Korintim Alef 2 – איגרת שאול הראשונה אל הקורינתים ב

t.o.c.

1And I, my brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech, nor did I declare to you the Sod of Elohim in wisdom.  2For I did not pretend to know anything among you except Yeshua HaMashi’akh, and Him executed on the stake.  3And I was with you with much reverence for Elohim and in trembling.  4And my speech and my declaration were not with enticing words of wisdom, but in demonstration of HaRu’akh and of power, 5so that your trust might not rest in the wisdom of men, but in the power of Elohim.

6But we do discuss wisdom with those who have comprehension, yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the rulers of this world who pass away; 7but we discuss the wisdom of Elohim shown in a mysterious way, and it is hidden, but Elohim ordained it before the world for our glory.  8This none of the rulers of the world knew; for had they known it, they would not have executed the Adon HaKavod.  9But as it is written, “The eye has not seen, and the ear has not heard, and it has not entered the heart of man the things which Elohim has prepared for those who love Him.”  10But Elohim has revealed them to us by His Ru’akh; for HaRu’akh searches everything, even the depths of Elohim.  11For what man knows the mind of man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the mind of Elohim except Ru’akh HaElohim.  12Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but HaRu’akh that is from Elohim, that we may understand the gifts that are given to us by Elohim.  13For the things which we discuss are not dependent on the knowledge of words and man’s wisdom, but on the teaching of HaRu’akh; thus explaining spiritual things to the spiritually minded.  14For the natural man rejects spiritual things; they are foolishness to him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  15But the spiritual man discerns everything, and yet no man can discern him.  16For who knows the mind of  יהוה  that he may teach it?  But we have the mind of Mashi’akh.
