Tehillah 20 – תהלה כ – D'var יהוה , The Word of יהוה

¹For the Leader. A Mizmor of David.

²May יהוה answer you in the day of trouble. May the Name of the Elohim of Ya’akov set you up on high;

³May He send forth your help from the Mikdash, and support you out of Tzion;

⁴May He receive the memorial of all your Minkhot, and accept the fat of your Olah; Selah.

⁵May He grant you according to your own heart, and fulfill all your counsel.

⁶We will shout for joy in your victory, and in the Name of our Elohim we will set up our standards; may יהוה fulfill all your petitions.

⁷Now I know that יהוה saves His Mashi’akh; He will answer him from His consecrated heaven with the mighty acts of His saving right hand.

⁸Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will make mention of the Name of יהוה our Elohim.

⁹They are bowed down and fallen; but we are risen, and stand upright.

¹⁰Save, O יהוה ! Let HaMelekh answer us in the day that we call.

^אלַמְנַצֵּחַ מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד.

^ביַעַנְךָ יהוה בְּיוֹם צָרָה; יְשַׂגֶּבְךָ שֵׁם אֱלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב.

^גיִשְׁלַח עֶזְרְךָ מִקֹּדֶשׁ; וּמִצִּיּוֹן יִסְעָדֶךָּ.

^דיִזְכֹּר כָּל מִנְחֹתֶךָ; וְעוֹלָתְךָ יְדַשְּׁנֶה סֶלָה.

^היִתֶּן לְךָ כִלְבָבֶךָ; וְכָל עֲצָתְךָ יְמַלֵּא.

^ונְרַנְּנָה בִּישׁוּעָתֶךָ וּבְשֵׁם אֱלֹהֵינוּ נִדְגֹּל; יְמַלֵּא יהוה כָּל מִשְׁאֲלוֹתֶיךָ.

^זעַתָּה יָדַעְתִּי כִּי הוֹשִׁיעַ יהוה מְשִׁיחוֹ: יַעֲנֵהוּ מִשְּׁמֵי קָדְשׁוֹ בִּגְבֻרוֹת יֵשַׁע יְמִינוֹ.

^חאֵלֶּה בָרֶכֶב וְאֵלֶּה בַסּוּסִים; וַאֲנַחְנוּ בְּשֵׁם יהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ נַזְכִּיר.

^טהֵמָּה כָּרְעוּ וְנָפָלוּ; וַאֲנַחְנוּ קַּמְנוּ וַנִּתְעוֹדָד.

^י יהוה הוֹשִׁיעָה: הַמֶּלֶךְ יַעֲנֵנוּ בְיוֹם קָרְאֵנוּ.
