Upon Shigyonot. 2O יהוה , I have heard the report of You, and am afraid; O יהוה , revive Your work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy. 3Elo’ah comes from Teman, and HaKadosh from Har Paran. Selah. His glory covers the heavens, and the earth is full of His praise. 4And a brightness appears as the light; rays has He at His side; and there is the hiding of His power. 5Before him goes the pestilence, and fiery bolts go forth at His feet. 6He stands, and shakes the earth, He beholds, and makes the nations to tremble; and the everlasting mountains are dashed in pieces, the ancient hills do bow; His goings are as of old. 7I see the tents of Khushan in affliction; the curtains of the land of Midyan do tremble. 8Is it, O יהוה , that against the rivers, is it that Your anger is kindled against the rivers, or Your wrath against the sea, that You do ride upon Your horses, upon Your chariots of victory? 9Your bow is made quite bare; sworn are the rods of the word. You do cleave the earth with rivers. 10The mountains have seen You, and they tremble; the tempest of waters flows over; the deep utters its voice, and lifts up its hands on high. 11The sun and moon stand still in their habitation; at the light of Your arrows as they go, at the shining of Your glittering spear. 12You march through the earth in indignation, You thresh the nations in anger. 13You are come forth for the deliverance of Your people, for the deliverance of Your Mashi’akh; You wound the head out of the house of the wicked, uncovering the foundation even unto the neck. Selah.
14You have stricken through with his own rods the head of his rulers, that come as a whirlwind to scatter me; whose rejoicing is as to devour the poor secretly. 15You have trodden the sea with Your horses, the foaming of mighty waters. 16When I heard, my inward parts trembled, my lips quivered at the voice; rottenness enters into my bones, and I tremble where I stand; that I should wait for the day of trouble, when he comes up against the people that he invades. 17For though the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no food; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls; 18Yet I will rejoice in יהוה , I will exult in the Elo’ah of my Salvation. 19 יהוה Adonai is my strength, and He makes my feet like hinds’ feet, and He makes me to walk upon my high places. אתְּפִלָּה לַחֲבַקּוּק הַנָּבִיא עַל שִׁגְיֹנוֹת. ב יהוה שָׁמַעְתִּי שִׁמְעֲךָ יָרֵאתִי יהוה פָּעָלְךָ בְּקֶרֶב שָׁנִים חַיֵּיהוּ בְּקֶרֶב שָׁנִים תּוֹדִיעַ; בְּרֹגֶז רַחֵם תִּזְכּוֹר. גאֱלוֹהַּ מִתֵּימָן יָבוֹא וְקָדוֹשׁ מֵהַר פָּארָן סֶלָה; כִּסָּה שָׁמַיִם הוֹדוֹ וּתְהִלָּתוֹ מָלְאָה הָאָרֶץ. דוְנֹגַהּ כָּאוֹר תִּהְיֶה קַרְנַיִם מִיָּדוֹ לוֹ; וְשָׁם חֶבְיוֹן עֻזֹּה. הלְפָנָיו יֵלֶךְ דָּבֶר; וְיֵצֵא רֶשֶׁף לְרַגְלָיו. ועָמַד וַיְמֹדֶד אֶרֶץ רָאָה וַיַּתֵּר גּוֹיִם וַיִּתְפֹּצְצוּ הַרְרֵי עַד שַׁחוּ גִּבְעוֹת עוֹלָם; הֲלִיכוֹת עוֹלָם לוֹ. זתַּחַת אָוֶן רָאִיתִי אָהֳלֵי כוּשָׁן; יִרְגְּזוּן יְרִיעוֹת אֶרֶץ מִדְיָן. חהֲבִנְהָרִים חָרָה יהוה אִם בַּנְּהָרִים אַפֶּךָ אִם בַּיָּם עֶבְרָתֶךָ: כִּי תִרְכַּב עַל סוּסֶיךָ מַרְכְּבֹתֶיךָ יְשׁוּעָה. טעֶרְיָה תֵעוֹר קַשְׁתֶּךָ שְׁבֻעוֹת מַטּוֹת אֹמֶר סֶלָה; נְהָרוֹת תְּבַקַּע אָרֶץ. ירָאוּךָ יָחִילוּ הָרִים זֶרֶם מַיִם עָבָר; נָתַן תְּהוֹם קוֹלוֹ רוֹם יָדֵיהוּ נָשָׂא. יאשֶׁמֶשׁ יָרֵחַ עָמַד זְבֻלָה; לְאוֹר חִצֶּיךָ יְהַלֵּכוּ לְנֹגַהּ בְּרַק חֲנִיתֶךָ. יבבְּזַעַם תִּצְעַד אָרֶץ; בְּאַף תָּדוּשׁ גּוֹיִם. יגיָצָאתָ לְיֵשַׁע עַמֶּךָ לְיֵשַׁע אֶת מְשִׁיחֶךָ; מָחַצְתָּ רֹּאשׁ מִבֵּית רָשָׁע עָרוֹת יְסוֹד עַד צַוָּאר סֶלָה.
ידנָקַבְתָּ בְמַטָּיו רֹאשׁ פְּרָזָו יִסְעֲרוּ לַהֲפִיצֵנִי; עֲלִיצֻתָם כְּמוֹ לֶאֱכֹל עָנִי בַּמִּסְתָּר. טודָּרַכְתָּ בַיָּם סוּסֶיךָ; חֹמֶר מַיִם רַבִּים. טזשָׁמַעְתִּי וַתִּרְגַּז בִּטְנִי לְקוֹל צָלְלוּ שְׂפָתַי יָבוֹא רָקָב בַּעֲצָמַי וְתַחְתַּי אֶרְגָּז: אֲשֶׁר אָנוּחַ לְיוֹם צָרָה לַעֲלוֹת לְעַם יְגוּדֶנּוּ. יזכִּי תְאֵנָה לֹא תִפְרָח וְאֵין יְבוּל בַּגְּפָנִים כִּחֵשׁ מַעֲשֵׂה זַיִת וּשְׁדֵמוֹת לֹא עָשָׂה אֹכֶל; גָּזַר מִמִּכְלָה צֹאן וְאֵין בָּקָר בָּרְפָתִים. יחוַאֲנִי בַּיהוה אֶעְלוֹזָה: אָגִילָה בֵּאלֹהֵי יִשְׁעִי. יטיְהוִה אֲדֹנָי חֵילִי וַיָּשֶׂם רַגְלַי כָּאַיָּלוֹת וְעַל בָּמוֹתַי יַדְרִכֵנִי; לַמְנַצֵּחַ בִּנְגִינוֹתָי.
