1D’var יהוה came also unto me, saying, 2“You shall not take yourself a wife, neither shall you have sons or daughters in this place. 3For thus says יהוה concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bore them, and concerning their fathers that begot them in this land: 4they shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented, neither shall they be buried, they shall be as dung upon the face of the ground; and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcasses shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth. 5For thus says יהוה , ‘Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament, neither bemoan them; for I have taken away My shalom from this people, says יהוה , even compassion and mercy. 6Both the great and the small shall die in this land; they shall not be buried; neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them; 7neither shall men break bread for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother. 8And you shall not go into the house of feasting to sit with them, to eat and to drink’.”
9“For thus says יהוה Tzeva’ot, Elohei Yisra’el, ‘Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place, before your eyes and in your days, the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride. 10And it shall come to pass, when you shall tell this people all these words, and they shall say unto you, “Why has יהוה pronounced all this great evil against us? Or what is our iniquity? Or what is our sin that we have committed against יהוה our Elohim?’ 11Then shall you say unto them, ‘Because your fathers have forsaken Me, says יהוה , and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken Me, and have not kept My Torah; 12and you have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, you walk, every one, after the stubbornness of his evil heart, so that you hearken not unto Me; 13therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that you have not known, neither you nor your fathers; and there shall you serve other gods day and night; forasmuch as I will show you no favor’.”
14“Therefore, behold, the days come, says יהוה , that it shall no more be said, ‘As יהוה lives, that brought up B’nei Yisra’el out of the land of Mitzrayim,’ 15but, ‘As יהוה lives, that brought up B’nei Yisra’el from the land of the north, and from all the countries where He had driven them’; and I will bring them back into their land that I gave unto their fathers.”
16“Behold, I will send for many fishers, says יהוה , and they shall fish them; and afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the clefts of the rocks. 17For My eyes are upon all their ways, they are not hid from My face; neither is their iniquity concealed from My eyes. 18And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin, double; because they have profaned My land; they have filled My inheritance with the carcasses of their detestable things, and their abominations.”
B’Khukotai 19“O יהוה , my strength and my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of affliction, unto You shall the nations come from the ends of the earth, and shall say, ‘Our fathers have inherited nought but lies, vanity and things wherein there is no profit’. 20Shall a man make unto himself gods, and they are not gods? 21Therefore, behold, I will cause them to know, this once will I cause them to know My hand and My might; and they shall know that My Name is יהוה .”
אוַיְהִי דְבַר יהוה אֵלַי לֵאמֹר, בלֹא תִקַּח לְךָ אִשָּׁה; וְלֹא יִהְיוּ לְךָ בָּנִים וּבָנוֹת בַּמָּקוֹם הַזֶּה. גכִּי כֹה אָמַר יהוה עַל הַבָּנִים וְעַל הַבָּנוֹת הַיִּלּוֹדִים בַּמָּקוֹם הַזֶּה; וְעַל אִמֹּתָם הַיֹּלְדוֹת אוֹתָם וְעַל אֲבוֹתָם הַמּוֹלִדִים אוֹתָם בָּאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת. דמְמוֹתֵי תַחֲלֻאִים יָמֻתוּ לֹא יִסָּפְדוּ וְלֹא יִקָּבֵרוּ לְדֹמֶן עַל פְּנֵי הָאֲדָמָה יִהְיוּ; וּבַחֶרֶב וּבָרָעָב יִכְלוּ וְהָיְתָה נִבְלָתָם לְמַאֲכָל לְעוֹף הַשָּׁמַיִם וּלְבֶהֱמַת הָאָרֶץ. הכִּי כֹה אָמַר יהוה אַל תָּבוֹא בֵּית מַרְזֵחַ וְאַל תֵּלֵךְ לִסְפּוֹד וְאַל תָּנֹד לָהֶם: כִּי אָסַפְתִּי אֶת שְׁלוֹמִי מֵאֵת הָעָם הַזֶּה נְאֻם יהוה אֶת הַחֶסֶד וְאֶת הָרַחֲמִים. ווּמֵתוּ גְדֹלִים וּקְטַנִּים בָּאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת לֹא יִקָּבֵרוּ; וְלֹא יִסְפְּדוּ לָהֶם וְלֹא יִתְגֹּדַד וְלֹא יִקָּרֵחַ לָהֶם. זוְלֹא יִפְרְסוּ לָהֶם עַל אֵבֶל לְנַחֲמוֹ עַל מֵת; וְלֹא יַשְׁקוּ אוֹתָם כּוֹס תַּנְחוּמִים עַל אָבִיו וְעַל אִמּוֹ. חוּבֵית מִשְׁתֶּה לֹא תָבוֹא לָשֶׁבֶת אוֹתָם לֶאֱכֹל וְלִשְׁתּוֹת.
