1Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looks toward the east; 2and, behold, the Kavod Elohei Yisra’el came from the way of the east; and His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth did shine with His Kavod. 3And the appearance of the vision which I saw was like the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city; and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river K’var; and I fell upon my face. 4And the Kavod יהוה came into HaBa’it by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east. 5And a ru’akh took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the Kavod יהוה filled HaBa’it. 6And I heard one speaking unto me out of HaBa’it; and a man stood by me. 7And He said unto me, “Ben Adam, this is the place of My throne, and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell in the midst of B’nei Yisra’el forever; and Beit Yisra’el shall no more defile My kadosh Name, neither they, nor their kings, by their harlotry, and by the carcasses of their kings in their high places; 8in their setting of their threshold by My threshold, and their door-post beside My door-post, and there was but the wall between Me and them; and they have defiled My kadosh Name by their abominations which they have committed; therefore I have consumed them in My anger. 9Now let them put away their harlotry, and the carcasses of their kings, far from Me, and I will dwell in the midst of them forever. Tetzaveh 10You, Ben Adam, show HaBa’it to Beit Yisra’el, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure accurately. 11And if they are ashamed of all that they have done, make known unto them the form of HaBa’it, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the instructions thereof, and write it in their sight; that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them. 12This is the instruction of HaBa’it: upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be Kodesh HaKadashim. Behold, this is the instruction of HaBa’it. 13And these are the measures of the Mizbe’akh by cubits, the cubit is a cubit and a handbreadth: the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about a span; and this shall be the base of the Mizbe’akh. 14And from the bottom upon the ground to the lower settle shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth a cubit. 15And the hearth shall be four cubits; and from the hearth and upward there shall be four horns. 16And the hearth shall be twelve cubits long by twelve broad, square in the four sides thereof. 17And the settle shall be fourteen cubits long by fourteen broad in the four sides thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit about; and the steps thereof shall look toward the east.'” 18And He said unto me, “Ben Adam, thus says Adonai יהוה , ‘These are the ordinances of the Mizbe’akh in the day when they shall make it, to offer Olot thereon, and to dash blood against it. 19You shall give to the Kohanim, the Levi’im that are of the seed of Tzadok, who are near unto Me, to minister unto Me, says Adonai יהוה , a young bullock for a Khatat. 20And you shall take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about; thus shall you purify it and make atonement for it. 21You shall also take the bullock of the Khatat, and it shall be burnt in the appointed place of HaBa’it, without the Mikdash. 22And on the second day you shall offer a he-goat without blemish for a Khatat; and they shall purify the Mizbe’akh, as they did purify it with the bullock. 23When you have made an end of purifying it, you shall offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish. 24And you shall present them before יהוה , and the Kohanim shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for an Olah unto יהוה . Seven25 days shall you prepare every day a goat for a Khatat; they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish. 26Seven days shall they make atonement for the Mizbe’akh and cleanse it; so shall they consecrate it. 27And when they have accomplished the days, it shall be that upon the eighth day, and forward, the Kohanim shall make your Olot upon the Mizbe’akh, and your Sh’lamim; and I will accept you, says Adonai יהוה .'” end Tetzaveh
