1And the D’var יהוה came unto me, saying, 2“Ben Adam, say unto the prince of Tzor, ‘Thus says Adonai יהוה , ‘Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, ‘I am a god, I sit in the seat of Elohim, in the heart of the seas,’ yet you are man, and not Elohim, though you did set your heart as the heart of Elohim. 3Behold, you are wiser than Dani’el! There is no secret that they can hide from you! 4By your wisdom and by your discernment you have gotten riches, and have gotten gold and silver into your treasures; 5in your great wisdom by your traffic have you increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches’. 6Therefore, thus says Adonai יהוה , ‘Because you have set your heart as the heart of Elohim, 7therefore, behold, I will bring strangers upon you, the terrible of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom, and they shall defile your brightness. 8They shall bring you down to the pit; and you shall die the deaths of them that are slain, in the heart of the seas. 9Will you yet say before him that slays you, ‘I am Elohim’? But you are man, and not Elohim, in the hand of them that defile you. 10You shall die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers; for I have spoken, says Adonai יהוה ‘.'”
11Moreover the D’var יהוה came unto me, saying, 12“Ben Adam, take up a lamentation for the king of Tzor, and say unto him, ‘Thus says Adonai יהוה , ‘You seal most accurate, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty, 13you were in Eden, Gan Elohim; every precious stone was your covering, the carnelian, the topaz, and the emerald, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the carbuncle, and the smaragd, and gold; the workmanship of your settings and of your sockets was in you, in the day that you were created they were prepared. 14You were the far-covering Keruv; and I set you, so that you were upon the kadosh mountain of Elohim; you have walked up and down in the midst of stones of fire. 15You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, till unrighteousness was found in you. 16By the multitude of your traffic they filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned; therefore have I cast you as profane out of the mountain of Elohim; and I have destroyed you, O covering Keruv, from the midst of the stones of fire. 17Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty, you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness; I have cast you to the ground, I have laid you before kings, that they may gaze upon you. 18By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your traffic, you have profaned your sanctuaries; therefore have I brought forth a fire from the midst of you, it has devoured you, and I have turned you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold you. 19All they that know you among the peoples shall be appalled at you; you are become a terror, and you shall never be any more.””
20And the D’var יהוה came unto me, saying, 21“Ben Adam, set your face toward Tzidon, and prophesy against it, 22and say, ‘Thus says Adonai יהוה , ‘Behold, I am against you, O Tzidon, and I will be glorified in the midst of you; and they shall know that I am יהוה , when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be consecrated in her. 23For I will send into her pestilence and blood in her streets; and the wounded shall fall in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am יהוה . And24 there shall be no more a pricking brier unto Beit Yisra’el, nor a piercing thorn of any that are round about them, that did have them in disdain; and they shall know that I am Adonai יהוה ‘.'”
Va’Eirah 25“Thus says Adonai יהוה , ‘When I shall have gathered Beit Yisra’el from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and shall be consecrated in them in the sight of the nations, then shall they dwell in their own land which I gave to My servant Ya’akov. 26And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yes, they shall dwell safely; when I have executed judgments upon all those that have them in disdain round about them; and they shall know that I am יהוה their Elohim.”
אוַיְהִי דְבַר יהוה אֵלַי לֵאמֹר, בבֶּן אָדָם אֱמֹר לִנְגִיד צֹר כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יהוה יַעַן גָּבַהּ לִבְּךָ וַתֹּאמֶר אֵל אָנִי מוֹשַׁב אֱלֹהִים יָשַׁבְתִּי בְּלֵב יַמִּים; וְאַתָּה אָדָם וְלֹא אֵל וַתִּתֵּן לִבְּךָ כְּלֵב אֱלֹהִים. גהִנֵּה חָכָם אַתָּה מדנאל (מִדָּנִיֵּאל): כָּל סָתוּם לֹא עֲמָמוּךָ. דבְּחָכְמָתְךָ וּבִתְבוּנָתְךָ עָשִׂיתָ לְּךָ חָיִל; וַתַּעַשׂ זָהָב וָכֶסֶף בְּאוֹצְרוֹתֶיךָ. הבְּרֹב חָכְמָתְךָ בִּרְכֻלָּתְךָ הִרְבִּיתָ חֵילֶךָ; וַיִּגְבַּהּ לְבָבְךָ בְּחֵילֶךָ. ולָכֵן כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יהוה : יַעַן תִּתְּךָ אֶת לְבָבְךָ כְּלֵב אֱלֹהִים. זלָכֵן הִנְנִי מֵבִיא עָלֶיךָ זָרִים עָרִיצֵי גּוֹיִם; וְהֵרִיקוּ חַרְבוֹתָם עַל יְפִי חָכְמָתֶךָ וְחִלְּלוּ יִפְעָתֶךָ. חלַשַּׁחַת יוֹרִדוּךָ; וָמַתָּה מְמוֹתֵי חָלָל בְּלֵב יַמִּים. טהֶאָמֹר תֹּאמַר אֱלֹהִים אָנִי לִפְנֵי הֹרְגֶךָ: וְאַתָּה אָדָם וְלֹא אֵל בְּיַד מְחַלְלֶיךָ. ימוֹתֵי עֲרֵלִים תָּמוּת בְּיַד זָרִים: כִּי אֲנִי דִבַּרְתִּי נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יהוה .
