Tehillah 149 – תהלה קמט – D'var יהוה , The Word of יהוה

¹Hallelu Yah! Sing unto יהוה a new song, and His praise in the congregation of the Khasidim.

²Let Yisra’el rejoice in his Maker; let B’nei Tzion be joyful in their Melekh.

³Let them praise His Name in the dance; let them sing praises unto Him with the Tof and Kinor.

⁴For יהוה takes pleasure in His people; He adorns the humble with Yeshua[h].

⁵Let the Khasidim exult in glory; let them sing for joy upon their beds.

⁶Let the high praises of Elohim be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

⁷To execute vengeance upon the nations, and chastisements upon the peoples;

⁸To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

⁹To execute upon them the judgment written; He is the splendor of all His Khasidim. Hallelu Yah!

^אהַלְלוּ יה : שִׁירוּ לַיהוה שִׁיר חָדָשׁ; תְּהִלָּתוֹ בִּקְהַל חֲסִידִים.

^ביִשְׂמַח יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּעֹשָׂיו; בְּנֵי צִיּוֹן יָגִילוּ בְמַלְכָּם.

^גיְהַלְלוּ שְׁמוֹ בְמָחוֹל; בְּתֹף וְכִנּוֹר יְזַמְּרוּ לוֹ.

^דכִּי רוֹצֶה יהוה בְּעַמּוֹ; יְפָאֵר עֲנָוִים בִּישׁוּעָה.

^היַעְלְזוּ חֲסִידִים בְּכָבוֹד; יְרַנְּנוּ עַל מִשְׁכְּבוֹתָם.

^ורוֹמְמוֹת אֵל בִּגְרוֹנָם; וְחֶרֶב פִּיפִיּוֹת בְּיָדָם.

^זלַעֲשׂוֹת נְקָמָה בַּגּוֹיִם; תּוֹכֵחוֹת בַּלְאֻמִּים.

^חלֶאְסֹר מַלְכֵיהֶם בְּזִקִּים; וְנִכְבְּדֵיהֶם בְּכַבְלֵי בַרְזֶל.

^טלַעֲשׂוֹת בָּהֶם מִשְׁפָּט כָּתוּב הָדָר הוּא לְכָל חֲסִידָיו: הַלְלוּ יה !
