1For the Leader; upon Shoshannim; for the sons of Korakh. A Maskil. A Song of loves.
2My heart overflows with a goodly matter; I say, “My work is concerning a Melekh”; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
3You are fairer than the children of men; grace is poured upon your lips; therefore Elohim has blessed you forever.
4Gird your sword upon your thigh, O mighty one, your glory and your majesty.
5And in your majesty prosper, ride on, in behalf of truth and meekness and righteousness; and let your right hand teach you tremendous things.
6Your arrows are sharp; the peoples fall under you; [they sink] into the heart of the enemies of HaMelekh.
7Your throne given of Elohim is forever and ever; a scepter of equity is the scepter of your Malkhut.
8You have loved righteousness, and hated wickedness; therefore Elohim, your Elohim, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.
9Myrrh, and aloes, and cassia are all your garments; out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made you glad.
10Kings’ daughters are among your favorites; at your right hand does stand the queen in gold of Ofir.
11“Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline your ear; forget also your own people, and your father’s house;
12So shall HaMelekh desire your beauty; for he is your Adonai; and do homage unto him.
13And, O daughter of Tzor, the richest of the people shall entreat your favor with a gift.”
14All glorious is the daughter of HaMelekh within the palace; her raiment is of chequer work inwrought with gold.
15She shall be led unto HaMelekh on richly woven stuff; the virgins, her companions in her train, being brought unto you.
16They shall be led with gladness and rejoicing; they shall enter into the palace of HaMelekh.
17Instead of your fathers shall be your sons, whom you shall make princes in all the land.
18I will make your name to be remembered in all generations; therefore shall the peoples praise you forever and ever.
אלַמְנַצֵּחַ עַל שֹׁשַׁנִּים לִבְנֵי קֹרַח; מַשְׂכִּיל שִׁיר יְדִידֹת.
ברָחַשׁ לִבִּי דָּבָר טוֹב אֹמֵר אָנִי מַעֲשַׂי לְמֶלֶךְ; לְשׁוֹנִי עֵט סוֹפֵר מָהִיר.
גיָפְיָפִיתָ מִבְּנֵי אָדָם הוּצַק חֵן בְּשִׂפְתוֹתֶיךָ; עַל כֵּן בֵּרַכְךָ אֱלֹהִים לְעוֹלָם.
דחֲגוֹר חַרְבְּךָ עַל יָרֵךְ גִּבּוֹר הוֹדְךָ וַהֲדָרֶךָ.
הוַהֲדָרְךָ צְלַח רְכַב עַל דְּבַר אֱמֶת וְעַנְוָה צֶדֶק; וְתוֹרְךָ נוֹרָאוֹת יְמִינֶךָ.
וחִצֶּיךָ שְׁנוּנִים: עַמִּים תַּחְתֶּיךָ יִפְּלוּ; בְּלֵב אוֹיְבֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ.
זכִּסְאֲךָ אֱלֹהִים עוֹלָם וָעֶד; שֵׁבֶט מִישֹׁר שֵׁבֶט מַלְכוּתֶךָ.
חאָהַבְתָּ צֶּדֶק וַתִּשְׂנָא רֶשַׁע: עַל כֵּן מְשָׁחֲךָ אֱלֹהִים אֱלֹהֶיךָ שֶׁמֶן שָׂשׂוֹן מֵחֲבֵרֶךָ.
טמֹר וַאֲהָלוֹת קְצִיעוֹת כָּל בִּגְדֹתֶיךָ; מִן הֵיכְלֵי שֵׁן מִנִּי שִׂמְּחוּךָ.
יבְּנוֹת מְלָכִים בְּיִקְּרוֹתֶיךָ; נִצְּבָה שֵׁגַל לִימִינְךָ בְּכֶתֶם אוֹפִיר.
יאשִׁמְעִי בַת וּרְאִי וְהַטִּי אָזְנֵךְ; וְשִׁכְחִי עַמֵּךְ וּבֵית אָבִיךְ.
יבוְיִתְאָו הַמֶּלֶךְ יָפְיֵךְ: כִּי הוּא אֲדֹנַיִךְ וְהִשְׁתַּחֲוִי לוֹ.
יגוּבַת צֹר: בְּמִנְחָה פָּנַיִךְ יְחַלּוּ עֲשִׁירֵי עָם.
ידכָּל כְּבוּדָּה בַת מֶלֶךְ פְּנִימָה; מִמִּשְׁבְּצוֹת זָהָב לְבוּשָׁהּ.
טולִרְקָמוֹת תּוּבַל לַמֶּלֶךְ: בְּתוּלוֹת אַחֲרֶיהָ רֵעוֹתֶיהָ מוּבָאוֹת לָךְ.
טזתּוּבַלְנָה בִּשְׂמָחֹת וָגִיל; תְּבֹאֶינָה בְּהֵיכַל מֶלֶךְ.
יזתַּחַת אֲבֹתֶיךָ יִהְיוּ בָנֶיךָ; תְּשִׁיתֵמוֹ לְשָׂרִים בְּכָל הָאָרֶץ.
יחאַזְכִּירָה שִׁמְךָ בְּכָל דֹּר וָדֹר; עַל כֵּן עַמִּים יְהוֹדוּךָ לְעֹלָם וָעֶד.
