Tehillah 147 – תהלה קמז – D'var יהוה , The Word of יהוה

¹Hallelu Yah; for it is good to sing praises unto our Elohim; for it is pleasant, and praise is comely.

² יהוה does build up Yerushalayim, He gathers together the dispersed of Yisra’el;

³Who heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.

⁴He counts the number of the stars; He gives them all their names.

⁵Great is our Adonai, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.

⁶ יהוה upholds the humble; He brings the wicked down to the ground.

⁷Sing unto יהוה with thanksgiving, sing praises upon the Kinor unto our Elohim;

⁸Who covers the heaven with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes the mountains to spring with grass.

⁹He gives to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.

¹⁰He delights not in the strength of the horse; He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.

¹¹ יהוה takes pleasure in them that fear Him, in those that wait for His compassion.

¹²Glorify יהוה , O Yerushalayim; praise your Elohim, O Tzion.

¹³For He has made strong the bars of your gates; He has blessed your children within you.

¹⁴He makes your borders shalom; He gives you in plenty the fat of wheat.

¹⁵He sends out His word upon earth; His D’var runs very swiftly.

¹⁶He gives snow like wool; He scatters the white frost like ashes.

¹⁷He casts forth His ice like crumbs; who can stand before His cold?

¹⁸He sends forth His D’var, and melts them; He causes His wind to blow, and the waters flow.

¹⁹He declares His D’var unto Ya’akov, His statutes and His ordinances unto Yisra’el.

²⁰He has not dealt so with any nation; and as for His ordinances, they have not known them. Hallelu Yah!

^אהַלְלוּ יה : כִּי טוֹב זַמְּרָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ כִּי נָעִים נָאוָה תְהִלָּה.

^בבּוֹנֵה יְרוּשָׁלִַם יהוה ; נִדְחֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יְכַנֵּס.

^גהָרֹפֵא לִשְׁבוּרֵי לֵב; וּמְחַבֵּשׁ לְעַצְּבוֹתָם.

^דמוֹנֶה מִסְפָּר לַכּוֹכָבִים; לְכֻלָּם שֵׁמוֹת יִקְרָא.

^הגָּדוֹל אֲדוֹנֵינוּ וְרַב כֹּחַ; לִתְבוּנָתוֹ אֵין מִסְפָּר.

^ומְעוֹדֵד עֲנָוִים יהוה ; מַשְׁפִּיל רְשָׁעִים עֲדֵי אָרֶץ.

^זעֱנוּ לַיהוה בְּתוֹדָה; זַמְּרוּ לֵאלֹהֵינוּ בְכִנּוֹר.

^חהַמְכַסֶּה שָׁמַיִם בְּעָבִים הַמֵּכִין לָאָרֶץ מָטָר; הַמַּצְמִיחַ הָרִים חָצִיר.

^טנוֹתֵן לִבְהֵמָה לַחְמָהּ; לִבְנֵי עֹרֵב אֲשֶׁר יִקְרָאוּ.

^ילֹא בִגְבוּרַת הַסּוּס יֶחְפָּץ; לֹא בְשׁוֹקֵי הָאִישׁ יִרְצֶה.

^יארוֹצֶה יהוה אֶת יְרֵאָיו אֶת הַמְיַחֲלִים לְחַסְדּוֹ.

^יבשַׁבְּחִי יְרוּשָׁלִַם אֶת יהוה ; הַלְלִי אֱלֹהַיִךְ צִיּוֹן.

^יגכִּי חִזַּק בְּרִיחֵי שְׁעָרָיִךְ; בֵּרַךְ בָּנַיִךְ בְּקִרְבֵּךְ.

^ידהַשָּׂם גְּבוּלֵךְ שָׁלוֹם; חֵלֶב חִטִּים יַשְׂבִּיעֵךְ.

^טוהַשֹּׁלֵחַ אִמְרָתוֹ אָרֶץ; עַד מְהֵרָה יָרוּץ דְּבָרוֹ.

^טזהַנֹּתֵן שֶׁלֶג כַּצָּמֶר; כְּפוֹר כָּאֵפֶר יְפַזֵּר.

^יזמַשְׁלִיךְ קַרְחוֹ כְפִתִּים; לִפְנֵי קָרָתוֹ מִי יַעֲמֹד.

^יחיִשְׁלַח דְּבָרוֹ וְיַמְסֵם; יַשֵּׁב רוּחוֹ יִזְּלוּ מָיִם.

^יטמַגִּיד דְּבָרָו לְיַעֲקֹב; חֻקָּיו וּמִשְׁפָּטָיו לְיִשְׂרָאֵל.

^כלֹא עָשָׂה כֵן לְכָל גּוֹי וּמִשְׁפָּטִים בַּל יְדָעוּם: הַלְלוּ יה !
