Alef. Happy are they that are upright in HaDerekh, who walk in the Torah of יהוה .
Happy are they that keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart.
Yes, they do no unrighteousness; they walk in His ways.
You have ordained Your precepts, that we should observe them diligently.
Oh that my ways were directed to observe Your statutes!
Then would I not be ashamed, when I have regard unto all Your Mitzvot.
I will give thanks unto You with uprightness of heart, when I learn Your righteous ordinances.
I will observe Your statutes; O forsake me not utterly.
Beit. How shall a young man keep his way pure? By taking heed thereto according to Your D’var.
With my whole heart have I sought You; O let me not err from Your Mitzvot.
Your word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against You.
Blessed are You, O יהוה ; teach me Your statutes.
With my lips have I told all the ordinances of Your mouth.
I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, as much as in all riches.
I will meditate in Your precepts, and have respect unto Your ways.
I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your D’var.
Gimel. Deal bountifully with Your servant that I may live, and I will observe Your D’var.
Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Your Torah.
I am a sojourner in the earth; hide not Your Mitzvot from me.
My soul breaks for the longing that it has unto Your ordinances at all times.
You have rebuked the proud that are cursed, that do err from Your Mitzvot.
Take away from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept Your testimonies.
Even though princes sit and talk against me, your servant does meditate in Your statutes.
Yes, Your testimonies are my delight, they are my counsellors.
Dalet. My soul cleaves unto the dust; quicken me according to Your D’var.
I told of my ways, and You did answer me; teach me Your statutes.
Make me to understand the way of Your precepts, that I may talk of Your wondrous works.
My soul melts away for heaviness; sustain me according unto Your D’var.
Remove from me the way of falsehood; for your Torah gives grace to me.
I have chosen the way of faithfulness; Your ordinances have I set [before me].
I cleave unto Your testimonies; O יהוה , put me not to shame.
I will run the way of Your Mitzvot, for You do enlarge my heart.
Heh. Teach me, O יהוה , the way of Your statutes; and I will keep it at every step.
Give me understanding, that I may keep Your Torah and observe it with my whole heart.
Make me to tread in the path of Your Mitzvot; for therein do I delight.
Incline my heart unto Your testimonies, and not to covetousness.
Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity, and quicken me in Your ways.
Confirm Your word unto Your servant, which pertains unto the fear of You.
Turn away my reproach which I dread; for Your ordinances are good.
Behold, I have longed after Your precepts; quicken me in Your tzedaka.
Vav. Let Your mercies also come unto me, O יהוה , even Your Salvation, according to Your word;
That I may have an answer for him that taunts me; for I trust in Your word.
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I hope in Your ordinances;
So shall I observe Your Torah continually forever and ever;
And I will walk at ease, for I have sought Your precepts;
I will also speak of Your testimonies before kings, and will not be ashamed.
And I will delight myself in Your Mitzvot, which I have loved.
I will lift up my hands also unto Your Mitzvot, which I have loved; and I will meditate in Your statutes.
Zayin. Remember [The] Davar unto Your servant, because You have made me to hope.
This is my comfort in my affliction, that Your word has quickened me.
The proud have had me greatly in derision; yet have I not turned aside from Your Torah.
I have remembered Your ordinances which are of old, O יהוה , and have comforted myself.
Burning indignation has taken hold upon me, because of the wicked that forsake Your Torah.
Your statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
I have remembered Your Name, O יהוה , in the night, and have observed Your Torah.
This I have had, that I have kept Your precepts.
Khet. My portion is יהוה , I have said that I would observe Your D’varim.
I have entreated Your favor with my whole heart; be gracious unto me according to Your word.
I considered my ways, and turned my feet unto Your testimonies.
I made haste, and delayed not, to observe Your Mitzvot.
The bands of the wicked have enclosed me; but I have not forgotten Your Torah.
At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto You because of Your righteous ordinances.
I am a companion of all them that fear You, and of them that observe Your precepts.
The earth, O יהוה , is full of Your compassion; teach me Your statutes.
Tet. You have done goodness to Your servant, O יהוה , according unto Your word.
Teach me good discernment and knowledge; for I have believed in Your Mitzvot.
Before I was afflicted, I did err; but now I observe Your word.
You are good, and do good; teach me Your statutes.
The proud have forged a lie against me; but I, with my whole heart, will keep Your precepts.
Their heart is gross like fat; but I delight in Your Torah.
It is good for me that I have been afflicted, in order that I might learn Your statutes.
The Torah of Your mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.
Yod. Your hands have made me and fashioned me; give me understanding, that I may learn Your Mitzvot.
They that fear You shall see me and be glad, because I have hope in Your word.
I know, O יהוה , that Your judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness You have afflicted me.
Let, I pray You, Your compassion be ready to comfort me, according to Your promise unto Your servant.
Let Your tender mercies come unto me, that I may live; for Your Torah is my delight.
Let the proud be put to shame, for they have distorted my cause with falsehood; but I will meditate in Your precepts.
Let those that fear You return unto me, and they that know Your testimonies.
Let my heart be undivided in Your statutes, in order that I may not be put to shame.
Kaf. My soul pines for Your Salvation; in Your D’var do I hope.
My eyes fail for Your word, saying, “When will You comfort me?”
For I am become like a wine-skin in the smoke; yet do I not forget Your statutes.
How many are the days of Your servant? When will You execute judgment on them that persecute me?
The proud have digged pits for me, which is not according to Your Torah.
All Your Mitzvot are faithful; they persecute me for nought; help me.
They had almost consumed me upon earth; but as for me, I forsook not Your precepts.
Quicken me after Your compassion, and I will observe the testimony of Your mouth.
Lamed. Forever, O יהוה , Your D’var stands fast in heaven.