יאוַיְהִי דְבַר יהוה אֵלַי לֵאמֹר, יבבֶּן אָדָם שָׂא קִינָה עַל מֶלֶךְ צוֹר; וְאָמַרְתָּ לּוֹ כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יהוה אַתָּה חוֹתֵם תָּכְנִית מָלֵא חָכְמָה וּכְלִיל יֹפִי. יגבְּעֵדֶן גַּן אֱלֹהִים הָיִיתָ כָּל אֶבֶן יְקָרָה מְסֻכָתֶךָ אֹדֶם פִּטְדָה וְיָהֲלֹם תַּרְשִׁישׁ שֹׁהַם וְיָשְׁפֵה סַפִּיר נֹפֶךְ וּבָרְקַת וְזָהָב; מְלֶאכֶת תֻּפֶּיךָ וּנְקָבֶיךָ בָּךְ בְּיוֹם הִבָּרַאֲךָ כּוֹנָנוּ. ידאַתְּ כְּרוּב מִמְשַׁח הַסּוֹכֵךְ; וּנְתַתִּיךָ בְּהַר קֹדֶשׁ אֱלֹהִים הָיִיתָ בְּתוֹךְ אַבְנֵי אֵשׁ הִתְהַלָּכְתָּ. טותָּמִים אַתָּה בִּדְרָכֶיךָ מִיּוֹם הִבָּרְאָךְ עַד נִמְצָא עַוְלָתָה בָּךְ. טזבְּרֹב רְכֻלָּתְךָ מָלוּ תוֹכְךָ חָמָס וַתֶּחֱטָא; וָאֲחַלֶּלְךָ מֵהַר אֱלֹהִים וָאַבֶּדְךָ כְּרוּב הַסֹּכֵךְ מִתּוֹךְ אַבְנֵי אֵשׁ. יזגָּבַהּ לִבְּךָ בְּיָפְיֶךָ שִׁחַתָּ חָכְמָתְךָ עַל יִפְעָתֶךָ; עַל אֶרֶץ הִשְׁלַכְתִּיךָ לִפְנֵי מְלָכִים נְתַתִּיךָ לְרַאֲוָה בָךְ. יחמֵרֹב עֲוֹנֶיךָ בְּעֶוֶל רְכֻלָּתְךָ חִלַּלְתָּ מִקְדָּשֶׁיךָ; וָאוֹצִא אֵשׁ מִתּוֹכְךָ הִיא אֲכָלַתְךָ וָאֶתֶּנְךָ לְאֵפֶר עַל הָאָרֶץ לְעֵינֵי כָּל רֹאֶיךָ. יטכָּל יוֹדְעֶיךָ בָּעַמִּים שָׁמְמוּ עָלֶיךָ; בַּלָּהוֹת הָיִיתָ וְאֵינְךָ עַד עוֹלָם.
כוַיְהִי דְבַר יהוה אֵלַי לֵאמֹר, כאבֶּן אָדָם שִׂים פָּנֶיךָ אֶל צִידוֹן וְהִנָּבֵא עָלֶיהָ. כבוְאָמַרְתָּ כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יהוה הִנְנִי עָלַיִךְ צִידוֹן וְנִכְבַּדְתִּי בְּתוֹכֵךְ; וְיָדְעוּ כִּי אֲנִי יהוה בַּעֲשׂוֹתִי בָהּ שְׁפָטִים וְנִקְדַּשְׁתִּי בָהּ. כגוְשִׁלַּחְתִּי בָהּ דֶּבֶר וָדָם בְּחוּצוֹתֶיהָ וְנִפְלַל חָלָל בְּתוֹכָהּ בְּחֶרֶב עָלֶיהָ מִסָּבִיב; וְיָדְעוּ כִּי אֲנִי יהוה . כדוְלֹא יִהְיֶה עוֹד לְבֵית יִשְׂרָאֵל סִלּוֹן מַמְאִיר וְקוֹץ מַכְאִב מִכֹּל סְבִיבֹתָם הַשָּׁאטִים אוֹתָם; וְיָדְעוּ כִּי אֲנִי אֲדֹנָי יהוה .
כהכֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יהוה בְּקַבְּצִי אֶת בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל מִן הָעַמִּים אֲשֶׁר נָפֹצוּ בָם וְנִקְדַּשְׁתִּי בָם לְעֵינֵי הַגּוֹיִם; וְיָשְׁבוּ עַל אַדְמָתָם אֲשֶׁר נָתַתִּי לְעַבְדִּי לְיַעֲקֹב. כווְיָשְׁבוּ עָלֶיהָ לָבֶטַח וּבָנוּ בָתִּים וְנָטְעוּ כְרָמִים וְיָשְׁבוּ לָבֶטַח: בַּעֲשׂוֹתִי שְׁפָטִים בְּכֹל הַשָּׁאטִים אֹתָם מִסְּבִיבוֹתָם וְיָדְעוּ כִּי אֲנִי יהוה אֱלֹהֵיהֶם.
