1The sons of Levi: Gershom, Kehat and Merari. 2And these are the names of the sons of Gershom: Livni, and Shimei. 3And the sons of Kehat were Amram, and Yitzhar, and Khevron, and Uzi’el. 4The sons of Merari: Makhli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levi’im according to their fathers’ houses. 5Of Gershom: Livni his son, Yakhat his son, Zimah his son; 6Yo’akh his son, Ido his son, Zarakh his son, Ye’atrai his son. 7The sons of Kehat: Aminadav his son, Korakh his son, Asir his son; 8Elkanah his son, and Evyasaf his son, and Asir his son; 9Takhat his son, Uri’el his son, Uzi-Yah his son, and Sha’ul his son. 10And the sons of Elkanah: Amasai, and Akhimot. 11As for Elkanah: the sons of Elkanah: Tzofai his son, and Nakhat his son; 12Eli’av his son, Yerokham his son, Elkanah his son. 13And the sons of Shmu’el: the first-born Vashni; then Avi-Yah. 14The sons of Merari: Makhli; Livni his son, Shimei his son, Uzah his son; 15Shime’a his son, Khagi-Yah his son, Asa-Yah his son.
16And these are they whom David set over the service of song in Beit יהוה , after that the Aron had rest. 17And they ministered with song before the Mishkan of the Ohel Mo’ed, until Shlomo had built Beit יהוה in Yerushalayim; and they took their station at their service according to their order. 18And these are they that took their station, and their sons. Of the sons of the Kehati: Heiman the singer, Ben Yo’el, Ben Shmu’el; 19Ben Elkanah, Ben Yerokham, Ben Eli’el, Ben To’akh; 20Ben Tzuf, Ben Elkanah, Ben Makhat, Ben Amasai; 21Ben Elkanah, Ben Yo’el, Ben Azar-Yah, Ben Tzefan-Yah; 22Ben Takhat, Ben Asir, Ben Evyasaf, Ben Korakh; 23Ben Yitz’har, Ben Kehat, Ben Levi, Ben Yisra’el. 24And his brother Asaf, who stood on his right hand; even Asaf Ben Berekh-Yah, Ben Shime’a; 25Ben Mikha’el, Ben Ba’asei-Yah, Ben Malkhi-Yah; 26Ben Etni, Ben Zarakh, Ben Ada-Yah; 27Ben Etan, Ben Zimah, Ben Shimei; 28Ben Yakhat, Ben Gershom, Ben Levi. 29And on the left hand their brethren the sons of Merari: Etan Ben Kishi, Ben Avdi, Ben Malukh; 30Ben Khashav-Yah, Ben Amatz-Yahu, Ben Khilki-Yah; 31Ben Amzi, Ben Bani, Ben Shemer; 32Ben Makhli, Ben Mushi, Ben Merari, Ben Levi. 33And their brethren the Levi’im were appointed for all the service of the Mishkan of Beit HaElohim. 34But Aharon and his sons offered upon the Mizbe’akh of Olot, and upon the Mizbe’akh of Ketoret, for all the work of the Kodesh HaKadashim, and to make atonement for Yisra’el, according to all that Moshe the servant of Elohim had commanded.
35And these are the sons of Aharon: Elazar his son, Pinkhas his son, Avishu’ah his son; 36Buki his son, Uzi his son, Zerakh-Yah his son; 37Merayot his son, Amar-Yah his son, Akhituv his son; 38Tzadok his son, Akhima’atz his son. 39Now these are their dwelling-places according to their encampments in their borders: to the sons of Aharon, of the families of the Kehati, for theirs was the [first] lot, 40to them they gave Khevron in the land of Yehudah, and the open land round about it; 41but the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, they gave to Kalev Ben Yefuneh. 42And to the sons of Aharon they gave the city of refuge, Khevron; Livnah also with the open land about it, and Yatir, and Eshtemo’a with the open land about it; 43and Khilez with the open land about it, Devir with the open land about it; 44and Ashan with the open land about it, and Beit Shemesh with the open land about it; 45and out of the tribe of Binyamin: Geva with the open land about it, and Alemet with the open land about it, and Anatot with the open land about it. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities. 46And unto the rest of the sons of Kehat were given by lot, out of the family of the tribe, out of the half-tribe, half the tribe of Menasheh, ten cities.
47And to the sons of Gershom, according to their families, out of the tribe of Yisakhar, and
out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naftali, and out of the tribe of Menasheh in Bashan, thirteen cities. 48Unto the sons of Merari were given by lot, according to their families, out of the tribe of Re’uven, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zevulun, twelve cities. 49So B’nei Yisra’el gave to the Levi’im the cities with the open land about them. 50And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Yehudah, and out of the tribe of the children of Shimon, and out of the tribe of the children of Binyamin, these cities which are mentioned by name. 51And some of the families of the sons of Kehat had cities of their borders out of the tribe of Efrayim. 52And they gave unto them the city of refuge, Shekhem in the hill-country of Efrayim with the open land about it; Gezer also with the open land about it; 53and Yokme’am with the open land about it, and Beit Khoron with the open land about it; 54and Ayalon with the open land about it, and Gat Rimon with the open land about it; 55and out of half the tribe of Menasheh: Aner with the open land about it, and Bile’am with the open land about it, for the rest of the family of the sons of Kehat.
