1Why do the nations rage? And the peoples plot in vain?
2The kings of the earth revolt, and the rulers take counsel together, against יהוה , and against His Mashi’akh!
3“Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.”
4He that sits in heaven will laugh, Adonai has them in derision.
5Then will He speak unto them in His wrath, and frighten them in His sore displeasure:
6“Truly it is I that have established My Melekh upon Tzion, My Har Kodesh.
7I will tell of the decree: יהוה said unto me, “You are My son, this day have I begotten you.
8Ask of Me, and I will give the nations for your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for your possession.
9You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”
10Now therefore, O you kings, be wise; be admonished, you judges of the earth.
11Serve יהוה with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when suddenly His wrath is kindled. Happy are all they that take refuge in Him.
אלָמָּה רָגְשׁוּ גוֹיִם; וּלְאֻמִּים יֶהְגּוּ רִיק.
ביִתְיַצְּבוּ מַלְכֵי אֶרֶץ וְרוֹזְנִים נוֹסְדוּ יָחַד עַל יהוה וְעַל מְשִׁיחוֹ.
גנְנַתְּקָה אֶת מוֹסְרוֹתֵימוֹ; וְנַשְׁלִיכָה מִמֶּנּוּ עֲבֹתֵימוֹ.
דיוֹשֵׁב בַּשָּׁמַיִם יִשְׂחָק: אֲדֹנָי יִלְעַג לָמוֹ.
האָז יְדַבֵּר אֵלֵימוֹ בְאַפּוֹ; וּבַחֲרוֹנוֹ יְבַהֲלֵמוֹ.
ווַאֲנִי נָסַכְתִּי מַלְכִּי: עַל צִיּוֹן הַר קָדְשִׁי.
זאֲסַפְּרָה אֶל חֹק: יהוה אָמַר אֵלַי בְּנִי אַתָּה אֲנִי הַיּוֹם יְלִדְתִּיךָ.
חשְׁאַל מִמֶּנִּי וְאֶתְּנָה גוֹיִם נַחֲלָתֶךָ; וַאֲחֻזָּתְךָ אַפְסֵי אָרֶץ.
טתְּרֹעֵם בְּשֵׁבֶט בַּרְזֶל: כִּכְלִי יוֹצֵר תְּנַפְּצֵם.
יוְעַתָּה מְלָכִים הַשְׂכִּילוּ; הִוָּסְרוּ שֹׁפְטֵי אָרֶץ.
יאעִבְדוּ אֶת יהוה בְּיִרְאָה; וְגִילוּ בִּרְעָדָה.
יבנַשְּׁקוּ בַר פֶּן יֶאֱנַף וְתֹאבְדוּ דֶרֶךְ כִּי יִבְעַר כִּמְעַט אַפּוֹ: אַשְׁרֵי כָּל חוֹסֵי בוֹ.
