1At that very hour the Talmidim came up to Yeshua and said, “Who is greatest in Malkhut HaShamayim?” 2So Yeshua called a little boy and made him to stand up in the midst of them, 3and He said, “Truly I say to you, unless you repent and become like children, you shall not enter into Malkhut HaShamayim. 4Whoever therefore will humble himself like this little boy shall be great in Malkhut HaShamayim. 5And he who will welcome one like this little boy, in My Name, welcomes Me. 6And whoever misleads one of these little ones who believe in Me, it would be better for him that a donkey’s millstone were hanged on his neck and he were sunk in the depths of the sea.”
7“Woe to the world because of offenses! Offenses are bound to come; but woe to the man by whose hand the offenses come! 8If your hand or your foot offends you, cut it off and throw it away from you; for it is much better for you to go through life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, and fall into the everlasting fire. 9And if your eye offends you, remove it and throw it away from you; it is better for you to go through life with one eye, rather than having two eyes and fall into the Gehinom of fire. 10See to it that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I say to you, their Malakhim in the heavens always see the face of Avi Sh’baShamayim. 11For Ben HaAdam has come to save what was lost. 12What do you think? If a man should have a hundred sheep, and one of them is lost, would he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountain, and go in search of the one which is lost? 13And if he should find it, truly I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which were not lost. 14Even so, Avikhem in Heaven does not want one of these little ones to be lost.”
15“Now then, if your brother is at fault with you, go and rebuke him alone; if he listens to you, then you have won your brother. 16But if he will not listen to you, take one or two with you, because at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word is established. 17And if he will not listen to them, tell the congregation; and if he will not listen to the congregation, then regard him as a publican and a servant of idols. 18Truly I say to you, whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven. 19Again I say to you, that if two of you are worthy on earth, anything that they would ask, it will be done for them by Avi Sh’baShamayim. 20For wherever two or three are gathered in My Name, I am there among them.”
21Then Kefa came up and said to Him, “My Adon, if my brother is at fault with me, how many times should I release him? Up to seven times? 22Yeshua said to him, “I do not say to you up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”
23“Therefore Malkhut HaShamayim is likened to a king who wanted to take an accounting from his servants. 24And when he began to take the accounting, they brought to him one who owed ten thousand talents. 25And as he could not pay, his Adon commanded him to be sold, together with his wife and children and all that he had, so that he could pay. 26The servant then fell down, worshipped him, and said, ‘My Adon, have patience with me, and I will pay you everything.’ 27Then the Adon of that servant had pity, so he released him, and cancelled his debt. 28But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow-servants who owed him one hundred denarii, and he seized him, and tried to choke him, saying to him, ‘Give me what you owe me.’ 29So his fellow-servant fell down at his feet, and begged him and said, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you.’ 30But he was not willing; and he went and had him put into prison, until he should pay him what he owed him. 31When their fellow-servants saw what had happened, they were very sorry, and they came and informed their Adon of everything that had happened. 32Then his Adon called him and said to him, ‘O wicked servant, I cancelled all your debt because you begged me. 33Was it not right for you to have mercy on your fellow-servant, just as I had mercy on you?’ 34So his Adon was angry, and delivered him to the scourgers, until he should pay everything he owed him. 35So will Avi Sh’baShamayim do to you, if you do not forgive each man his brother’s iniquity from your heart.”
אבַּשָׁעָה הַהִיא נִגְּשׁוּ הַתַּלְמִידִים אֶל יֵשׁוּעַ וַיֹּאמְרוּ מִי אֵפוֹא הַגָּדוֹל בְּמַלְכוּת הַשָׁמָיִם? בוַיִּקְרָא יֵשׁוּעַ אֵלָיו יֶלֶד וַיַּעֲמִידֵהוּ בְתוֹכָם. גוַיֹּאמַר אָמֵן אֹמֵר אֲנִי לָכֶם אִם לֹא תָשׁוּבוּ לִהְיוֹת כַּיְלָדִים לֹא תָבֹאוּ אֶל מַלְכוּת הַשָׁמָיִם. דלָכֵן כָּל הַמַּשְׁפִּיל אֶת עַצְמוֹ כַּיֶלֶד הַזֶּה הוּא הַגָּדוֹל בְּמַלְכוּת הַשָׁמָיִם. הוְהַמְקַבֵּל יֶלֶד אֶחָד כָּזֶה בִּשְׁמִי אוֹתִי הוּא מְקַבֵּל. והַמַּכְשִׁיל אֶת אֶחָד מִן הַקְּטַנִּים הָאֵלֶּה הַמַּאֲמִינִים בִּי מוּטָב הָיָה לוֹ שֶׁתְּהֵא אֶבֶן רֵחַיִם שֶׁל חֲמוֹר תְּלוּיָה בְּצַוָּארוֹ וִיטֻבַּע בְּמַעֲמַקֵּי הַיָּם.
