1And again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between the two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass. 2In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses; 3and in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grizzled bay horses. 4Then I answered and said unto the Malakh that spoke with me, “What are these, my Adon?” 5And the Malakh answered and said unto me, ”These chariots go forth to the four winds of heaven, after presenting themselves before the Adon of all the earth. 6That wherein are the black horses goes forth toward the north country; and the white went forth after them; and the grizzled went forth toward the south country; 7and the bay went forth”. And they sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth; and he said, “Get away from here, walk to and fro through the earth.” So they walked to and fro through the earth. 8Then he cried upon me, and spoke unto me, saying, “Behold, they that go toward the north country have eased My Ru’akh in the north country.” 9And the D’var יהוה came unto me, saying, 10“Take of them of the captivity, even of Kheldai, of Tovi-Yah, and of Yeda-Yah, that are come from Bavel; and come the same day, and go into the house of Yoshi-Yah Ben Tzefan-Yah; 11yes, take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set the one upon the head of Yehoshua Ben Yehotzadak, The Kohen HaGadol; 12and speak unto him, saying, ‘Thus speaks יהוה Tzeva’ot, saying, ‘Behold, a man whose name is ‘Tzemakh’, and who shall shoot up out of his place, and build the Heikhal יהוה ; even13 he shall build the Heikhal יהוה ; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and there shall be a Kohen before his throne; and the counsel of Shalom shall be between them both. 14And the crowns shall be to Khelem, and to Tovi-Yah, and to Yeda-Yah, and to Khen Ben Tzefan-Yah, as a memorial in the Heikhal יהוה . And15 they that are far off shall come and build in the Heikhal יהוה , and you shall know that יהוה Tzeva’ot has sent me unto you. And it shall come to pass, if you will diligently hearken to the voice of יהוה your Elohim’.”
אוָאָשֻׁב וָאֶשָּׂא עֵינַי וָאֶרְאֶה וְהִנֵּה אַרְבַּע מַרְכָּבוֹת יֹצְאוֹת מִבֵּין שְׁנֵי הֶהָרִים; וְהֶהָרִים הָרֵי נְחֹשֶׁת. בבַּמֶּרְכָּבָה הָרִאשֹׁנָה סוּסִים אֲדֻמִּים; וּבַמֶּרְכָּבָה הַשֵּׁנִית סוּסִים שְׁחֹרִים. גוּבַמֶּרְכָּבָה הַשְּׁלִשִׁית סוּסִים לְבָנִים; וּבַמֶּרְכָּבָה הָרְבִעִית סוּסִים בְּרֻדִּים אֲמֻצִּים. דוָאַעַן וָאֹמַר אֶל הַמַּלְאָךְ הַדֹּבֵר בִּי: מָה אֵלֶּה אֲדֹנִי. הוַיַּעַן הַמַּלְאָךְ וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָי: אֵלֶּה אַרְבַּע רוּחוֹת הַשָּׁמַיִם יוֹצְאוֹת מֵהִתְיַצֵּב עַל אֲדוֹן כָּל הָאָרֶץ. ואֲשֶׁר בָּהּ הַסּוּסִים הַשְּׁחֹרִים יֹצְאִים אֶל אֶרֶץ צָפוֹן וְהַלְּבָנִים יָצְאוּ אֶל אַחֲרֵיהֶם; וְהַבְּרֻדִּים יָצְאוּ אֶל אֶרֶץ הַתֵּימָן. זוְהָאֲמֻצִּים יָצְאוּ וַיְבַקְשׁוּ לָלֶכֶת לְהִתְהַלֵּךְ בָּאָרֶץ וַיֹּאמֶר לְכוּ הִתְהַלְּכוּ בָאָרֶץ; וַתִּתְהַלַּכְנָה בָּאָרֶץ. חוַיַּזְעֵק אֹתִי וַיְדַבֵּר אֵלַי לֵאמֹר: רְאֵה הַיּוֹצְאִים אֶל אֶרֶץ צָפוֹן הֵנִיחוּ אֶת רוּחִי בְּאֶרֶץ צָפוֹן. טוַיְהִי דְבַר יהוה אֵלַי לֵאמֹר, ילָקוֹחַ מֵאֵת הַגּוֹלָה מֵחֶלְדַּי וּמֵאֵת טוֹבִיָּה וּמֵאֵת יְדַעְיָה; וּבָאתָ אַתָּה בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא וּבָאתָ בֵּית יֹאשִׁיָּה בֶן צְפַנְיָה אֲשֶׁר בָּאוּ מִבָּבֶל. יאוְלָקַחְתָּ כֶסֶף וְזָהָב וְעָשִׂיתָ עֲטָרוֹת; וְשַׂמְתָּ בְּרֹאשׁ יְהוֹשֻׁעַ בֶּן יְהוֹצָדָק הַכֹּהֵן הַגָּדוֹל. יבוְאָמַרְתָּ אֵלָיו לֵאמֹר כֹּה אָמַר יהוה צְבָאוֹת לֵאמֹר: הִנֵּה אִישׁ צֶמַח שְׁמוֹ וּמִתַּחְתָּיו יִצְמָח וּבָנָה אֶת הֵיכַל יהוה . יגוְהוּא יִבְנֶה אֶת הֵיכַל יהוה וְהוּא יִשָּׂא הוֹד וְיָשַׁב וּמָשַׁל עַל כִּסְאוֹ; וְהָיָה כֹהֵן עַל כִּסְאוֹ וַעֲצַת שָׁלוֹם תִּהְיֶה בֵּין שְׁנֵיהֶם. ידוְהָעֲטָרֹת תִּהְיֶה לְחֵלֶם וּלְטוֹבִיָּה וְלִידַעְיָה וּלְחֵן בֶּן צְפַנְיָה לְזִכָּרוֹן בְּהֵיכַל יהוה . טווּרְחוֹקִים יָבֹאוּ וּבָנוּ בְּהֵיכַל יהוה וִידַעְתֶּם כִּי יהוה צְבָאוֹת שְׁלָחַנִי אֲלֵיכֶם; וְהָיָה אִם שָׁמוֹעַ תִּשְׁמְעוּן בְּקוֹל יהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם.
