1So I, my brethren, could not converse with you as with spiritual men, but as with worldly men, and even as with little children in Mashi’akh. 2I have fed you with milk, and not with meat; for hitherto you were unable to eat it, and even now you are not ready for it, 3because you are still worldly; for as long as there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are you not worldly and still following the material things? 4For while one says, ‘I am a follower of Pavlos,’ and another, ‘I am a follower of Apollos,’ are you not worldly? 5Who, then, is Pavlos, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you came to trust, each one as יהוה gave to him? 6I have planted, Apollos watered, but Elohim caused it to sprout. 7So then neither he who plants nor he who waters deserves the credit, but Elohim, who causes it to sprout. 8Thus the one who plants and the one who waters are equal, and each one shall receive his own wages according to his own labor. 9For we work together with Elohim. You are the work of Elohim and the building of Elohim. 10According to the compassion of Elohim which is given to me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds upon it. But let every man be careful how he builds thereon.
11For another foundation can no man lay than that which is already laid, which is Yeshua HaMashi’akh. 12Now if any man builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or stubble, 13every man’s work shall be plainly seen; for That Day shall expose it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall test every man’s work and show of what sort it is. 14And the builder whose work survives shall receive his reward. 15And the one whose work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss, but he himself shall be rescued, even as one who has been snatched from the fire.
16Do you not know that you are the Heikhal of Elohim, and that Ru’akh HaElohim dwells in you? 17And whoever defiles the Heikhal of Elohim, Elohim will destroy; for the Heikhal of Elohim is Kadosh, and you are that Heikhal.
18Let no man deceive himself. Whoever among you thinks he is wise in this world, let him consider himself a fool so that he may become wise. 19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness before Elohim. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness.” 20And again, “ יהוה knows that the thoughts of the wise are vain.” 21Therefore, let no man boast about men. For all things are yours, 22whether Pavlos, or Apollos, or Kefa, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all things are yours; 23and you belong to Mashi’akh, and Mashi’akh belongs to Elohim.