טכִּי כֹה אָמַר יהוה צְבָאוֹת אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הִנְנִי מַשְׁבִּית מִן הַמָּקוֹם הַזֶּה לְעֵינֵיכֶם וּבִימֵיכֶם קוֹל שָׂשׂוֹן וְקוֹל שִׂמְחָה קוֹל חָתָן וְקוֹל כַּלָּה. יוְהָיָה כִּי תַגִּיד לָעָם הַזֶּה אֵת כָּל הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה; וְאָמְרוּ אֵלֶיךָ עַל מֶה דִבֶּר יהוה עָלֵינוּ אֵת כָּל הָרָעָה הַגְּדוֹלָה הַזֹּאת וּמֶה עֲוֹנֵנוּ וּמֶה חַטָּאתֵנוּ אֲשֶׁר חָטָאנוּ לַיהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ. יאוְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵיהֶם עַל אֲשֶׁר עָזְבוּ אֲבוֹתֵיכֶם אוֹתִי נְאֻם יהוה וַיֵּלְכוּ אַחֲרֵי אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים וַיַּעַבְדוּם וַיִּשְׁתַּחֲווּ לָהֶם; וְאֹתִי עָזָבוּ וְאֶת תּוֹרָתִי לֹא שָׁמָרוּ. יבוְאַתֶּם הֲרֵעֹתֶם לַעֲשׂוֹת מֵאֲבוֹתֵיכֶם; וְהִנְּכֶם הֹלְכִים אִישׁ אַחֲרֵי שְׁרִרוּת לִבּוֹ הָרָע לְבִלְתִּי שְׁמֹעַ אֵלָי. יגוְהֵטַלְתִּי אֶתְכֶם מֵעַל הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת עַל הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר לֹא יְדַעְתֶּם אַתֶּם וַאֲבוֹתֵיכֶם; וַעֲבַדְתֶּם שָׁם אֶת אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים יוֹמָם וָלַיְלָה אֲשֶׁר לֹא אֶתֵּן לָכֶם חֲנִינָה.
ידלָכֵן הִנֵּה יָמִים בָּאִים נְאֻם יהוה ; וְלֹא יֵאָמֵר עוֹד חַי יהוה אֲשֶׁר הֶעֱלָה אֶת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם. טוכִּי אִם חַי יהוה אֲשֶׁר הֶעֱלָה אֶת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאֶרֶץ צָפוֹן וּמִכֹּל הָאֲרָצוֹת אֲשֶׁר הִדִּיחָם שָׁמָּה; וַהֲשִׁבֹתִים עַל אַדְמָתָם אֲשֶׁר נָתַתִּי לַאֲבוֹתָם.
טזהִנְנִי שֹׁלֵחַ לדוגים (לְדַיָּגִים) רַבִּים נְאֻם יהוה וְדִיגוּם; וְאַחֲרֵי כֵן אֶשְׁלַח לְרַבִּים צַיָּדִים וְצָדוּם מֵעַל כָּל הַר וּמֵעַל כָּל גִּבְעָה וּמִנְּקִיקֵי הַסְּלָעִים. יזכִּי עֵינַי עַל כָּל דַּרְכֵיהֶם לֹא נִסְתְּרוּ מִלְּפָנָי; וְלֹא נִצְפַּן עֲוֹנָם מִנֶּגֶד עֵינָי. יחוְשִׁלַּמְתִּי רִאשׁוֹנָה מִשְׁנֵה עֲוֹנָם וְחַטָּאתָם עַל חַלְּלָם אֶת אַרְצִי: בְּנִבְלַת שִׁקּוּצֵיהֶם וְתוֹעֲבוֹתֵיהֶם מָלְאוּ אֶת נַחֲלָתִי.
יט יהוה עֻזִּי וּמָעֻזִּי וּמְנוּסִי בְּיוֹם צָרָה; אֵלֶיךָ גּוֹיִם יָבֹאוּ מֵאַפְסֵי אָרֶץ וְיֹאמְרוּ אַךְ שֶׁקֶר נָחֲלוּ אֲבוֹתֵינוּ הֶבֶל וְאֵין בָּם מוֹעִיל. כהֲיַעֲשֶׂה לּוֹ אָדָם אֱלֹהִים; וְהֵמָּה לֹא אֱלֹהִים. כאלָכֵן הִנְנִי מוֹדִיעָם בַּפַּעַם הַזֹּאת אוֹדִיעֵם אֶת יָדִי וְאֶת גְּבוּרָתִי; וְיָדְעוּ כִּי שְׁמִי יהוה .
