1“And yet for all this we make a sure Brit, and subscribe it; and our princes, our Levi’im, and our Kohanim, set their seal unto it. 2Now those that set their seal were: Nekhem-Yah the Tirshatah, Ben Khakhal-Yah, and Tzidki-Yah; 3Sera-Yah, Azar-Yah, Yirme-Yahu; 4Pash’khur, Amar-Yah, Malkhi-Yah; 5Khatush, Shevan-Yah, Malukh; 6Kharim, Meremot, Ovad-Yah; 7Dani’el, Gineton, Barukh; 8Meshulam, Avi-Yah, Miyamin; 9 Ma’az-Yah, Bilgai, Shema-Yah. These were the Kohanim. 10And the Levi’im: Yeshua Ben Azan-Yah, Binui of the sons of Khenadad, Kadmi’el; 11and their brethren, Shevan-Yah, Hodi-Yah, Kelita, Pela-Yah, Khanan; 12Mikhah, Rekhov, Khashav-Yah; 13Zakur, Sherev-Yah, Shevan-Yah; 14Hodi-Yah, Bani, Beninu. 15The chiefs of the people: Parosh, Pakhat Mo’av, Elam, Zatu, Bani; 16Buni, Azgad, Bevai; 17Adon-Yah, Bigvai, Adin; 18Ater, Khizki-Yah, Azur; 19Hodi-Yah, Khashum, Betzai; 20Kharif, Anatot, Nevai; 21Magpi’ash, Meshulam, Khezir; 22Meshezavel, Tzadok, Yadu’ah; 23Pelat-Yah, Khanan, Ana-Yah; 24Hoshe’ah, Khanan-Yah, Khashuv; 25Halokhesh, Pilkhah, Shovek; 26Rekhum, Hashabnah, Ma’asei-Yah; 27and Akhi-Yah, Khanan, Anan; 28Malukh, Kharim, Ba’anah. 29And the rest of the people, the Kohanim, the Levi’im, the porters, the singers, the Netinim, and all they that had separated themselves from the peoples of the lands unto the Torah of Elohim, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every one that had knowledge and understanding; 30they cleaved to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in the Torah of Elohim, which was given by Moshe the servant of Elohim, and to observe and do all the Mitzvot of יהוה Adoneinu, and His ordinances and His statutes; 31and that we would not give our daughters unto the peoples of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons; 32and if the peoples of the land bring ware or any victuals on Yom HaShabbat to sell, that we would not buy of them on Shabbat, or on a Yom Kodesh; and that we would forego the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt. 33Also we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of Beit Eloheinu; 34for the Lekhem HaMa’arakhet, and for the continual Minkhah, and for the continual Olah, of the Sabbaths, of the Khadashim, for the Mo’edim, and for the K’doshim, and for the Khatat offerings to make atonement for Yisra’el, and for all the work of Beit Eloheinu. 