Korintim Bet 4 – איגרת שאול השניה אל הקורינתים ד

t.o.c.

1For this reason we are not weary of the ministry in which we are engaged, just as we are not weary of the mercies that have been upon us; 2but we have renounced the hidden things of shame, and we do not practice cunning, nor do we handle D’var HaElohim deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth we commend ourselves to every man’s conscience before Elohim.  3If our B’sorah is hidden, it is hidden to those who are lost, 4to those in this world whose minds have been blinded by Elohim, because they did not trust, lest the light of the glorious B’sorah of Mashi’akh, who is the likeness of Elohim, should shine on them.  5For we do not declare about ourselves, but about Mashi’akh Yeshua, Adoneinu; and as to ourselves, we are your servants for Yeshua’s sake.  6For Elohim, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts, so that we may be enlightened with the knowledge of the glory of Elohim in the face of Yeshua HaMashi’akh.  7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of power may be from Elohim, and not from us.

8We are distressed in every way, but not overwhelmed; we are harassed on all sides, but not conquered; 9persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10for we always bear in our bodies the death of Yeshua, that the life of Yeshua might also be made manifest in our bodies.  11For if we who live are delivered to death for Yeshua’ sake, so also will the life of Yeshua be made manifest in our mortal bodies.  12Thus death is close to us, but life is near to you.  13So, for us also there is One Ru’akh by Emunah; as it is written, “I trusted, and therefore have I spoken;” we also trust, therefore we also speak, 14knowing that He who raised Adoneinu Yeshua shall raise us also by Yeshua and shall present us with you.  15For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant compassion might, through the thanksgiving of many, redound to the glory of Elohim.  16For this reason, we do not grow weary; for though our outward man perishes, yet the inner man is renewed day by day.  17For while the troubles of the present time are little and light, a great and limitless glory forever and ever is prepared for us.  18We do not rejoice in the things which are seen, but in the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
