1These are the sons of Yisra’el: Re’uven, Shimon, Levi, and Yehudah, Yisakhar, and Zevulun; 2Dan, Yosef, and Binyamin, Naftali, Gad, and Asher.
3The sons of Yehudah: Er, and Onan, and Shelakh; which three were born unto him of Bat Shu’ah the Kena’anit. And Er, Yehudah’s first-born, was wicked in the sight of יהוה ; and He slew him. 4And Tamar his daughter-in-law bore him Peretz and Zarakh. All the sons of Yehudah were five. 5The sons of Peretz: Khetzron, and Khamul. 6And the sons of Zarakh: Zimri, and Etan, and Heiman, and Kalkol, and Dara: five of them in all. 7And the sons of Karmi: Akhar, the troubler of Yisra’el, who committed a trespass concerning the devoted thing. 8And the sons of Etan: Azar-Yah. 9The sons also of Khetzron, that were born unto him: Yerakhme’el, and Ram, and Kheluvai. 10And Ram begot Aminadav; and Aminadav begot Nakhshon, prince of B’nei Yehudah; 11and Nakhshon begot Salma, and Salma begot Bo’az; 12and Bo’az begot Oved, and Oved begot Yishai; 13and Yishai begot his first-born Eli’av, and Avinadav the second, and Shima the third; 14Netanel the fourth, Radai the fifth; 15Ozem the sixth, David the seventh. 16And their sisters were Tzeru-Yah and Aviga’il. And the sons of Tzeru-Yah: Avishai, and Yo’av, and Asahel, three. 17And Aviga’il bore Amasa; and the father of Amasa was Yeter the Yishma’eli. 18And Kalev Ben Khetzron begot children of Azuvah his wife, and of Yeri’ot, and these were her sons: Yesher, and Shovav, and Ardon. 19And Azuvah died, and Kalev took unto him Efrat, who bore him Khur. 20And Khur begot Uri, and Uri begot Betzalel. 21And afterward Khetzron went in to the daughter of Makhir the father of Gilad, whom he took to wife when he was sixty years old, and she bore him Seguv. 22And Seguv begot Ya’ir, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilad. 23And Geshur and Aram took Khavut Ya’ir from them, with Kenat, and the villages thereof, even sixty cities. All these were the sons of Makhir the father of Gilad. 24And after that Khetzron was dead in Kalev Efrat, then Avi-Yah, Khetzron’s wife, bore him Ash’khur the father of Teko’ah. 25And the sons of Yerakhme’el the first-born of Khetzron were Ram the first-born, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Akhi-Yah. 26And Yerakhme’el had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam. 27And the sons of Ram the first-born of Yerakhme’el were Ma’atz, and Yamin, and Eker. 28And the sons of Onam were Shamai, and Yada; and the sons of Shamai: Nadav, and Avishur. 