1For the Leader. By David, the servant of יהוה .
2Transgression speaks to the wicked; in the depth of my heart, there is no fear of Elohim before his eyes.
3For it flatters him in his eyes, until his iniquity is found, and he is hated.
4The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit; he has left off to be wise, to do good.
5He devises iniquity upon his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he abhors not evil.
6Your compassion, O יהוה , is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches unto the skies.
7Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains; Your judgments are like the great deep; man and beast You preserve, O
8How precious is Your compassion, O Elohim! and the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.
9They are abundantly satisfied with the abundance of Your House; and You make them drink of the river of Your pleasures.
10For with You is the fountain of Khayim; in Your light do we see light.
11O continue Your compassion unto them that know You; and Your tzedaka to the upright in heart.
12Let not the foot of pride overtake me, and let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.
13There are the workers of iniquity fallen; they are thrust down, and are not able to rise.
