Romim 1 – אגרת שאול אל הרומים א

t.o.c.

1Pavlos, a servant of Yeshua HaMashi’akh, called to be a Shali’akh and chosen to proclaim HaB’sorah of Elohim, 2which was promised from early days by His Nevi’im in the consecrated scriptures, 3concerning His Son who was born in the flesh, of the seed of Beit David, 4and who came to be known as Ben HaElohim, with power and with The Ru’akh HaKodesh, because He arose from the dead, and He is Yeshua HaMashi’akh Adoneinu.  5And by Him we have received compassion, and are sent out among all the Goyim so that they may obey HaEmunah which bears His Name, 6and you also are of them, and are called by the Name of Yeshua HaMashi’akh; 7to all who are in Rome, beloved of Elohim, called and K’doshim: shalom and compassion to you from Elohim Avinu and from Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi’akh.

8First, I thank my Elohim through Yeshua HaMashi’akh for you all, that your absolute trust has been heard of throughout the world.  9For Elohim, whom I serve in spirit in HaB’sorah of His Son, is my witness that unceasingly I make mention of you in my prayers, 10beseeching that if the way is open to me by the will of Elohim, I may come to you.  11For I long to see you, and to impart to you the gift of HaRu’akh, in order that you may be strengthened by it, 12and that we may be comforted together by our mutual Emunah.  13Now I want you to know, my brethren, that often I have wanted to come to you, but I have been prevented thus far, that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Goyim, 14Greeks and Barbarians, the wise and the unwise; for it is my duty to declare to everybody.  15So I am eager to declare HaB’sorah to you who are in Rome also.

16For I am not ashamed of HaB’sorah of Mashi’akh; for it is the power of Elohim unto life to everyone who trusts, whether they are Yehudim first, or Arame’ans.  17For therein is the tzedaka of Elohim revealed from Emunah to Emunah; as it is written, ‘A Tzadik shall live by trust.’  18For the wrath of Elohim is revealed from heaven against all the iniquity and wickedness of men who unjustly suppress the truth.

19Because that which may be known of Elohim is manifested to them, for Elohim has revealed it to them.  20For, from the very creation of the world, the invisible things of Elohim have been clearly seen and understood by His creations, even His eternal power and divinity; so that they are without excuse.  21For they knew Elohim, and did not glorify Him and give thanks to Him as Elohim, but became vain in their imaginations, and their hearts were darkened so that they could not understand.  22And while they thought within themselves that they were wise, they became fools, 23and they have changed the glory of the incorruptible Elohim for an image made in the likeness of corruptible man, and in the likeness of birds, and of four-footed beasts, and of creeping things on the earth.  24That is why Elohim also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their own bodies among themselves; 25and they have changed the truth of Elohim for lies, and worshipped and served the created things more than their Creator, to whom belongs glory and blessings forever. Amein.  26Therefore Elohim gave them up to vile passions; for even their women have changed the use of their natures into that which is unnatural; 27and likewise also their men have left the natural use of the women and have run wild with lust toward one another, male with male committing shameful acts, and receiving in themselves the due recompense of their error.  28And as they did not consent in themselves to know Elohim, Elohim gave them over to a vain mind, to do the things which should not be done; 29being filled with all manner of iniquity, fornication, bitterness, malice, extortion, envy, murder, strife, deceit, and evil thoughts.  30They are slanderers, backbiters, haters of Elohim, revilers, proud boasters, inventors of evil things, without reason, disobedient to their parents; 31these have no respect for a covenant.  They know neither love nor shalom,  nor  is there mercy in them.   32Knowing the judgment of Elohim, that those who commit such things He condemns to death, they not only do them, but also associate with those who practice them.