35And we cast lots, the Kohanim, the Levi’im, and the people, for the wood-offering, to bring it into Beit Eloheinu, according to our fathers’ houses, at times appointed, year by year, to burn upon the Mizbe’akh of יהוה Eloheinu, as it is written in the Torah; 36and to bring the Bikkurim of our land, and the Bikkurim of all fruit of all manner of trees, year by year, unto Beit יהוה ; also37 the first-born of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the Torah, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to Beit Eloheinu, unto the Kohanim that minister in Beit Eloheinu; 38and that we should bring the first of our dough, and our Terumah offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, the choice wine and the oil, unto the Kohanim, to the chambers of Beit Eloheinu; and the tenth-part of our land unto the Levi’im; for they, the Levi’im, take the tenth-part in all the cities of our tillage. 39And the kohen, Ben Aharon shall be with the Levi’im, when the Levi’im take tenth-parts; and the Levi’im shall bring up the portions of the tenth-parts unto Beit Eloheinu, to the chambers, into the treasure-house. 40For B’nei Yisra’el and the B’nei Levi shall bring the heave-offering of the grain, of the wine, and of the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the Mikdash, and the Kohanim that minister, and the porters, and the singers; and we will not forsake Beit Eloheinu.”
אוּבְכָל זֹאת אֲנַחְנוּ כֹּרְתִים אֲמָנָה וְכֹתְבִים; וְעַל הֶחָתוּם שָׂרֵינוּ לְוִיֵּנוּ כֹּהֲנֵינוּ. בוְעַל הַחֲתוּמִים: נְחֶמְיָה הַתִּרְשָׁתָא בֶּן חֲכַלְיָה וְצִדְקִיָּה. גשְׂרָיָה עֲזַרְיָה יִרְמְיָה. דפַּשְׁחוּר אֲמַרְיָה מַלְכִּיָּה. החַטּוּשׁ שְׁבַנְיָה מַלּוּךְ. וחָרִם מְרֵמוֹת עֹבַדְיָה. זדָּנִיֵּאל גִּנְּתוֹן בָּרוּךְ. חמְשֻׁלָּם אֲבִיָּה מִיָּמִן. טמַעַזְיָה בִלְגַּי שְׁמַעְיָה; אֵלֶּה הַכֹּהֲנִים. יוְהַלְוִיִּם: וְיֵשׁוּעַ בֶּן אֲזַנְיָה בִּנּוּי מִבְּנֵי חֵנָדָד קַדְמִיאֵל. יאוַאֲחֵיהֶם שְׁבַנְיָה הוֹדִיָּה קְלִיטָא פְּלָאיָה חָנָן. יבמִיכָא רְחוֹב חֲשַׁבְיָה. יגזַכּוּר שֵׁרֵבְיָה שְׁבַנְיָה. ידהוֹדִיָּה בָנִי בְּנִינוּ. טורָאשֵׁי הָעָם: פַּרְעֹשׁ פַּחַת מוֹאָב עֵילָם זַתּוּא בָּנִי. טזבֻּנִּי עַזְגָּד בֵּבָי. יזאֲדֹנִיָּה בִגְוַי עָדִין. יחאָטֵר חִזְקִיָּה עַזּוּר. יטהוֹדִיָּה חָשֻׁם בֵּצָי. כחָרִיף עֲנָתוֹת נובי (נֵיבָי). כאמַגְפִּיעָשׁ מְשֻׁלָּם חֵזִיר. כבמְשֵׁיזַבְאֵל צָדוֹק יַדּוּעַ. כגפְּלַטְיָה חָנָן עֲנָיָה. כדהוֹשֵׁעַ חֲנַנְיָה חַשּׁוּב. כההַלּוֹחֵשׁ פִּלְחָא שׁוֹבֵק. כורְחוּם חֲשַׁבְנָה מַעֲשֵׂיָה. כזוַאֲחִיָּה חָנָן עָנָן. כחמַלּוּךְ חָרִם בַּעֲנָה. כטוּשְׁאָר הָעָם הַכֹּהֲנִים הַלְוִיִּם הַשּׁוֹעֲרִים הַמְשֹׁרְרִים הַנְּתִינִים וְכָל הַנִּבְדָּל מֵעַמֵּי הָאֲרָצוֹת אֶל תּוֹרַת הָאֱלֹהִים נְשֵׁיהֶם בְּנֵיהֶם וּבְנֹתֵיהֶם: כֹּל יוֹדֵעַ מֵבִין. למַחֲזִיקִים עַל אֲחֵיהֶם אַדִּירֵיהֶם וּבָאִים בְּאָלָה וּבִשְׁבוּעָה לָלֶכֶת בְּתוֹרַת הָאֱלֹהִים אֲשֶׁר נִתְּנָה בְּיַד מֹשֶׁה עֶבֶד הָאֱלֹהִים; וְלִשְׁמוֹר וְלַעֲשׂוֹת אֶת כָּל מִצְוֹת יהוה אֲדֹנֵינוּ וּמִשְׁפָּטָיו וְחֻקָּיו. לאוַאֲשֶׁר לֹא נִתֵּן בְּנֹתֵינוּ לְעַמֵּי הָאָרֶץ; וְאֶת בְּנֹתֵיהֶם לֹא נִקַּח לְבָנֵינוּ. לבוְעַמֵּי הָאָרֶץ הַמְבִיאִים אֶת הַמַּקָּחוֹת וְכָל שֶׁבֶר בְּיוֹם הַשַּׁבָּת לִמְכּוֹר לֹא נִקַּח מֵהֶם בַּשַּׁבָּת וּבְיוֹם קֹדֶשׁ; וְנִטֹּשׁ אֶת הַשָּׁנָה הַשְּׁבִיעִית וּמַשָּׁא כָל יָד. לגוְהֶעֱמַדְנוּ עָלֵינוּ מִצְוֹת לָתֵת עָלֵינוּ שְׁלִישִׁית הַשֶּׁקֶל בַּשָּׁנָה לַעֲבֹדַת בֵּית אֱלֹהֵינוּ. לדלְלֶחֶם הַמַּעֲרֶכֶת וּמִנְחַת הַתָּמִיד וּלְעוֹלַת הַתָּמִיד הַשַּׁבָּתוֹת הֶחֳדָשִׁים לַמּוֹעֲדִים וְלַקֳּדָשִׁים וְלַחַטָּאוֹת לְכַפֵּר עַל יִשְׂרָאֵל; וְכֹל מְלֶאכֶת בֵּית אֱלֹהֵינוּ. להוְהַגּוֹרָלוֹת הִפַּלְנוּ עַל קֻרְבַּן הָעֵצִים הַכֹּהֲנִים הַלְוִיִּם וְהָעָם לְהָבִיא לְבֵית אֱלֹהֵינוּ לְבֵית אֲבֹתֵינוּ לְעִתִּים מְזֻמָּנִים שָׁנָה בְשָׁנָה: לְבַעֵר עַל מִזְבַּח יהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ כַּכָּתוּב בַּתּוֹרָה. לווּלְהָבִיא אֶת בִּכּוּרֵי אַדְמָתֵנוּ וּבִכּוּרֵי כָּל פְּרִי כָל עֵץ שָׁנָה בְשָׁנָה: לְבֵית יהוה . לזוְאֶת בְּכֹרוֹת בָּנֵינוּ וּבְהֶמְתֵּנוּ כַּכָּתוּב בַּתּוֹרָה ; וְאֶת בְּכוֹרֵי בְקָרֵינוּ וְצֹאנֵינוּ לְהָבִיא לְבֵית אֱלֹהֵינוּ לַכֹּהֲנִים הַמְשָׁרְתִים בְּבֵית אֱלֹהֵינוּ. לחוְאֶת רֵאשִׁית עֲרִיסֹתֵינוּ וּתְרוּמֹתֵינוּ וּפְרִי כָל עֵץ תִּירוֹשׁ וְיִצְהָר נָבִיא לַכֹּהֲנִים אֶל לִשְׁכוֹת בֵּית אֱלֹהֵינוּ וּמַעְשַׂר אַדְמָתֵנוּ לַלְוִיִּם; וְהֵם הַלְוִיִּם הַמְעַשְּׂרִים בְּכֹל עָרֵי עֲבֹדָתֵנוּ. לטוְהָיָה הַכֹּהֵן בֶּן אַהֲרֹן עִם הַלְוִיִּם בַּעְשֵׂר הַלְוִיִּם; וְהַלְוִיִּם יַעֲלוּ אֶת מַעֲשַׂר הַמַּעֲשֵׂר לְבֵית אֱלֹהֵינוּ אֶל הַלְּשָׁכוֹת לְבֵית הָאוֹצָר. מכִּי אֶל הַלְּשָׁכוֹת יָבִיאוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וּבְנֵי הַלֵּוִי אֶת תְּרוּמַת הַדָּגָן הַתִּירוֹשׁ וְהַיִּצְהָר וְשָׁם כְּלֵי הַמִּקְדָּשׁ וְהַכֹּהֲנִים הַמְשָׁרְתִים וְהַשּׁוֹעֲרִים וְהַמְשֹׁרְרִים; וְלֹא נַעֲזֹב אֶת בֵּית אֱלֹהֵינוּ.