56Unto the sons of Gershom were given, out of the family of half the tribe of Menasheh, Golan in Bashan with the open land about it, and Ashtarot with the open land about it; 57and out of the tribe of Yisakhar: Kedesh with the open land about it, Dovrat with the open land about it; 58and Ramot with the open land about it, and Anem with the open land about it; 59and out of the tribe of Asher: Mashal with the open land about it, and Avdon with the open land about it; 60and Khukok with the open land about it; and Rekhov with the open land about it; 61and out of the tribe of Naftali: Kedesh in the Galil with the open land about it, and Khamon with the open land about it, and Kiryatayim with the open land about it. 62Unto the rest [of the Levi’im], the sons of Merari, were given, out of the tribe of Zevulun, Rimono with the open land about it, Tavor with the open land about it; 63and beyond the Yarden at Yerekho, on the east side of the Yarden, were given them, out of the tribe of Re’uven, Betzer in the wilderness with the open land about it, and Yatzah with the open land about it, 64and Kedemot with the open land about it, and Mefa’at with the open land about it; 65and out of the tribe of Gad: Ramot in Gilad with the open land about it, and Makhanayim with the open land about it, 66and Kheshbon with the open land about it, and Ya’ezir with the open land about it.
אבְּנֵי לֵוִי: גֵּרְשֹׁם קְהָת וּמְרָרִי. בוְאֵלֶּה שְׁמוֹת בְּנֵי גֵרְשׁוֹם לִבְנִי וְשִׁמְעִי. גוּבְנֵי קְהָת עַמְרָם וְיִצְהָר וְחֶבְרוֹן וְעֻזִּיאֵל. דבְּנֵי מְרָרִי מַחְלִי וּמֻשִׁי; וְאֵלֶּה מִשְׁפְּחוֹת הַלֵּוִי לַאֲבֹתֵיהֶם. הלְגֵרְשׁוֹם לִבְנִי בְנוֹ יַחַת בְּנוֹ זִמָּה בְנוֹ. ויוֹאָח בְּנוֹ עִדּוֹ בְנוֹ זֶרַח בְּנוֹ יְאָתְרַי בְּנוֹ. זבְּנֵי קְהָת עַמִּינָדָב בְּנוֹ קֹרַח בְּנוֹ אַסִּיר בְּנוֹ. חאֶלְקָנָה בְנוֹ וְאֶבְיָסָף בְּנוֹ וְאַסִּיר בְּנוֹ. טתַּחַת בְּנוֹ אוּרִיאֵל בְּנוֹ עֻזִּיָּה בְנוֹ וְשָׁאוּל בְּנוֹ. יוּבְנֵי אֶלְקָנָה עֲמָשַׂי וַאֲחִימוֹת. יאאֶלְקָנָה בנו (בְּנֵי) אֶלְקָנָה צוֹפַי בְּנוֹ וְנַחַת בְּנוֹ. יבאֱלִיאָב בְּנוֹ יְרֹחָם בְּנוֹ אֶלְקָנָה בְנוֹ. יגוּבְנֵי שְׁמוּאֵל הַבְּכֹר וַשְׁנִי וַאֲבִיָּה. ידבְּנֵי מְרָרִי מַחְלִי; לִבְנִי בְנוֹ שִׁמְעִי בְנוֹ עֻזָּה בְנוֹ. טושִׁמְעָא בְנוֹ חַגִּיָּה בְנוֹ עֲשָׂיָה בְנוֹ.
טזוְאֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר הֶעֱמִיד דָּוִיד עַל יְדֵי שִׁיר בֵּית יהוה : מִמְּנוֹחַ הָאָרוֹן. יזוַיִּהְיוּ מְשָׁרְתִים לִפְנֵי מִשְׁכַּן אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד בַּשִּׁיר עַד בְּנוֹת שְׁלֹמֹה אֶת בֵּית יהוה בִּירוּשָׁלִָם; וַיַּעַמְדוּ כְמִשְׁפָּטָם עַל עֲבוֹדָתָם. יחוְאֵלֶּה הָעֹמְדִים וּבְנֵיהֶם: מִבְּנֵי הַקְּהָתִי הֵימָן הַמְשׁוֹרֵר בֶּן יוֹאֵל בֶּן שְׁמוּאֵל. יטבֶּן אֶלְקָנָה בֶּן יְרֹחָם בֶּן אֱלִיאֵל בֶּן תּוֹחַ. כבֶּן ציף (צוּף) בֶּן אֶלְקָנָה בֶּן מַחַת בֶּן עֲמָשָׂי. כאבֶּן אֶלְקָנָה בֶּן יוֹאֵל בֶּן עֲזַרְיָה בֶּן צְפַנְיָה. כבבֶּן תַּחַת בֶּן אַסִּיר בֶּן אֶבְיָסָף בֶּן קֹרַח. כגבֶּן יִצְהָר בֶּן קְהָת בֶּן לֵוִי בֶּן יִשְׂרָאֵל. כדוְאָחִיו אָסָף הָעֹמֵד עַל יְמִינוֹ אָסָף בֶּן בֶּרֶכְיָהוּ בֶּן שִׁמְעָא. כהבֶּן מִיכָאֵל בֶּן בַּעֲשֵׂיָה בֶּן מַלְכִּיָּה. כובֶּן אֶתְנִי בֶן זֶרַח בֶּן עֲדָיָה. כזבֶּן אֵיתָן בֶּן זִמָּה בֶּן שִׁמְעִי. כחבֶּן יַחַת בֶּן גֵּרְשֹׁם בֶּן לֵוִי. כטוּבְנֵי מְרָרִי אֲחֵיהֶם עַל הַשְּׂמֹאול אֵיתָן בֶּן קִישִׁי בֶּן עַבְדִּי בֶּן מַלּוּךְ. לבֶּן חֲשַׁבְיָה בֶן אֲמַצְיָה בֶּן חִלְקִיָּה. לאבֶּן אַמְצִי בֶן בָּנִי בֶּן שָׁמֶר. לבבֶּן מַחְלִי בֶּן מוּשִׁי בֶּן מְרָרִי בֶּן לֵוִי. לגוַאֲחֵיהֶם הַלְוִיִּם: נְתוּנִים לְכָל עֲבוֹדַת מִשְׁכַּן בֵּית הָאֱלֹהִים. לדוְאַהֲרֹן וּבָנָיו מַקְטִירִים עַל מִזְבַּח הָעוֹלָה וְעַל מִזְבַּח הַקְּטֹרֶת לְכֹל מְלֶאכֶת קֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים; וּלְכַפֵּר עַל יִשְׂרָאֵל כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה מֹשֶׁה עֶבֶד הָאֱלֹהִים.
להוְאֵלֶּה בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן אֶלְעָזָר בְּנוֹ פִּינְחָס בְּנוֹ אֲבִישׁוּעַ בְּנוֹ. לובֻּקִּי בְנוֹ עֻזִּי בְנוֹ זְרַחְיָה בְנוֹ. לזמְרָיוֹת בְּנוֹ אֲמַרְיָה בְנוֹ אֲחִיטוּב בְּנוֹ. לחצָדוֹק בְּנוֹ אֲחִימַעַץ בְּנוֹ. לטוְאֵלֶּה מוֹשְׁבוֹתָם לְטִירוֹתָם בִּגְבוּלָם לִבְנֵי אַהֲרֹן לְמִשְׁפַּחַת הַקְּהָתִי כִּי לָהֶם הָיָה הַגּוֹרָל. מוַיִּתְּנוּ לָהֶם אֶת חֶבְרוֹן בְּאֶרֶץ יְהוּדָה וְאֶת מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ סְבִיבֹתֶיהָ. מאוְאֶת שְׂדֵה הָעִיר וְאֶת חֲצֵרֶיהָ נָתְנוּ לְכָלֵב בֶּן יְפֻנֶּה. מבוְלִבְנֵי אַהֲרֹן נָתְנוּ אֶת עָרֵי הַמִּקְלָט אֶת חֶבְרוֹן וְאֶת לִבְנָה וְאֶת מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ; וְאֶת יַתִּר וְאֶת אֶשְׁתְּמֹעַ וְאֶת מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ. מגוְאֶת חִילֵז וְאֶת מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ אֶת דְּבִיר וְאֶת מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ. מדוְאֶת עָשָׁן וְאֶת מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ וְאֶת בֵּית שֶׁמֶשׁ וְאֶת מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ. מהוּמִמַּטֵּה בִנְיָמִן אֶת גֶּבַע וְאֶת מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ וְאֶת עָלֶמֶת וְאֶת מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ וְאֶת עֲנָתוֹת וְאֶת מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ; כָּל עָרֵיהֶם שְׁלֹשׁ עֶשְׂרֵה עִיר בְּמִשְׁפְּחוֹתֵיהֶם. מווְלִבְנֵי קְהָת הַנּוֹתָרִים מִמִּשְׁפַּחַת הַמַּטֶּה מִמַּחֲצִית מַטֵּה חֲצִי מְנַשֶּׁה בַּגּוֹרָל עָרִים עָשֶׂר.
