1And Yeshua went out of the Heikhal to go away; and His Talmidim came up to Him, and were showing Him the building of the Heikhal. 2But He said to them, “Behold, do you not see all of these? Truly I say to you, not a stone shall be left here upon a stone, which will not be torn down.”
3While Yeshua sat on Har HaZetim, His Talmidim came up talking among themselves, and they said to Him, “Tell us when these things will happen, and what is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world?” 4Yeshua answered and said to them, “Be careful that no man deceives you. 5For many will come in my Name and say that I am the Mashi’akh, and they will deceive many. 6You are bound to hear of revolutions and rumors of wars; look out and do not be disturbed; for all of these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines and plagues and earthquakes in different places. 8But all these things are just the beginning of travail. 9Then they will deliver you over to be oppressed, and they will kill you; and you will be hated by all nations for my Name’s sake. 10Then many will stumble, and they will hate one another, and betray one another. 11And many false prophets will rise, and will mislead a great many. 12And because of the growth of iniquity, the love of many will become cold. 13But he who has patience to the end, he will live. 14And this B’sorah of HaMalkhut shall be declared throughout the world as a testimony to all the goyim; then the end will come. 15When you see the sign of the uncleanness of desolation, as spoken by the Navi Dani’el, standing in the M’kom Kadosh, whoever reads it will understand it. 16Then let those who are in Y’hudah flee to the mountain, 17and he who is on the roof, let him not come down to take things out of his house. 18And he who is in the field, let him not return back to take his clothes. 19But woe to those who are with child, and to those who nurse in those days! 20Pray that your flight may not be in winter, nor on Shabbat. 21For then will be great tribulation, such as has never happened from the beginning of the world until now, and never will be again. 22And if those days were not shortened, no flesh would live; but for the sake of the chosen ones those days will be shortened. 23Then if any man should say to you, ‘Behold, here is the Mashi’akh!’, or ‘There!’, do not believe it. 24For there will rise lying messiahs and false prophets, and they will show signs and great wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones. 25Behold, I have told you in advance. 26Therefore, if they should say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the desert,’ do not go out; or, ‘behold, He is in these rooms,’ do not believe it. 27For just as the lightning comes out from the east, and is seen even in the west, so will be the coming of Ben HaAdam. 28For wherever the Guf is, there will the eagles gather.”
29“Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30Then the sign of Ben HaAdam will appear in the sky; and then all the generations of the earth will mourn, and they will see Ben HaAdam coming on the clouds of the sky, with an army, and great glory. 31And He will send His Malakhim with the Shofar HaGadol, and they will gather His chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.”
32”From the fig tree learn a mashal. As soon as its branches become tender and bring forth leaves, you know that summer is coming. 33So even you, when you see all these things, know that it has arrived at the gate. 34Truly I say to you, that this generation will not pass away, until all these things happen. 35Even heaven and earth will pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”
36“But concerning that day and that hour, no man knows, not even the Malakhim of heaven, but HaAv alone. 37Just as in the days of No’akh, so will be the coming of Ben HaAdam. 38For as the people before the flood were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day No’akh entered into the ark, 39and they knew nothing until the flood came and carried them all away, such will be the coming of Ben HaAdam. 40Then, two men will be in the field, one will be taken away and the other forsaken. 41Two women will be grinding at the handmill, one will be taken and the other forsaken.
42“Be alert, therefore, for you do not know at what hour your Adon will come. 43But know this much, that if the adon of the house knew at what watch of the night the thief comes, he would keep awake and would not let his house be plundered. 44For this reason, you also be ready, for Ben HaAdam will come at an hour when you do not expect him. 45Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his Adon has appointed over his household, to give them food in due time? 46Blessed is that servant, when his Adon comes and finds him so doing. 47Truly I say to you, he will appoint him over all that he has. 48But if a bad servant should say in his heart, ‘My Adon will delay his coming,’ 49and he begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with drunkards, 50HaAdon of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect, and at an hour that he does not know. 51And he will severely scourge him, and give him a portion like that of the hypocrites; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
אוַיֵּצֵא יֵשׁוּעַ מִן הַהֵיכָל לָלֶכֶת וַיִּגְּשׁוּ תַּלְמִידָיו לְהַרְאוֹתוֹ אֶת בִּנְיַן הַהֵיכָל. באַז הוּא אָמַר אֲלֵיהֶם הַרְאִיתֶם אֶת כָּל אֵלֶּה? אָמֵן אֹמֵר אֲנִי לָכֶם לֹא תֵּעָזֵב פֹּה אֶבֶן עַל אֶבֶן אֲשֶׁר לֹא תִתְפָּרָק.
