Ivrim 13 – איגרת שאול אל העברים יג

t.o.c.

1Let brotherly love remain in you.  2And forget not hospitality toward strangers; for thereby some have been worthy to entertain Malakhim, not knowing it!  3Remember those who are in prison, as though you were a prisoner with them; remember those who suffer adversity, for you are as men, clothed in a body.  4Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but Elohim will judge those who practice vice and adultery. 5Do not be carried away by the love of money, but be content with what you have, for  יהוה  Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”  6So that we may boldly say, ” יהוה is my helper, and I will not fear what man may do to me.”  7Remember those who are your leaders, those who have spoken the D’var HaElohim to you; mark the completeness of their works, and imitate their Emunah.  8Yeshua HaMashi’akh is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

9Do not be carried away by strange and various doctrines.  For it is a good thing to strengthen our hearts with compassion; not with foods, because it did not help those who greatly sought after it.  10We have a Mizbe’akh from which those who minister in the Mishkan have no right to eat.  11For the flesh of the beasts whose blood is brought into the Beit HaMikdash by The Kohen HaGadol for sin is burned outside the camp.  12Therefore Yeshua also, that He might consecrate His people with His own blood, suffered outside the city.  13Let us go forth therefore to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach.  14For here we have not a permanent city, but we seek one to come.  15By Him, therefore, let us always offer the sacrifice of praise to Elohim, that is, the fruit of lips giving thanks to His Name.  16And do not forget mercies and fellowship with the poor; for with such sacrifices Elohim is well pleased.  17Listen to your spiritual leaders and obey them; for they are watchful guardians of your souls, as one who must give account, that they may do it with joy and not with grief, for that is unprofitable for you.

18Pray for us; for we trust we have a good conscience, being in all things willing to live honestly.  19But above all, I beseech you to do this, that I may return to you sooner.  20Now the Elohim of shalom who brought up from the dead Adoneinu Yeshua, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the Brit Olam, 21make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in us that which is well pleasing in His sight, through Yeshua HaMashi’akh; to whom be glory forever and ever. Amein.  22And I beseech you, my brethren, to be patient in the D’var HaNekhamah, for I have written you very briefly.  23You should know that our brother Timoteus has been set at liberty; and if he should come shortly, I will see you together with him.  24Send shalom to all those who lead you, 25and shalom to all the K’doshim.  All of the brethren of Italy salute you. Compassion be with you all.  Amein.
