1“But in the Akharit HaYamim it shall come to pass, that Har Beit יהוה shall be established as the chief of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and peoples shall flow unto it. 2And many nations shall go and say, ”Come, and let us go up to Har יהוה , and to Beit Elohei Ya’akov; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths’; for out of Tzion shall go forth the Torah, and the D’var יהוה from Yerushalayim. 3And He shall judge between many peoples, and shall decide concerning mighty nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. 4But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid; for the mouth of יהוה Tzeva’ot has spoken. 5For let all the peoples walk each one in the name of its god, but we will walk in the Name of יהוה our Elohim forever and ever.”
6“In that day, says יהוה , will I assemble her that halts, and I will gather her that is driven away, and her that I have afflicted; 7and I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a mighty nation; and יהוה shall reign over them in Har Tzion from thenceforth, even forever.”
8And you, Migdal Eder, the hill of the daughter of Tzion, unto you shall it come; yes, the former dominion shall come, the kingdom of Bat Yerushalayim. 9Now why do you cry out aloud? Is there no king in you, is your counsellor perished, that pangs have taken hold of you as of a woman in travail? 10Be in pain, and labor to bring forth, O daughter of Tzion, like a woman in travail; for now shall you go forth out of the city, and shall dwell in the field, and shall come even unto Bavel; there shall you be rescued; there shall יהוה redeem you from the hand of your enemies. 11And now many nations are assembled against you, that say, ‘Let her be defiled, and let our eye gaze upon Tzion.’ 12But they know not the thoughts of יהוה , neither understand they His counsel; for He has gathered them as the sheaves to the threshing-floor. 13Arise and thresh, O daughter of Tzion; for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hooves brass; and you shall beat in pieces many peoples; and you shall devote their gain unto יהוה , and their substance unto the Adon of the whole earth. 14Now shall you gather yourself in troops, O daughter of troops; they have laid siege against us; they smite the judge of Yisra’el with a rod upon the cheek.”
אוְהָיָה בְּאַחֲרִית הַיָּמִים יִהְיֶה הַר בֵּית יהוה נָכוֹן בְּרֹאשׁ הֶהָרִים וְנִשָּׂא הוּא מִגְּבָעוֹת; וְנָהֲרוּ עָלָיו עַמִּים. בוְהָלְכוּ גּוֹיִם רַבִּים וְאָמְרוּ לְכוּ וְנַעֲלֶה אֶל הַר יהוה וְאֶל בֵּית אֱלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב וְיוֹרֵנוּ מִדְּרָכָיו וְנֵלְכָה בְּאֹרְחֹתָיו: כִּי מִצִּיּוֹן תֵּצֵא תוֹרָה וּדְבַר יהוה מִירוּשָׁלִָם. גוְשָׁפַט בֵּין עַמִּים רַבִּים וְהוֹכִיחַ לְגוֹיִם עֲצֻמִים עַד רָחוֹק; וְכִתְּתוּ חַרְבֹתֵיהֶם לְאִתִּים וַחֲנִיתֹתֵיהֶם לְמַזְמֵרוֹת לֹא יִשְׂאוּ גּוֹי אֶל גּוֹי חֶרֶב וְלֹא יִלְמְדוּן עוֹד מִלְחָמָה. דוְיָשְׁבוּ אִישׁ תַּחַת גַּפְנוֹ וְתַחַת תְּאֵנָתוֹ וְאֵין מַחֲרִיד: כִּי פִי יהוה צְבָאוֹת דִּבֵּר. הכִּי כָּל הָעַמִּים יֵלְכוּ אִישׁ בְּשֵׁם אֱלֹהָיו; וַאֲנַחְנוּ נֵלֵךְ בְּשֵׁם יהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד.
ובַּיּוֹם הַהוּא נְאֻם יהוה אֹסְפָה הַצֹּלֵעָה וְהַנִּדָּחָה אֲקַבֵּצָה; וַאֲשֶׁר הֲרֵעֹתִי. זוְשַׂמְתִּי אֶת הַצֹּלֵעָה לִשְׁאֵרִית וְהַנַּהֲלָאָה לְגוֹי עָצוּם; וּמָלַךְ יהוה עֲלֵיהֶם בְּהַר צִיּוֹן מֵעַתָּה וְעַד עוֹלָם.
חוְאַתָּה מִגְדַּל עֵדֶר עֹפֶל בַּת צִיּוֹן עָדֶיךָ תֵּאתֶה; וּבָאָה הַמֶּמְשָׁלָה הָרִאשֹׁנָה מַמְלֶכֶת לְבַת יְרוּשָׁלִָם. טעַתָּה לָמָּה תָרִיעִי רֵעַ; הֲמֶלֶךְ אֵין בָּךְ אִם יוֹעֲצֵךְ אָבָד כִּי הֶחֱזִיקֵךְ חִיל כַּיּוֹלֵדָה. יחוּלִי וָגֹחִי בַּת צִיּוֹן כַּיּוֹלֵדָה: כִּי עַתָּה תֵצְאִי מִקִּרְיָה וְשָׁכַנְתְּ בַּשָּׂדֶה וּבָאת עַד בָּבֶל שָׁם תִּנָּצֵלִי שָׁם יִגְאָלֵךְ יהוה מִכַּף אֹיְבָיִךְ. יאוְעַתָּה נֶאֶסְפוּ עָלַיִךְ גּוֹיִם רַבִּים הָאֹמְרִים תֶּחֱנָף וְתַחַז בְּצִיּוֹן עֵינֵינוּ. יבוְהֵמָּה לֹא יָדְעוּ מַחְשְׁבוֹת יהוה וְלֹא הֵבִינוּ עֲצָתוֹ: כִּי קִבְּצָם כֶּעָמִיר גֹּרְנָה. יגקוּמִי וָדוֹשִׁי בַת צִיּוֹן כִּי קַרְנֵךְ אָשִׂים בַּרְזֶל וּפַרְסֹתַיִךְ אָשִׂים נְחוּשָׁה וַהֲדִקּוֹת עַמִּים רַבִּים; וְהַחֲרַמְתִּי לַיהוה בִּצְעָם וְחֵילָם לַאֲדוֹן כָּל הָאָרֶץ. ידעַתָּה תִּתְגֹּדְדִי בַת גְּדוּד מָצוֹר שָׂם עָלֵינוּ; בַּשֵּׁבֶט יַכּוּ עַל הַלְּחִי אֵת שֹׁפֵט יִשְׂרָאֵל.