גוַיֵּשֵׁב עַל הַר הַזֵּיתִים וַיִּגְּשׁוּ אֵלָיו הַתַּלְמִידִים לְבַדָּם וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֱמָר נָא לָנוּ מָתַי יִהְיוּ אֵלֶּה, וּמַהוּ הָאוֹת שֶׁל בִּיאָתְךָ וְשֶׁל קֵץ הָעוֹלָם? דוַיַּעַן יֵשׁוּעַ וַיֹּאמֶר לָהֶם הִזָּהֲרוּ, אַל יַטְעֶה אֶתְכֶם אִישׁ. הכִּי רַבִּים יָבֹאוּ בִּשְׁמִי לֵאמֹר שֶׁאֲנִי הַמָּשִׁיחַ, וְיַטְעוּ רַבִּים. ווְאַתֶּם עֲתִידִים לִשְׁמֹעַ פֻּרְעָנֻיּוֹת וּשְׁמוּעַת מִלְחָמוֹת רְאוּ אַל תִּבָּהֲלוּ כִּי כָּל אֵלֶּה צְרִיכִים לִהְיוֹת אַךְ עֲדֶן אֵין הַקֵּץ. זכִּי יָקוּם גּוֹי עַל גּוֹי וּמַמְלָכָה עַל מַמְלָכָה וְהָיָה רָעָב וּמַגֵּפוֹת וּרְעִידוֹת אֲדָמָה בִּמְקוֹמוֹת שׁוֹנִים. חאַךְ כָל אֵלֶּה רַק רֵאשִׁית הַחֲבָלִים. טאָז יִמְסְרוּ אֶתְכֶם לִנְגִשׂוֹת וְיַהַרְגוּ אֶתְכֶם וִהְיִיתֶם שְׂנוּאִים לְכָל הַגּוֹיִם בַּעֲבוּר שְׁמִי. יוְאָז יִכָּשְׁלוּ רַבִּים וְיִשְׂנְאוּ זֶה אֶת זֶה, וְיַסְגִּירוּ זֶה אֶת זֶה. יאוּנְבִיאֵי שֶׁקֶר רַבִּים יָקוּמוּ וְיַטְעוּ רַבִּים. יבוּבִגְלַל רִבּוּי הָרֶשַׁע, תָּפוּג אַהֲבַת רַבִּים. יגאֲבָל מִי שֶׁיַּעֲמֹד עַד קֵץ, הוּא יִחְיֵה. ידוְתֻכְרַז בְּשׂוֹרַת הַמַּלְכוּת הַזֹּאת בְּכָל הָעוֹלָם לְעֵדוּת לְכָל הַגּוֹיִם וְאַחַר יָבוֹא הַקֵּץ.