Your faithfulness is unto all generations; You have established the earth, and it stands.
They stand this day according to Your ordinances; for all things are Your servants.
Unless Your Torah had been my delight, I would then have perished in my affliction.
I will never forget Your precepts; for with them You have quickened me.
I am Yours, save me; for I have sought Your precepts.
The wicked have waited for me to destroy me; but I will consider Your testimonies.
I have seen an end to every purpose; but Your Mitzvah is exceedingly broad.
Mem. O how I love Your Torah! It is my meditation all the day.
Your Mitzvot make me wiser than my enemies: for they are ever with me.
I have more understanding than all my teachers; for Your testimonies are my meditation.
I understand more than my elders, because I have kept Your precepts.
I have refrained my feet from every evil way, in order that I might observe Your D’var.
I have not turned aside from Your ordinances; for You have instructed me.
How sweet are Your words unto my palate! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
From Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.
Nun. Your D’var is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
I have sworn, and have confirmed it, to observe Your righteous ordinances.
I am afflicted very much; quicken me, O יהוה , according unto Your D’var.
Accept, I beseech You, the Nid’vot of my mouth, O יהוה , and teach me Your ordinances.
My soul is continually in my hand; yet have I not forgotten Your Torah.
The wicked have laid a snare for me; yet I went not astray from Your precepts.
Your testimonies have I taken as a heritage forever; for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
I have inclined my heart to perform Your statutes, forever, at every step.
Samekh. I hate them that are of a double mind; but Your Torah do I love.
You are my hiding place and my Magen; in Your word do I hope.
Depart from me, you evildoers; that I may keep the Mitzvot of my Elohim.
Uphold me according unto Your word, that I may live; and put me not to shame in my hope.
Support me, and I shall be saved; and I will occupy myself with Your statutes continually.
You have made light of all them that err from Your statutes; for their deceit is vain.
You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross; therefore I love Your testimonies.
My flesh shudders for fear of You; and I am afraid of Your judgments.
Ayin. I have done justice and righteousness; leave me not to my oppressors.
Be surety for Your servant for good; let not the proud oppress me.
My eyes fail for Your Salvation, and for Your righteous word.
Deal with Your servant according unto Your mercy, and teach me Your statutes.
I am Your servant, give me understanding, that I may know Your testimonies.
It is time for יהוה to work; they have made void Your Torah.
Therefore I love Your Mitzvot above gold, yes, above fine gold.
Therefore I esteem all [Your] precepts concerning all things to be right; every false way I hate.
Peh. Your testimonies are wonderful; therefore does my soul keep them.
The opening of Your D’varim gives light; it gives understanding unto the simple.
I opened wide my mouth, and panted; for I longed for Your Mitzvot.
Turn towards me, and be gracious unto me, as is Your wont to do unto those that love Your Name.
Order my footsteps by Your word; and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Redeem me from the oppression of man, and I will observe Your precepts.
Make Your face to shine upon Your servant; and teach me Your statutes.
My eyes run down with rivers of water, because they observe not Your Torah.
Tzadi. A Tzadik are You, O יהוה , and upright are Your judgments.
You have commanded Your testimonies in righteousness and exceeding faithfulness.
My zeal has undone me, because my adversaries have forgotten Your D’varim.
Your word is tried to the uttermost, and Your servant loves it.
I am small and despised; yet have I not forgotten Your precepts.
Your tzedaka is an everlasting tzedaka, and Your Torah is truth.
Trouble and anguish have overtaken me; yet Your Mitzvot are my delight.
Your testimonies are righteous forever; give me understanding, and I shall live.
Kof. I have called with my whole heart; answer me, O יהוה ; I will keep Your statutes.
I have called You, save me, and I will observe Your testimonies.
I rose early at dawn, and cried; I hoped in Your D’var.
My eyes forestalled the night-watches, that I might meditate in Your word.
Hear my voice according unto Your compassion; quicken me, O יהוה , as You are wont.
They draw nigh that follow after wickedness; they are far from Your Torah.
You are nigh, O יהוה ; and all Your Mitzvot are truth.
Of old have I known from Your testimonies that You have founded them forever.
Resh. O see my affliction, and rescue me; for I do not forget Your Torah.
Plead my cause, and redeem me; quicken me according to Your word.
Yeshua[h] is far from the wicked; for they seek not Your statutes.
Great are Your compassions, O יהוה ; quicken me as You are wont.
Many are my persecutors and my adversaries; yet have I not turned aside from Your testimonies.
I beheld them that were faithless, and strove with them; because they observed not Your word.
O see how I love Your precepts; quicken me, O יהוה , according to Your compassion.
The beginning of Your D’var is truth; and all Your righteous ordinance endures forever.
Shin. Princes have persecuted me without a cause; but my heart stands in awe of Your D’varim.
I rejoice at Your word, as one that finds great spoil.
I hate and abhor falsehood; Your Torah do I love.
Seven times a day do I praise You, because of Your righteous ordinances.
Great shalom have they that love Your Torah; and there is no stumbling for them.
I have hoped for Your Yeshua[h], O יהוה , and have done Your Mitzvot.
My soul has observed Your testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.
I have observed Your precepts and Your testimonies; for all my ways are before You.
Tav. Let my cry come near before You, O יהוה ; give me understanding according to Your D’var.
Let my supplication come before You; deliver me according to Your word.
Let my lips utter praise: because You teach me Your statutes.
Let my tongue sing of Your word; for all Your Mitzvot are righteousness.
Let Your hand be ready to help me; for I have chosen Your precepts.
I have longed for Your Yeshua[h], O יהוה ; and Your Torah is my delight.
Let my soul live, and it shall praise You; and let Your ordinances help me.
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek Your servant; for I have not forgotten Your Mitzvot.
