1Mikhtam of David. Keep me, O God; for I have taken refuge in You.
2I have said unto יהוה , “You are Adonai; I have no good but in You”;
3As for the K’doshim that are in the earth, they are the excellent in whom is all my delight.
4Let the idols of them be multiplied that make suit unto another; their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take their names upon my lips.
5O יהוה , the portion of my inheritance and of my cup, You maintain my lot.
6The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yes, I have a beautiful heritage.
7I will bless יהוה , who has given me counsel; yes, in the night seasons my reins instruct me.
8I have set יהוה always before me; surely He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
9Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also dwells in safety;
10For You will not abandon my soul to She’ol; neither will You suffer Your Khasid to see the pit.
11You make me to know the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, in Your right hand is bliss for evermore.
אמִכְתָּם לְדָוִד: שָׁמְרֵנִי אֵל כִּי חָסִיתִי בָךְ.
באָמַרְתְּ לַיהוה אֲדֹנָי אָתָּה; טוֹבָתִי בַּל עָלֶיךָ.
גלִקְדוֹשִׁים אֲשֶׁר בָּאָרֶץ הֵמָּה; וְאַדִּירֵי כָּל חֶפְצִי בָם.
דיִרְבּוּ עַצְּבוֹתָם אַחֵר מָהָרוּ: בַּל אַסִּיךְ נִסְכֵּיהֶם מִדָּם; וּבַל אֶשָּׂא אֶת שְׁמוֹתָם עַל שְׂפָתָי.
ה יהוה מְנָת חֶלְקִי וְכוֹסִי אַתָּה תּוֹמִיךְ גּוֹרָלִי.
וחֲבָלִים נָפְלוּ לִי בַּנְּעִמִים; אַף נַחֲלָת שָׁפְרָה עָלָי.
זאֲבָרֵךְ אֶת יהוה אֲשֶׁר יְעָצָנִי; אַף לֵילוֹת יִסְּרוּנִי כִלְיוֹתָי.
חשִׁוִּיתִי יהוה לְנֶגְדִּי תָמִיד: כִּי מִימִינִי בַּל אֶמּוֹט.
טלָכֵן שָׂמַח לִבִּי וַיָּגֶל כְּבוֹדִי; אַף בְּשָׂרִי יִשְׁכֹּן לָבֶטַח.
יכִּי לֹא תַעֲזֹב נַפְשִׁי לִשְׁאוֹל; לֹא תִתֵּן חֲסִידְךָ לִרְאוֹת שָׁחַת.
יאתּוֹדִיעֵנִי אֹרַח חַיִּים: שֹׂבַע שְׂמָחוֹת אֶת פָּנֶיךָ; נְעִמוֹת בִּימִינְךָ נֶצַח.
