Galatim 1 – איגרת שאול אל הגלאטים א

t.o.c.

1Pavlos, a Shali’akh, not sent by men nor appointed by man, but by Yeshua HaMashi’akh, and Elohim HaAv, who raised Him from the dead, 2and all the brethren who are with me, to the congregations of Galatiya:  3Compassion to you and shalom from Elohim HaAv, and from Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi’akh, 4who gave Himself for our sins that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of Elohim Avinu; 5to whom be glory forever and ever. Amein.

6I am surprised how soon you have turned to another “good news,” away from Mashi’akh, who has called you by His compassion, 7a good news which does not even exist; howbeit, there are men who have stirred you up and want to pervert HaB’sorah of Mashi’akh.  8But though we or a messenger from heaven declare any other b’sorah to you than that which we have declared to you, let him be accursed.  9As I have said before, so say I now again, if any man declares any other b’sorah to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.

10Do I now persuade men, or Elohim? Or do I seek to please men? For, if I tried to please men, I would not be a servant of Mashi’akh.  11But I want you to know, my brethren, that HaB’sorah which I declared was not from men.  12For I did not receive it nor learn it from man, but through the revelation of Yeshua HaMashi’akh.  13You have heard of the manner of my life in time past in the religion of the Y’hudim, how beyond measure I persecuted the assembly of Elohim and tried to destroy it; 14and how that I was far more advanced in the religion of the Y’hudim than many of my age among the people of my race; for above all, I was especially zealous for the doctrines of my forefathers.  15But when it pleased Elohim, who had chosen me from my birth and called me by His compassion 16to reveal His Son to me, that I might declare Him among the Goyim, I did not immediately disclose it to any human being, 17neither did I go up to Yerushalayim to them who had been Shlikhim before me; but instead I went to Arabia and returned again to Damesek.  18Then after three years I went up to Yerushalayim to see Kefa, and stayed with him fifteen days.  19But I did not see any one of the other Shlikhim, except Ya’akov, the brother of Adoneinu.  20Now the things which I write to you, behold, I testify before Elohim, I do not lie.  21After that I went to the regions of Surya and Cilicia; 22and I was unknown by face to the congregations of Mashi’akh in Y’hudah.  23For they had heard only this much: that he who had persecuted us before now declared HaEmunah which previously he tried to destroy.  24And they praised Elohim because of me.
