1By David; when he changed his demeanor before Avimelekh, who drove him away, and he departed.
2I will bless יהוה at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
3My soul shall glory in יהוה ; the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
4O magnify יהוה with me, and let us exalt His Name together.
5I sought יהוה , and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.
6They looked unto Him, and were radiant; and their faces shall never be abashed.
7This poor man cried, and יהוה heard, and saved him out of all his troubles.
8Malakh יהוה encamps round about them that fear Him, and delivers them.
9O taste and see that יהוה is good; happy is the man that takes refuge in Him.
10O fear יהוה , you His K’doshim; for there is no want to them that fear Him.
11The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger; but they that seek יהוה want not any good thing.
12Come, you children, hearken unto me; I will teach you the fear of יהוה .
13Who is the man that desires life, and loves days, that he may see good therein?
14Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile.
15Depart from evil, and do good; seek shalom, and pursue it.
16The eyes of יהוה are toward the Tzadikim, and His ears are open unto their cry.
17The face of יהוה is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
18They cried, and יהוה heard, and delivered them out of all their troubles.
19 יהוה is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, and saves such as are of a contrite spirit.
20Many are the adversities of a Tzadik, but יהוה delivers him out of them all.
21He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.
22Evil shall kill the wicked; and they that hate a Tzadik shall be held guilty.
23 יהוה redeems the soul of His servants; and none of them that take refuge in Him shall be held guilty.
אלְדָוִד בְּשַׁנּוֹתוֹ אֶת טַעְמוֹ לִפְנֵי אֲבִימֶלֶךְ; וַיְגָרְשֵׁהוּ וַיֵּלַךְ.
באֲבָרְכָה אֶת יהוה בְּכָל עֵת; תָּמִיד תְּהִלָּתוֹ בְּפִי.
גבַּיהוָה תִּתְהַלֵּל נַפְשִׁי; יִשְׁמְעוּ עֲנָוִים וְיִשְׂמָחוּ.
דגַּדְּלוּ לַיהוה אִתִּי; וּנְרוֹמְמָה שְׁמוֹ יַחְדָּו.
הדָּרַשְׁתִּי אֶת יהוה וְעָנָנִי; וּמִכָּל מְגוּרוֹתַי הִצִּילָנִי.
והִבִּיטוּ אֵלָיו וְנָהָרוּ; וּפְנֵיהֶם אַל יֶחְפָּרוּ.
זזֶה עָנִי קָרָא וַיהוה שָׁמֵעַ; וּמִכָּל צָרוֹתָיו הוֹשִׁיעוֹ.
חחֹנֶה מַלְאַךְ יהוה סָבִיב לִירֵאָיו; וַיְחַלְּצֵם.
טטַעֲמוּ וּרְאוּ כִּי טוֹב יהוה ; אַשְׁרֵי הַגֶּבֶר יֶחֱסֶה בּוֹ.
ייְראוּ אֶת יהוה קְדֹשָׁיו: כִּי אֵין מַחְסוֹר לִירֵאָיו.
יאכְּפִירִים רָשׁוּ וְרָעֵבוּ; וְדֹרְשֵׁי יהוה לֹא יַחְסְרוּ כָל טוֹב.
יבלְכוּ בָנִים שִׁמְעוּ לִי; יִרְאַת יהוה אֲלַמֶּדְכֶם.
יגמִי הָאִישׁ הֶחָפֵץ חַיִּים; אֹהֵב יָמִים לִרְאוֹת טוֹב.
ידנְצֹר לְשׁוֹנְךָ מֵרָע; וּשְׂפָתֶיךָ מִדַּבֵּר מִרְמָה.
טוסוּר מֵרָע וַעֲשֵׂה טוֹב; בַּקֵּשׁ שָׁלוֹם וְרָדְפֵהוּ.
טזעֵינֵי יהוה אֶל צַדִּיקִים; וְאָזְנָיו אֶל שַׁוְעָתָם.
יזפְּנֵי יהוה בְּעֹשֵׂי רָע; לְהַכְרִית מֵאֶרֶץ זִכְרָם.
יחצָעֲקוּ וַיהוה שָׁמֵעַ; וּמִכָּל צָרוֹתָם הִצִּילָם.
יטקָרוֹב יהוה לְנִשְׁבְּרֵי לֵב; וְאֶת דַּכְּאֵי רוּחַ יוֹשִׁיעַ.
כרַבּוֹת רָעוֹת צַדִּיק; וּמִכֻּלָּם יַצִּילֶנּוּ יהוה .
כאשֹׁמֵר כָּל עַצְמוֹתָיו; אַחַת מֵהֵנָּה לֹא נִשְׁבָּרָה.
כבתְּמוֹתֵת רָשָׁע רָעָה; וְשֹׂנְאֵי צַדִּיק יֶאְשָׁמוּ.
כגפֹּדֶה יהוה נֶפֶשׁ עֲבָדָיו; וְלֹא יֶאְשְׁמוּ כָּל הַחֹסִים בּוֹ.
