת לְהֹדוֹת לַיהוה כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ. ^מבוְעִמָּהֶם הֵימָן וִידוּתוּן חֲצֹצְרוֹת וּמְצִלְתַּיִם לְמַשְׁמִיעִים וּכְלֵי שִׁיר הָאֱלֹהִים; וּבְנֵי יְדוּתוּן לַשָּׁעַר. ^מגוַיֵּלְכוּ כָל הָעָם אִישׁ לְבֵיתוֹ; וַיִּסֹּב דָּוִיד לְבָרֵךְ אֶת בֵּיתוֹ.
