Tehillah 114 – תהלה קיד – D'var יהוה , The Word of יהוה

¹When Yisra’el came forth out of Mitzrayim, Beit Ya’akov from a people of strange language;

²Yehudah became His kodesh, Yisra’el His dominion.

³The sea saw it, and fled; the Yarden turned backward.

⁴The mountains skipped like rams, the hills like young sheep.

⁵What ails you, O you sea, that you flee? O Yarden, that you turn backward?

⁶You mountains, that you skip like rams; you hills, like young sheep?

⁷Tremble, O earth, at the presence of Adon, at the presence of the Elohim of Ya’akov;

⁸Who turned the Rock into a pool of water, the flint into His fountain of waters.

^אבְּצֵאת יִשְׂרָאֵל מִמִּצְרָיִם; בֵּית יַעֲקֹב מֵעַם לֹעֵז.

^בהָיְתָה יְהוּדָה לְקָדְשׁוֹ; יִשְׂרָאֵל מַמְשְׁלוֹתָיו.

^גהַיָּם רָאָה וַיָּנֹס; הַיַּרְדֵּן יִסֹּב לְאָחוֹר.

^דהֶהָרִים רָקְדוּ כְאֵילִים; גְּבָעוֹת כִּבְנֵי צֹאן.

^המַה לְּךָ הַיָּם כִּי תָנוּס; הַיַּרְדֵּן תִּסֹּב לְאָחוֹר.

^והֶהָרִים תִּרְקְדוּ כְאֵילִים; גְּבָעוֹת כִּבְנֵי צֹאן.

^זמִלִּפְנֵי אָדוֹן חוּלִי אָרֶץ; מִלִּפְנֵי אֱלוֹהַּ יַעֲקֹב.

^חהַהֹפְכִי הַצּוּר אֲגַם מָיִם; חַלָּמִישׁ לְמַעְיְנוֹ מָיִם.