זאוֹי לָעוֹלָם מִן הַמִּכְשֹׁלִים כִּי הַמִּכְשֹׁלִים בּוֹא יָבֹאוּ אֲבָל אוֹי לָאִישׁ הַהוּא אֲשֶׁר עַל יָדוֹ יָבוֹאוּ הַמִּכְשׁוֹלִים! חוְאִם תַּכְשִׁילְךָ יָדְךָ אוֹ רַגְלְךָ קַצֵּץ אוֹתָהּ וְהַשְׁלֵךְ מִמֶּךָּ טוֹב לְךָ לָבוֹא לַחַיִּים גִּדֵּם אוֹ קִטֵּעַ מִהְיוֹת לְךָ שְׁתֵּי יָדַיִם אוֹ שְׁתֵּי רַגְלַיִם וְתֻשְׁלַךְ אֶל אֵשׁ עוֹלָם. טוְאִם עֵינְךָ תַכְשִׁילְךָ נַקֵּר אוֹתָהּ וְהַשְׁלֵךְ מִמֶּךָּ טוֹב לְךָ לָבוֹא לַחַיִּים בְּעַיִן אַחַת מִהְיוֹת לְךָ שְׁתֵּי עֵינַיִם וְתֻשְׁלַךְ אֶל אֵשׁ גֵּיהִנֹּם. ירְאוּ פֶּן תִּבְזוּ אַחַד הַקְּטַנִּים הָאֵלֶּה כִּי אֹמֵר אֲנִי לָכֶם מַלְאֲכֵיהֶם בַּשָּׁמַיִם רֹאִים תָּמִיד אֶת פְּנֵי אָבִי שֶׁבַּשָׁמָיִם. יאכִּי בֶן הָאָדָם בָּא לְהוֹשִׁיעַ אֶת הָאֹבֵד. יבמַה דַּעְתְּכֶם? כִּי יִהְיוּ לְאִישׁ מֵאָה כְבָשִׂים וְתָּעָה אֶחָד מֵהֶם הֲלֹא יַעֲזֹב אֶת הַתִּשְׁעִים וְתִשְׁעָה עַל הֶהָרִים וְהָלַךְ לְחַפֵּשׂ אֶת הָתָּעָה? יגוְהָיָה כַּאֲשֶׁר
יִמְצָאֵהוּ אָמֵן אֹמֵר אֲנִי לָכֶם כִּי יִשְׂמַח עָלָיו יוֹתֵר מֵעַל הַתִּשְׁעִיםוְתִשְׁעָה אֲשֶׁר לֹא תָּעוּ. ידכֵּן אֵינֶנּוּ רָצוֹן מִלִּפְנֵי אֲבִיכֶם שֶׁבַּשָׁמָיִם שֶׁיֹּאבַד אֶחָד מִן הַקְּטַנִּים הָאֵלֶּה.
טווְכִי עָוָה לְךָ אָחִיךָ לֵךְ וְהוֹכֵחַ אוֹתוֹ בֵּינְךָ לְבֵינוֹ לְבַד וְאִם יִשְׁמַע אֵלֶיךָ הִרְוַחְתָּ לְּךָ אֶת אָחִיךָ. טזוְאִם לֹא יִשְׁמַע וְלָקַחַתָּ עִמְּךָ עוֹד אֶחָד אוֹ שְׁנָיִם כִּי עַל פִּי שְׁנַיִם אוֹ שְׁלֹשָׁה עֵדִים יָקוּם כָּל דָּבָר. יזוְאִם לֹא יִשְׁמַע אֲלֵיהֶם וְהִגַּדְתָּ אֶל הַקְּהִלָּה וְאִם לֹא יִשְׁמַע גַּם אֶל הַקְּהִלָּה וְהָיָה לְךָ כְּמוֹכֵס וּכְעוֹבֵד אֱלִילִים. יחאָמֵן אֹמֵר אֲנִי לָכֶם כֹּל אֲשֶׁר תַּאַסְרוּ עַל הָאָרֶץ אָסוּר יִהְיֶה בַּשָׁמָיִם וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר תַּתִּירוּ עַל הָאָרֶץ מֻתָּר יִהְיֶה בַּשָׁמָיִם. יטוְעוֹד אֹמֵר אֲנִי לָכֶם שְׁנַיִם מִכֶּם יַסְכִּימוּ בָּאָרֶץ עַל כָּל דָּבָר אֲשֶׁר שֶׁיְּבַקְּשׁוּ יִהְיֶה לָהֶם מֵאֵת אָבִי שֶׁבַּשָׁמָיִם. ככִּי בְכָל מָקוֹם אֲשֶׁר יֵאָסְפוּ שְׁנַיִם אוֹ שְׁלֹשָׁה בִּשְׁמִי שָׁם אֲנִי בֵּינֵיהֶם.