29And the name of the wife of Avishur was Avikhayil; and she bore him Akhban, and Molid. 30And the sons of Nadav: Seled, and Apayim; but Seled died without children. 31And the sons of Apayim: Yishi. And the sons of Yishi: Sheshan. And the sons of Sheshan: Akhlai. 32And the sons of Yada the brother of Shamai: Yeter, and Yonatan: and Yeter died without children. 33And the sons of Yonatan: Pelet, and Zaza. These were the sons of Yerakhme’el. 34Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, a Mitzri, whose name was Yarkha. 35So Sheshan gave his daughter to Yarkha his servant to wife; and she bore him Atai. 36And Atai begot Natan, and Natan begot Zavad; 37and Zavad begot Eflal, and Eflal begot Oved; 38and Oved begot Yehu, and Yehu begot Azar-Yah; 39and Azar-Yah begot Khaletz, and Khaletz begot El’asah; 40and El’asah begot Sisamai, and Sisamai begot Shalum; 41and Shalum begot Yekam-Yah, and Yekam-Yah begot Elishama. 42And the sons of Kalev the brother of Yerakhme’el were Mesha his first-born, who was the father of Zif, and the sons of Mareshah the father of Khevron. 43And the sons of Khevron: Korakh, and Tapu’akh, and Rekem, and Shema. 44And Shema begot Rakham, the father of Yarkam; and Rekem begot Shamai. 45And Ben Shamai was Ma’on; and Ma’on was the father of Beit Tzur. 46And Efah, Kalev’s concubine, bore Kharan, and Motza, and Gazez; and Kharan begot Gazez. 47And the sons of Yakhdai: Regem, and Yotam, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Efah, and Sha’af. 48Ma’akhah, Kalev’s concubine, bore Shever and Tirkhanah. 49And [the wife of] Sha’af the father of Madmanah bore Sheva the father of Makhbenah and the father of Giva. And the daughter of Kalev was Akhsah. 50These were the sons of Kalev. The sons of Khur the first-born of Efrat: Shoval the father of Kiryat Y’arim; 51Salma the father of Beit Lekhem, Kharef the father of Beit Gader. 52And Shoval the father of Kiryat Y’arim had sons: Haro’eh, and half of the Menuhot. 53And the families of Kiryat Y’arim: the Yitri, and the Puti, and the Shumati, and the Mishra’i; of them came the Tzarati, and the Eshta’uli. 54The sons of Salma: Beit Lekhem, and the Netofati, Atrot Beit Yo’av, and half of the Manakhti, the Tzari. 55And the families of scribes that dwelt at Yabetz: the Tiratim, the Shimatim, the Sukhatim. These are the Kenim that came of Khamat, the father of the house of Rekhav.