טולָכֵן כַּאֲשֶׁר תִּרְאוּ אֶת אוֹת הַשִּׁקּוּץ הַמְשׁוֹמֵם אֲשֶׁר אָמַר דָּנִיֵּאל הַנָּבִיא עוֹמֵד בְּמָקוֹם קָדוֹשׁ הַקֹּרֵא יָבִין. טזאָז נוֹס יָנוּסוּ אֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר בִּיהוּדָה אֶל הֶהָר. יזוַאֲשֶׁר עַל הַגָּג אַל יֵרֵד לָקַחַת מַה מִבֵּיתוֹ. יחוַאֲשֶׁר בַּשָּׂדֶה אַל יָשֹׁב הַבַּיְתָה לָקַחַת אֶת מַלְבּוּשׁוֹ. יטוְהוֹי לֶהָרוֹת וְלַמֵּינִיקוֹת בַּיָּמִים הָהֵם. כהִתְפַּלֲלוּ שֶׁלּא תִּהְיֶה מְנוּסַתְכֶם בַּחֹרֶף וְלֹא בַּשַׁבָּת. כאכִּי אָז תִּהְיֶה צָרָה גְדוֹלָה אֲשֶׁר כָּמוֹהָ לֹא נִהְיְתָה מֵרֵאשִׁית הָעוֹלָם וְעַד עַתָּה וְכָמוֹהָ לֹא תִּהְיֶה. כבוְלוּלֵא נִקְצְרוּ הַיָּמִים הָהֵם לֹא הָיָה חַי כָּל בָּשָׂר אֲבָל לְמַעַן הַבְּחִירִים יִקָּצְרוּ הַיָּמִים הָהֵם. כגוְכִי יֹאמַר אֲלֵיכֶם אִישׁ בָּעֵת הַהִיא הִנֵּה פֹה הַמָּשִׁיחַ! אוֹ הִנּוֹ פֹּה! אַל תַּאֲמִינוּ. כדכִּי יָקוּמוּ מְשִׁיחֵי שֶׁקֶר וּנְבִיאֵי כָּזָב וְיִתְּנוּ אֹתוֹת גְּדֹלוֹת וּמוֹפְתִים לְמַעַן הַטְעוֹת אַף אֶת הַבְּחִירִים אִם אֶפְשָׁר. כההִנֵּה מֵרֹאשׁ אָמַרְתִּי לָכֶם. כולָכֵן כִּי יֹאמְרוּ אֲלֵיכֶם הִנֵּה בַמִּדְבָּר הוּא אַל תֵּצֵאוּ; אוֹ הִנֵּה בְּחַדְרֵי חֲדָרִים הוּא אַל תַּאֲמִינוּ. כזכִּי כַבָּרָק הַיּוֹצֵא מִמִּזְרָח וּמֵאִיר עַד הַמַּעֲרָב כֵּן יִהְיֶה גַּם בִּיאַת בֶּן הָאָדָם. כחכִּי בַאֲשֶׁר שֶׁיִּהְיֶה הַגּוּף, שָׁם יְכַנְּסוּ הַנְּשָׁרִים.
כטוּמִיָּד אַחֲרֵי צָרַת הַיָּמִים הָהֵם תֶּחְשַׁךְ הַשֶׁמֶשׁ וְהַיָּרֵחַ לֹא יַרְאֶה אֶת אוֹרוֹ וְהַכּוֹכָבִים יִפְּלוּ מִן הַשָׁמָיִם וְצִבְאוֹת הַשָׁמַיִם יִזְדַּעְזְעוּ. לאָז יֵרָאֶה אוֹת בֶּן הָאָדָם בַּשָׁמָיִם וְסָפְדוּ כָּל מִשְׁפְּחוֹת הָאָרֶץ וְרָאוּ אֶת בֶּן הָאָדָם בָּא עַל עַנֲנֵי הַשָׁמַיִם עִם חַיִל וְכָבוֹד רָב. לאוְשָׁלַח אֶת מַלְאָכָיו עִם שׁוֹפָר הָגָּדוֹל וְיְכַנְּסוּ אֶת בְּחִירָיו מֵאַרְבַּע הָרוּחוֹת לְמִקְצֵה הַשָׁמַיִם וְעַד קְצֵה הַשָׁמָיִם.
לבוּמִן הַתְּאֵנָה לִמְדוּ אֶת הַמָּשָׁל הַזֶּה כַּאֲשֶׁר יִרְטַב עֲנָפָהּ וּפָרְחוּ עָלֶיהָ יְדַעְתֶּם כִּי הִגִּיעַ הַקָּיִץ. לגכֵּן גַּם אַתֶּם בִּרְאוֹתְכֶם אֶת כָּל אֵלֶּה דְּעוּ כִּי הִגִּיעַ לַשַּׁעַר. לדאָמֵן אֹמֵר אֲנִי לָכֶם כִּי לֹא יַעֲבֹר הַדּוֹר הַזֶּה עַד אֲשֶׁר יִהְיוּ כָל אֵלֶּה. לההַשָׁמַיִם וְהָאָרֶץ יַעֲבֹרוּ וּדְבָרַי לֹא יַעֲבֹרוּן.
