1For the Leader. By David. The fool has said in his heart, “There is no Elohim”; they have dealt corruptly, they have done abominably; there is none that does good.
2 יהוה looked forth from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there was a man of understanding, that did seek after Elohim.
3They are all corrupt, they are together become impure; there is none that does good, no, not one.
4“Shall not all the workers of iniquity know it, who eat up My people as they eat bread, and call not upon יהוה ?”
5There are they in great fear; for Elohim is with the righteous generation.
6You would put to shame the counsel of the poor, but יהוה is his refuge.
7Oh that the Salvation of Yisra’el were come out of Tzion! When יהוה turns the captivity of His people, let Ya’akov rejoice, let Yisra’el be glad.
אלַמְנַצֵּחַ לְדָוִד: אָמַר נָבָל בְּלִבּוֹ אֵין אֱלֹהִים; הִשְׁחִיתוּ הִתְעִיבוּ עֲלִילָה אֵין עֹשֵׂה טוֹב.
ב יהוה מִשָּׁמַיִם הִשְׁקִיף עַל בְּנֵי אָדָם: לִרְאוֹת הֲיֵשׁ מַשְׂכִּיל דֹּרֵשׁ אֶת אֱלֹהִים.
גהַכֹּל סָר יַחְדָּו נֶאֱלָחוּ: אֵין עֹשֵׂה טוֹב אֵין גַּם אֶחָד.
דהֲלֹא יָדְעוּ כָּל פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן: אֹכְלֵי עַמִּי אָכְלוּ לֶחֶם; יהוה לֹא קָרָאוּ.
השָׁם פָּחֲדוּ פָחַד: כִּי אֱלֹהִים בְּדוֹר צַדִּיק.
ועֲצַת עָנִי תָבִישׁוּ: כִּי יהוה מַחְסֵהוּ.
זמִי יִתֵּן מִצִּיּוֹן יְשׁוּעַת יִשְׂרָאֵל: בְּשׁוּב יהוה שְׁבוּת עַמּוֹ; יָגֵל יַעֲקֹב יִשְׂמַח יִשְׂרָאֵל.
