Korintim Alef 1 – איגרת שאול אהראשונה אל הקורינתים א

t.o.c.

1Pavlos, called to be a Shali’akh of Yeshua HaMashi’akh through the will of Elohim, and brother Sosthenes, 2to the assembly of Elohim which is at Korintos, the invited and K’doshim who are consecrated by Yeshua HaMashi’akh, and to all of them in every place who invoke the Name of Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi’akh, both theirs and ours: 3Compassion to you and shalom from Elohim Avinu, and from Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi’akh.  4I thank my Elohim always on your behalf, for the compassion of Elohim that has been given to you by Yeshua HaMashi’akh; 5for in everything you are enriched by Him in all utterance and in all knowledge; 6because the testimony of Mashi’akh has been confirmed in you, 7and you do not lack any of His gifts, but wait for the manifestation of Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi’akh, 8who will also strengthen you to the end, so that you may be blameless in the day of Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi’akh.  9Elohim, by whom you have been called to the fellowship of His Son Yeshua HaMashi’akh Adoneinu, is trustworthy.

10Now I beseech you, my brethren, in the Name of Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi’akh, to be of one accord, and let there be no divisions among you, but be perfectly united in one mind and in one thought.  11For I have been informed about you, my brethren, by the household of Chloe, that there are disputes among you.  12Now this I say because there are some among you who say, “I am a follower of Pavlos;” and some who say, “I am a follower of Apollos;” and some who say, “I am a follower of Kefa;” and some who say, “I am a follower of Mashi’akh.”  13Is Mashi’akh divided?  Or was Pavlos executed for you?  Or were you immersed in the name of Pavlos?

14I confess to my Elohim that I have immersed none of you except Crispus and Gaius, 15so no man can say that I have immersed in my own name.  16And I immersed also the household of Stephanas. I do not know whether I have immersed anyone else.  17For Mashi’akh did not send me to immerse but to declare HaB’sorah; and not to rely on the wisdom of words, lest the execution stake of Mashi’akh should be insufficient.  18For the declaration of the execution stake [of Mashi’akh], to those who have gone astray, is foolishness; but to us who are made alive it is the power of Elohim.  19For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will do away with the understanding of the prudent.”  20Where is the wise? Where is the Sofer? Where is the learned of this world? Has not Elohim made foolish the wisdom of this world?  21Because all the wisdom which Elohim had given was not sufficient for the world to know Elohim, it pleased Elohim to save those who trust by the folly of proclamation.  22For the Y’hudim demand signs, and the Arame’ans seek after wisdom; 23but we proclaim Mashi’akh executed, which is a stumbling block to the Y’hudim and foolishness to the Arame’ans; 24but for those who are called, both Yehudim and Arame’ans, Mashi’akh is the power of Elohim and the wisdom of Elohim; 25because the foolishness of Elohim is wiser than men, and the weakness of Elohim is stronger than men.

26For consider also your own calling, my brethren: not many among you are wise in terms of worldly things, and not many among you are mighty, and not many among you belong to the nobility.  27But Elohim has chosen the foolish ones of the world to put the wise to shame; and Elohim has chosen the weak ones of the world to embarrass the mighty; 28and He has chosen those of humble families in the world, and the lowly, and those who are insignificant, in order to belittle those who consider themselves important, 29so that no man should boast in His presence.  30But you also belong to Elohim through Yeshua HaMashi’akh, who, from Elohim, is khakhmah, and tzedaka, and k’dushah, and pedut, to all of us.  31As it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in  יהוה .”