לווְאֶת הַיּוֹם הַהוּא וְאֶת הַשָׁעָה הַהִיא אֵין אִישׁ יוֹדֵעַ גַּם לֹא מַלְאָכֵי הַשָׁמַיִם אֶלָּא הָאָב בִּלְבַד. לזוְכִימֵי נֹחַ כֵּן יִהְיֶה גַּם בִּיאַת בֶּן הָאָדָם. לחכִּי כַּאֲשֶׁר לִפְנֵי יְמֵי הַמַּבּוּל הָיוּ אֹכְלִים וְשֹׁתִים נֹשְׂאִים נָשִׁים וּמַשִּׂיאִים אוֹתָן לִגְבָרִים עַד הַיּוֹם שֶׁנִּכְנַס נֹחַ אֶל הַתֵּבָה. לטוְלֹא יָדְעוּ עַד בּוֹא הַמַּבּוּל וַיִסְחַף אֶת כֻּלָּם כֵּן יִהְיֶה גַּם בִּיאַת בֶּן הָאָדָם. מאָז יִהְיוּ שְׁנַיִם בַּשָּׂדֶה וְיִנָּצֵל אֶחָד וְהָאֶחָד יַעָזֵב. מאשְׁתַּיִם תִּהְיֶינָה טוֹחֲנוֹת בָּרֵחָיִם וְתִּנָּצֵל אַחַת וְאַחַת תֵּעָזֵב.
מבלָכֵן עוּרוּ כִּי אֵינְכֶם יוֹדְעִים בְּאֵי זוֹ שָׁעָה יָבֹא אֲדֹנֵיכֶם. מגוְאֶת זֹאת דְּעוּ אֲשֶׁר לוּ יָדַע בַּעַל הַבַּיִת בְּאֵי זוֹ אַשְׁמוּרָה יָבֹא הַגַּנָּב כִּי עַתָּה שָׁקַד וְלֹא הִנִּיחַ לְכָךְ שֶׁיִּפָּרֵץ בֵּיתוֹ. מדלָכֵן הֱיוּ נְכוֹנִים גַּם אַתֶּם כִּי בְשָׁעָה אֲשֶׁר אֵינְכֶם מְדַמִּים יָבוֹא בֶּן הָאָדָם. מהמִי הוּא אֵפוֹא הָעֶבֶד הַנֶּאֱמַן וְהֶחָכָם אֲשֶׁר הִפְקִידוֹ אֲדֹנָיו עַל בְּנֵי בֵּיתוֹ לָתֵת לָהֶם אֶת אָכְלָם בְּעִתּוֹ? מואַשְׁרֵי הָעֶבֶד אֲשֶׁר יָבוֹא אֲדֹנָיו וְיִמְצָאֵהוּ עֹשֶׂה כֵּן. מזאָמֵן אֹמֵר אֲנִי לָכֶם כִּי יַפְקִידֵהוּ עַל כָּל אֲשֶׁר לוֹ. מחאֲבָל אִם יֹאמַר הָעֶבֶד הָרַע בְּלִבּוֹ מְאַחֵר אֲדֹנִי לָבוֹא. מטוְיַתְחִיל לְהַכּוֹת אֶת חֲבֵרָיו וְאָכַל וְשָׁתָה עִם הַשִּׁכּוֹרִים, נבּוֹא יָבוֹא אֲדֹנֵי הָעֶבֶד הַהוּא בְּיוֹם שֶׁאֵינוֹ מְדַמֶּה וּבְשָׁעָה לֹא יֵדָע. נאוִישַׁסֵּף אֹתוֹ וַיָשִׂים אֶת חֶלְקוֹ עִם מַעֲמִידֵי הַפָּנִים שָׁם יִהְיֶה בְּכִי וַחֲרֹק הַשִׁנָּיִם.
