1Pavlos, a Shali’akh of Yeshua HaMashi’akh by the Mitzvah of Elohim Moshi’einu and Mashi’akh Yeshua our hope; 2to Timoteus, a true son in HaEmunah: Compassion, mercy, and shalom from Elohim Avinu, and Mashi’akh Yeshua Adoneinu. 3When I went to Macedonia, I besought you to remain at Efesos, so that you might charge certain ones not to teach diverse doctrines, 4and not to give heed to fables and stories of endless genealogies, which cause dispute, rather than build up HaEmunah of Elohim.
5Now the fulfillment of the Mitzvah is love out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of a true absolute trust, 6from which some have gone astray and have turned aside to foolish words, 7desiring to be teachers of the Torah; not understanding what they speak, nor even whereof they argue. 8But we know that the Torah is good, if a man walks in it according to Torah, 9knowing this, that the Torah is not made for the righteous, but for the wicked and rebellious, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the profane and unclean, for those who abuse their fathers and ill-treat their mothers, for murderers, 10for whoremongers, for those who defile themselves with males, for kidnappers of well-born sons, for liars, for perjurers, and for whatever is contrary to sound doctrine; 11this is according to the glorious B’sorah of the Blessed Elohim, which was entrusted to me.
12And I thank Adoneinu Yeshua HaMashi’akh who has given me strength, and has counted me trustworthy and has appointed me to His ministry, 13who was before a blasphemer and a persecutor and a reviler; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. 14Now the compassion of Adoneinu has become abundant in me, as well as my absolute trust and love in Yeshua HaMashi’akh. 15It is a trustworthy saying and worthy of all acceptation, that Yeshua HaMashi’akh came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. 16But for this cause He had mercy on me, that in me first Yeshua HaMashi’akh may show forth all patience, for a pattern to those who should hereafter believe in Him to Khayei Olam. 17Now to Melekh HaOlamim, immortal, invisible, the only Elohim, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amein.
18This charge I commit to you, my son Timoteus, in accordance with the prophecies given before about you, that you might fight a good fight, 19in absolute trust and good conscience; those who have rejected this charge have lost their Emunah, 20namely Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have delivered to HaSatan to be disciplined so that they may no longer blaspheme.