אאֵלֶּה בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל: רְאוּבֵן שִׁמְעוֹן לֵוִי וִיהוּדָה יִשָּׂשכָר וּזְבֻלוּן. בדָּן יוֹסֵף וּבִנְיָמִן נַפְתָּלִי גָּד וְאָשֵׁר.
גבְּנֵי יְהוּדָה עֵר וְאוֹנָן וְשֵׁלָה שְׁלוֹשָׁה נוֹלַד לוֹ מִבַּת שׁוּעַ הַכְּנַעֲנִית; וַיְהִי עֵר בְּכוֹר יְהוּדָה רַע בְּעֵינֵי יהוה וַיְמִיתֵהוּ. דוְתָמָר כַּלָּתוֹ יָלְדָה לּוֹ אֶת פֶּרֶץ וְאֶת זָרַח; כָּל בְּנֵי יְהוּדָה חֲמִשָּׁה.הבְּנֵי פֶרֶץ חֶצְרוֹן וְחָמוּל. ווּבְנֵי זֶרַח זִמְרִי וְאֵיתָן וְהֵימָן וְכַלְכֹּל וָדָרַע כֻּלָּם חֲמִשָּׁה. זוּבְנֵי כַּרְמִי עָכָר עוֹכֵר יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר מָעַל בַּחֵרֶם. חוּבְנֵי אֵיתָן עֲזַרְיָה. טוּבְנֵי חֶצְרוֹן אֲשֶׁר נוֹלַד לוֹ אֶת יְרַחְמְאֵל וְאֶת רָם וְאֶת כְּלוּבָי. יוְרָם הוֹלִיד אֶת עַמִּינָדָב; וְעַמִּינָדָב הוֹלִיד אֶת נַחְשׁוֹן נְשִׂיא בְּנֵי יְהוּדָה. יאוְנַחְשׁוֹן הוֹלִיד אֶת שַׂלְמָא וְשַׂלְמָא הוֹלִיד אֶת בֹּעַז. יבוּבֹעַז הוֹלִיד אֶת עוֹבֵד וְעוֹבֵד הוֹלִיד אֶת יִשָׁי. יגוְאִישַׁי הוֹלִיד אֶת בְּכֹרוֹ אֶת אֱלִיאָב וַאֲבִינָדָב הַשֵּׁנִי וְשִׁמְעָא הַשְּׁלִשִׁי. ידנְתַנְאֵל הָרְבִיעִי רַדַּי הַחֲמִישִׁי. טואֹצֶם הַשִּׁשִּׁי דָּוִיד הַשְּׁבִעִי. טזוְאַחְיֹתֵיהֶם צְרוּיָה וַאֲבִיגָיִל; וּבְנֵי צְרוּיָה אַבְשַׁי וְיוֹאָב וַעֲשָׂהאֵל שְׁלֹשָׁה. יזוַאֲבִיגַיִל יָלְדָה אֶת עֲמָשָׂא; וַאֲבִי עֲמָשָׂא יֶתֶר הַיִּשְׁמְעֵאלִי. יחוְכָלֵב בֶּן חֶצְרוֹן הוֹלִיד אֶת עֲזוּבָה אִשָּׁה וְאֶת יְרִיעוֹת; וְאֵלֶּה בָנֶיהָ יֵשֶׁר וְשׁוֹבָב וְאַרְדּוֹן. יטוַתָּמָת עֲזוּבָה; וַיִּקַּח לוֹ כָלֵב אֶת אֶפְרָת וַתֵּלֶד לוֹ אֶת חוּר. כוְחוּר הוֹלִיד אֶת אוּרִי וְאוּרִי הוֹלִיד אֶת בְּצַלְאֵל. כאוְאַחַר בָּא חֶצְרוֹן אֶל בַּת מָכִיר אֲבִי גִלְעָד וְהוּא לְקָחָהּ וְהוּא בֶּן שִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה; וַתֵּלֶד לוֹ אֶת שְׂגוּב. כבוּשְׂגוּב הוֹלִיד אֶת יָאִיר; וַיְהִי לוֹ עֶשְׂרִים וְשָׁלוֹשׁ עָרִים בְּאֶרֶץ הַגִּלְעָד. כגוַיִּקַּח גְּשׁוּר וַאֲרָם אֶת חַוֹּת יָאִיר מֵאִתָּם אֶת קְנָת וְאֶת בְּנֹתֶיהָ שִׁשִּׁים עִיר; כָּל אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי מָכִיר אֲבִי גִלְעָד. כדוְאַחַר מוֹת חֶצְרוֹן בְּכָלֵב אֶפְרָתָה; וְאֵשֶׁת חֶצְרוֹן אֲבִיָּה וַתֵּלֶד לוֹ אֶת אַשְׁחוּר אֲבִי תְקוֹעַ. כהוַיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי יְרַחְמְאֵל בְּכוֹר חֶצְרוֹן הַבְּכוֹר רָם; וּבוּנָה וָאֹרֶן וָאֹצֶם אֲחִיָּה. כווַתְּהִי אִשָּׁה אַחֶרֶת לִירַחְמְאֵל