1And the lot for B’nei Yosef went out from the Yarden at Yerekho, at the waters of Yerekho on the east, going up from Yerekho through the hill-country to the wilderness, even to Beit El. 2And it went out from Beit El Luzah, and passed along unto the border of the Arki to Atarot. 3And it went down westward to the border of the Yafleti, unto the border of Beit Khoron the nether, even unto Gazer; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. 4And B’nei Yosef, Menasheh and Efrayim, took their inheritance.
5And the border of B’nei Efrayim according to their families was thus; even the border of their inheritance eastward was Atrot Adar, unto Beit Khoron the upper. 6And the border went out westward, HaMikhmetat being on the north; and the border turned about eastward unto Ta’anat Shiloh, and passed along it on the east of Yanokhah. 7And it went down from Yanokhah to Atarot, and to Na’aratah, and reached unto Yerekho, and went out at the Yarden. 8From Tapu’akh the border went along westward to the brook of Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of B’nei Efrayim according to their families; 9together with the cities which were separated for B’nei Efrayim in the midst of the inheritance of B’nei Menasheh, all the cities with their villages. 10And they drove not out the Kena’ani that dwelt in Gazer; but the Kena’ani dwelt in the midst of Efrayim, unto this day, and became servants to do taskwork.
אוַיֵּצֵא הַגּוֹרָל לִבְנֵי יוֹסֵף מִיַּרְדֵּן יְרִיחוֹ לְמֵי יְרִיחוֹ מִזְרָחָה; הַמִּדְבָּר עֹלֶה מִירִיחוֹ בָּהָר בֵּית אֵל. בוְיָצָא מִבֵּית אֵל לוּזָה; וְעָבַר אֶל גְּבוּל הָאַרְכִּי עֲטָרוֹת. גוְיָרַד יָמָּה אֶל גְּבוּל הַיַּפְלֵטִי עַד גְּבוּל בֵּית חוֹרֹן תַּחְתּוֹן וְעַד גָּזֶר; וְהָיוּ תֹצְאֹתָו יָמָּה. דוַיִּנְחֲלוּ בְנֵי יוֹסֵף מְנַשֶּׁה וְאֶפְרָיִם.
הוַיְהִי גְּבוּל בְּנֵי אֶפְרַיִם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם; וַיְהִי גְּבוּל נַחֲלָתָם מִזְרָחָה עַטְרוֹת אַדָּר עַד בֵּית חוֹרֹן עֶלְיוֹן. ווְיָצָא הַגְּבוּל הַיָּמָּה הַמִּכְמְתָת מִצָּפוֹן וְנָסַב הַגְּבוּל מִזְרָחָה תַּאֲנַת שִׁלֹה; וְעָבַר אוֹתוֹ מִמִּזְרַח יָנוֹחָה. זוְיָרַד מִיָּנוֹחָה עֲטָרוֹת וְנַעֲרָתָה; וּפָגַע בִּירִיחוֹ וְיָצָא הַיַּרְדֵּן. חמִתַּפּוּחַ יֵלֵךְ הַגְּבוּל יָמָּה נַחַל קָנָה וְהָיוּ תֹצְאֹתָיו הַיָּמָּה; זֹאת נַחֲלַת מַטֵּה בְנֵי אֶפְרַיִם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם. טוְהֶעָרִים הַמִּבְדָּלוֹת לִבְנֵי אֶפְרַיִם בְּתוֹךְ נַחֲלַת בְּנֵי מְנַשֶּׁה כָּל הֶעָרִים וְחַצְרֵיהֶן. יוְלֹא הוֹרִישׁוּ אֶת הַכְּנַעֲנִי הַיּוֹשֵׁב בְּגָזֶר; וַיֵּשֶׁב הַכְּנַעֲנִי בְּקֶרֶב אֶפְרַיִם עַד הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה וַיְהִי לְמַס עֹבֵד.