אוַיּוֹלִכֵנִי אֶל הַשָּׁעַר שַׁעַר אֲשֶׁר פֹּנֶה דֶּרֶךְ הַקָּדִים. בוְהִנֵּה כְּבוֹד אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בָּא מִדֶּרֶךְ הַקָּדִים; וְקוֹלוֹ כְּקוֹל מַיִם רַבִּים וְהָאָרֶץ הֵאִירָה מִכְּבֹדוֹ. גוּכְמַרְאֵה הַמַּרְאֶה אֲשֶׁר רָאִיתִי כַּמַּרְאֶה אֲשֶׁר רָאִיתִי בְּבֹאִי לְשַׁחֵת אֶת הָעִיר וּמַרְאוֹת כַּמַּרְאֶה אֲשֶׁר רָאִיתִי אֶל נְהַר כְּבָר; וָאֶפֹּל אֶל פָּנָי. דוּכְבוֹד יהוה בָּא אֶל הַבָּיִת דֶּרֶךְ שַׁעַר אֲשֶׁר פָּנָיו דֶּרֶךְ הַקָּדִים. הוַתִּשָּׂאֵנִי רוּחַ וַתְּבִאֵנִי אֶל הֶחָצֵר הַפְּנִימִי; וְהִנֵּה מָלֵא כְבוֹד יהוה הַבָּיִת. ווָאֶשְׁמַע מִדַּבֵּר אֵלַי מֵהַבָּיִת; וְאִישׁ הָיָה עֹמֵד אֶצְלִי. זוַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי בֶּן אָדָם אֶת מְקוֹם כִּסְאִי וְאֶת מְקוֹם כַּפּוֹת רַגְלַי אֲשֶׁר אֶשְׁכָּן שָׁם בְּתוֹךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לְעוֹלָם; וְלֹא יְטַמְּאוּ עוֹד בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל שֵׁם קָדְשִׁי הֵמָּה וּמַלְכֵיהֶם בִּזְנוּתָם וּבְפִגְרֵי מַלְכֵיהֶם בָּמוֹתָם. חבְּתִתָּם סִפָּם אֶת סִפִּי וּמְזוּזָתָם אֵצֶל מְזוּזָתִי וְהַקִּיר בֵּינִי וּבֵינֵיהֶם; וְטִמְּאוּ אֶת שֵׁם קָדְשִׁי בְּתוֹעֲבוֹתָם אֲשֶׁר עָשׂוּ וָאֲכַל אֹתָם בְּאַפִּי. טעַתָּה יְרַחֲקוּ אֶת זְנוּתָם וּפִגְרֵי מַלְכֵיהֶם מִמֶּנִּי; וְשָׁכַנְתִּי בְתוֹכָם לְעוֹלָם. יאַתָּה בֶן אָדָם הַגֵּד אֶת בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת הַבַּיִת וְיִכָּלְמוּ מֵעֲוֹנוֹתֵיהֶם; וּמָדְדוּ אֶת תָּכְנִית. יאוְאִם נִכְלְמוּ מִכֹּל אֲשֶׁר עָשׂוּ צוּרַת הַבַּיִת וּתְכוּנָתוֹ וּמוֹצָאָיו וּמוֹבָאָיו וְכָל צוּרֹתָו וְאֵת כָּל חֻקֹּתָיו וְכָל צוּרֹתָו וְכָל תּוֹרֹתָו הוֹדַע אוֹתָם וּכְתֹב לְעֵינֵיהֶם; וְיִשְׁמְרוּ אֶת כָּל צוּרָתוֹ וְאֶת כָּל חֻקֹּתָיו וְעָשׂוּ אוֹתָם. יבזֹאת תּוֹרַת הַבָּיִת: עַל רֹאשׁ הָהָר כָּל גְּבֻלוֹ סָבִיב סָבִיב קֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁים הִנֵּה זֹאת תּוֹרַת הַבָּיִת. יגוְאֵלֶּה מִדּוֹת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ בָּאַמּוֹת אַמָּה אַמָּה וָטֹפַח; וְחֵיק הָאַמָּה וְאַמָּה רֹחַב וּגְבוּלָהּ אֶל שְׂפָתָהּ סָבִיב זֶרֶת הָאֶחָד וְזֶה גַּב הַמִּזְבֵּחַ. ידוּמֵחֵיק הָאָרֶץ עַד הָעֲזָרָה הַתַּחְתּוֹנָה שְׁתַּיִם אַמּוֹת וְרֹחַב אַמָּה אֶחָת; וּמֵהָעֲזָרָה הַקְּטַנָּה עַד הָעֲזָרָה הַגְּדוֹלָה אַרְבַּע אַמּוֹת וְרֹחַב הָאַמָּה. טווְהַהַרְאֵל אַרְבַּע אַמּוֹת; וּמֵהָאֲרִאֵיל וּלְמַעְלָה הַקְּרָנוֹת אַרְבַּע. טזוְהָאֲרִאֵיל שְׁתֵּים עֶשְׂרֵה אֹרֶךְ בִּשְׁתֵּים עֶשְׂרֵה רֹחַב: רָבוּעַ אֶל אַרְבַּעַת רְבָעָיו. יזוְהָעֲזָרָה אַרְבַּע עֶשְׂרֵה אֹרֶךְ בְּאַרְבַּע עֶשְׂרֵה רֹחַב אֶל אַרְבַּעַת רְבָעֶיהָ; וְהַגְּבוּל סָבִיב אוֹתָהּ חֲצִי הָאַמָּה וְהַחֵיק לָהּ אַמָּה סָבִיב וּמַעֲלֹתֵהוּ פְּנוֹת קָדִים. יחוַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי בֶּן אָדָם כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יהוה אֵלֶּה חֻקּוֹת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ בְּיוֹם הֵעָשׂוֹתוֹ לְהַעֲלוֹת עָלָיו עוֹלָה וְלִזְרֹק עָלָיו דָּם. יטוְנָתַתָּה אֶל הַכֹּהֲנִים הַלְוִיִּם אֲשֶׁר הֵם מִזֶּרַע צָדוֹק הַקְּרֹבִים אֵלַי נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יהוה לְשָׁרְתֵנִי: פַּר בֶּן בָּקָר לְחַטָּאת. כוְלָקַחְתָּ מִדָּמוֹ וְנָתַתָּה עַל אַרְבַּע קַרְנֹתָיו וְאֶל אַרְבַּע פִּנּוֹת הָעֲזָרָה וְאֶל הַגְּבוּל סָבִיב; וְחִטֵּאתָ אוֹתוֹ וְכִפַּרְתָּהוּ. כאוְלָקַחְתָּ אֵת הַפָּר הַחַטָּאת; וּשְׂרָפוֹ בְּמִפְקַד הַבַּיִת מִחוּץ לַמִּקְדָּשׁ. כבוּבַיּוֹם הַשֵּׁנִי תַּקְרִיב שְׂעִיר עִזִּים תָּמִים לְחַטָּאת; וְחִטְּאוּ אֶת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ כַּאֲשֶׁר חִטְּאוּ בַּפָּר. כגבְּכַלּוֹתְךָ מֵחַטֵּא תַּקְרִיב פַּר בֶּן בָּקָר תָּמִים וְאַיִל מִן הַצֹּאן תָּמִים. כדוְהִקְרַבְתָּם לִפְנֵי יהוה ; וְהִשְׁלִיכוּ הַכֹּהֲנִים עֲלֵיהֶם מֶלַח וְהֶעֱלוּ אוֹתָם עֹלָה לַיהוה . כהשִׁבְעַת יָמִים תַּעֲשֶׂה שְׂעִיר חַטָּאת לַיּוֹם; וּפַר בֶּן בָּקָר וְאַיִל מִן הַצֹּאן תְּמִימִים יַעֲשׂוּ. כושִׁבְעַת יָמִים יְכַפְּרוּ אֶת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְטִהֲרוּ אֹתוֹ; וּמִלְאוּ יָדָו. כזוִיכַלּוּ אֶת הַיָּמִים; וְהָיָה בַיּוֹם הַשְּׁמִינִי וָהָלְאָה יַעֲשׂוּ הַכֹּהֲנִים עַל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ אֶת עוֹלוֹתֵיכֶם וְאֶת שַׁלְמֵיכֶם וְרָצִאתִי אֶתְכֶם נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יהוה .
