1Shir HaMa’alot. They that trust in יהוה are as Har Tzion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
2As the mountains are round about Yerushalayim, so יהוה is round about His people, from this time forth and forever.
3For the rod of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the Tzadikim; that the Tzadikim put not forth their hands unto iniquity.
4Do good, O יהוה , unto the good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.
5But as for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, יהוה will lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Shalom be upon Yisra’el.
אשִׁיר הַמַּעֲלוֹת: הַבֹּטְחִים בַּיהוה כְּהַר צִיּוֹן לֹא יִמּוֹט לְעוֹלָם יֵשֵׁב.
ביְרוּשָׁלִַם הָרִים סָבִיב לָהּ: וַיהוה סָבִיב לְעַמּוֹ מֵעַתָּה וְעַד עוֹלָם.
גכִּי לֹא יָנוּחַ שֵׁבֶט הָרֶשַׁע עַל גּוֹרַל הַצַּדִּיקִים: לְמַעַן לֹא יִשְׁלְחוּ הַצַּדִּיקִים בְּעַוְלָתָה יְדֵיהֶם.
דהֵיטִיבָה יהוה לַטּוֹבִים; וְלִישָׁרִים בְּלִבּוֹתָם.
הוְהַמַּטִּים עֲקַלְקַלּוֹתָם יוֹלִיכֵם יהוה אֶת פֹּעֲלֵי הָאָוֶן: שָׁלוֹם עַל יִשְׂרָאֵל.