כאוַיִּגַּשׁ אֵלָיו כֵּיפָא וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ אֲדֹנִי כַּמַה פְּעָמִים יַעֲוֶה לִי אָחִי אֶסְלַח לוֹ? הַעַד שֶׁבַע פְּעָמִים? כבוַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו יֵשׁוּעַ לֹא אֹמַר לְךָ עַד שֶׁבַע פְּעָמִים כִּי עַד שִׁבְעִים וָשֶׁבַע.
כגעַל כֵּן דּוֹמָה מַלְכוּת הַשָׁמַיִם לְאִישׁ לְמֶלֶךְ שֶׁהָיָה שֶׁרָצָה לְקַבֵּל דִּין וְחֶשְׁבּוֹן עִם עֲבָדָיו. כדוְכַאֲשֶׁר הֵחֵל לְחַשֵׁב הוּבָא לְפָנָיו אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר הָיָה חַיָּב לוֹ עֲשֶׂרֶת אֲלָפִים כִּכְּרֵי כָסֶף. כהוְלֹא הָיָה לוֹ לְשָׁלֵּם וַיְצַו אֲדֹנָיו לִמְכֹּר אוֹתוֹ וְאֶת אִשְׁתּוֹ וְאֶת בָּנָיו וְאֶת כָּל אֲשֶׁר לוֹ וִישַׁלֵּם. כווַיִּפֹּל הָעֶבֶד עַל פָּנָיו וְיִּשְׁתַּחוּ לוֹ לֵאמֹר אֲדֹנִי הַאֲרֶךְ לִי אַפֶּךָ וַאֲשַׁלֵּם לְךָ הַכֹּל. כזוַיֶּהֱמוּ מְעֵי אֲדֹנֵי הָעֶבֶד הַהוּא וַיִּפְטְרֵהוּ וַיִּמְחֹל לוֹ אֶת חוֹבוֹ. כחוַיֵּצֵא הָעֶבֶד הַהוּא מִלְּפָנָיו וַיִּמְצָא אֶחָד מֵחֲבֵרָיו וְהוּא חַיָּב לוֹ מֵאָה דִינָרִים וַיַּחֲזֶק בּוֹ וַיַּחְנְקֵהוּ לֵאמֹר שַׁלֵּם אֵת אֲשֶׁר אַתָּה חַיָּב לִי. כטוַיִּפֹּל חֲבֵרוֹ לִפְנֵי רַגְלָיו וַיְבַקֵּשׁ מִמֶּנּוּ לֵאמֹר הַאֲרֶךְ לִי אַפֶּךָ וַאֲשַׁלְּמָה לְּךָ הַכֹּל. לוְהוּא מֵאֵן וַיֵּלֶךְ וַיַּנִּיחֵהוּ בַּמִּשְׁמָר עַד שֶׁיְּשַׁלֶּם לוֹ אֶת חוֹבוֹ. לאוְהָעֲבָדִים חֲבֵרָיו רָאוּ אֶת אֲשֶׁר נַעֲשָׂה וַיֵּעָצְבוּ מְאֹד וַיָּבֹאוּ וַיַּגִּידוּ לַאֲדֹנֵיהֶם אֶת כָּל אֲשֶׁר נַעֲשָׂה. לבוַיִּקְרָא אֵלָיו אֲדֹנָיו וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ אַתָּה עֶבֶד בְּלִיַּעַל אֶת כָּל הַחוֹב הַהוּא מָחַלְתִּי לְךָ יַעַן אֲשֶׁר בִּקַּשְׁתָּ מִמֶּנִּי. לגהֲלֹא הָיָה גַם עָלֶיךָ לְרַחֵם עַל חֲבֵרֶךָ כַּאֲשֶׁר רִחַמְתִּי אֲנִי עָלֶיךָ? לדוַיִּקְצֹף אֲדֹנָיו וַיִּתְּנֵהוּ בְּיַד הַנֹּגְשִׂים עַד כִּי יְשַׁלֵּם אֶת כָּל חוֹבוֹ. להכָּכָה יַעֲשֶׂה לָכֶם גַּם אָבִי שֶׁבַּשָׁמָיִם אִם לֹא תִמְחֲלוּ אִישׁ לְאָחִיו בְּכָל לְבַבְכֶם אֶת עֲווֹנוֹ.