וּשְׁמָהּ עֲטָרָה; הִיא אֵם אוֹנָם. כזוַיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי רָם בְּכוֹר יְרַחְמְאֵל מַעַץ וְיָמִין וָעֵקֶר. כחוַיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי אוֹנָם שַׁמַּי וְיָדָע; וּבְנֵי שַׁמַּי נָדָב וַאֲבִישׁוּר. כטוְשֵׁם אֵשֶׁת אֲבִישׁוּר אֲבִיהָיִל; וַתֵּלֶד לוֹ אֶת אַחְבָּן וְאֶת מוֹלִיד. לוּבְנֵי נָדָב סֶלֶד וְאַפָּיִם; וַיָּמָת סֶלֶד לֹא בָנִים. לאוּבְנֵי אַפַּיִם יִשְׁעִי; וּבְנֵי יִשְׁעִי שֵׁשָׁן וּבְנֵי שֵׁשָׁן אַחְלָי. לבוּבְנֵי יָדָע אֲחִי שַׁמַּי יֶתֶר וְיוֹנָתָן; וַיָּמָת יֶתֶר לֹא בָנִים. לגוּבְנֵי יוֹנָתָן פֶּלֶת וְזָזָא; אֵלֶּה הָיוּ בְּנֵי יְרַחְמְאֵל. לדוְלֹא הָיָה לְשֵׁשָׁן בָּנִים כִּי אִם בָּנוֹת; וּלְשֵׁשָׁן עֶבֶד מִצְרִי וּשְׁמוֹ יַרְחָע. להוַיִּתֵּן שֵׁשָׁן אֶת בִּתּוֹ לְיַרְחָע עַבְדּוֹ לְאִשָּׁה; וַתֵּלֶד לוֹ אֶת עַתָּי. לווְעַתַּי הֹלִיד אֶת נָתָן וְנָתָן הוֹלִיד אֶת זָבָד. לזוְזָבָד הוֹלִיד אֶת אֶפְלָל וְאֶפְלָל הוֹלִיד אֶת עוֹבֵד. לחוְעוֹבֵד הוֹלִיד אֶת יֵהוּא וְיֵהוּא הֹלִיד אֶת עֲזַרְיָה. לטוַעֲזַרְיָה הֹלִיד אֶת חָלֶץ וְחֶלֶץ הֹלִיד אֶת אֶלְעָשָׂה. מוְאֶלְעָשָׂה הֹלִיד אֶת סִסְמָי וְסִסְמַי הֹלִיד אֶת שַׁלּוּם. מאוְשַׁלּוּם הוֹלִיד אֶת יְקַמְיָה וִיקַמְיָה הֹלִיד אֶת אֱלִישָׁמָע. מבוּבְנֵי כָלֵב אֲחִי יְרַחְמְאֵל מֵישָׁע בְּכֹרוֹ הוּא אֲבִי זִיף וּבְנֵי מָרֵשָׁה אֲבִי חֶבְרוֹן. מגוּבְנֵי חֶבְרוֹן קֹרַח וְתַפֻּחַ וְרֶקֶם וָשָׁמַע. מדוְשֶׁמַע הוֹלִיד אֶת רַחַם אֲבִי יָרְקְעָם; וְרֶקֶם הוֹלִיד אֶת שַׁמָּי. מהוּבֶן שַׁמַּי מָעוֹן; וּמָעוֹן אֲבִי בֵית צוּר. מווְעֵיפָה פִּילֶגֶשׁ כָּלֵב יָלְדָה אֶת חָרָן וְאֶת מוֹצָא וְאֶת גָּזֵז; וְחָרָן הֹלִיד אֶת גָּזֵז. מזוּבְנֵי יָהְדָּי רֶגֶם וְיוֹתָם וְגֵישָׁן וָפֶלֶט וְעֵיפָה וָשָׁעַף. מחפִּילֶגֶשׁ כָּלֵב מַעֲכָה יָלַד שֶׁבֶר וְאֶת תִּרְחֲנָה. מטוַתֵּלֶד שַׁעַף אֲבִי מַדְמַנָּה אֶת שְׁוָא אֲבִי מַכְבֵּנָה וַאֲבִי גִבְעָא; וּבַת כָּלֵב עַכְסָה. נאֵלֶּה הָיוּ בְּנֵי כָלֵב בֶּן חוּר בְּכוֹר אֶפְרָתָה שׁוֹבָל אֲבִי קִרְיַת יְעָרִים. נאשַׂלְמָא אֲבִי בֵית לָחֶם חָרֵף אֲבִי בֵית גָּדֵר. נבוַיִּהְיוּ בָנִים לְשׁוֹבָל אֲבִי קִרְיַת יְעָרִים הָרֹאֶה חֲצִי הַמְּנֻחוֹת. נגוּמִשְׁפְּחוֹת קִרְיַת יְעָרִים הַיִּתְרִי וְהַפּוּתִי וְהַשֻּׁמָתִי וְהַמִּשְׁרָעִי; מֵאֵלֶּה יָצְאוּ הַצָּרְעָתִי וְהָאֶשְׁתָּאֻלִי. נדבְּנֵי שַׂלְמָא בֵּית לֶחֶם וּנְטוֹפָתִי עַטְרוֹת בֵּית יוֹאָב; וַחֲצִי הַמָּנַחְתִּי הַצָּרְעִי. נהוּמִשְׁפְּחוֹת סֹפְרִים ישבו (יֹשְׁבֵי) יַעְבֵּץ תִּרְעָתִים שִׁמְעָתִים שׂוּכָתִים; הֵמָּה הַקִּינִים הַבָּאִים מֵחַמַּת אֲבִי בֵית רֵכָב.
