Tehillah 76 – תהלה עו – D'var יהוה , The Word of יהוה

¹For the Leader; with string-music. A Mizmor of Asaf, a Song.

²In Yehudah is Elohim known; His Name is great in Yisra’el.

³In Shalem also is set His Sukka, and His dwelling-place in Tzion.

⁴There He broke the fiery shafts of the bow; the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.

⁵Glorious are You and excellent, coming down from the mountains of prey.

⁶The stout-hearted are bereft of sense, they sleep their sleep; and none of the men of might have found their hands.

⁷At Your rebuke, O Elohim of Ya’akov, they are cast into a dead sleep, the riders also, and the horses.

⁸You, even You, are awesome; and who may stand in Your sight when once You are angry?

⁹You did cause sentence to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,

¹⁰When Elohim arose to judgment, to save all the humble of the earth. Selah.

¹¹Surely the wrath of man shall praise You; the residue of wrath shall You gird upon You.

¹²Vow, and pay unto יהוה your Elohim; let all that are round about Him bring gifts unto Him that is to be feared;

¹³He cuts off the spirit of princes; He strikes awe in the kings of the earth.

^אלַמְנַצֵּחַ בִּנְגִינֹת; מִזְמוֹר לְאָסָף שִׁיר.

^בנוֹדָע בִּיהוּדָה אֱלֹהִים; בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל גָּדוֹל שְׁמוֹ.

^גוַיְהִי בְשָׁלֵם סוּכּוֹ; וּמְעוֹנָתוֹ בְצִיּוֹן.

^דשָׁמָּה שִׁבַּר רִשְׁפֵי קָשֶׁת; מָגֵן וְחֶרֶב וּמִלְחָמָה סֶלָה.

^הנָאוֹר אַתָּה אַדִּיר מֵהַרְרֵי טָרֶף.

^ואֶשְׁתּוֹלְלוּ אַבִּירֵי לֵב נָמוּ שְׁנָתָם; וְלֹא מָצְאוּ כָל אַנְשֵׁי חַיִל יְדֵיהֶם.

^זמִגַּעֲרָתְךָ אֱלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב; נִרְדָּם וְרֶכֶב וָסוּס.

^חאַתָּה נוֹרָא אַתָּה וּמִי יַעֲמֹד לְפָנֶיךָ; מֵאָז אַפֶּךָ.

^טמִשָּׁמַיִם הִשְׁמַעְתָּ דִּין; אֶרֶץ יָרְאָה וְשָׁקָטָה.

^יבְּקוּם לַמִּשְׁפָּט אֱלֹהִים לְהוֹשִׁיעַ כָּל עַנְוֵי אֶרֶץ סֶלָה.

^יאכִּי חֲמַת אָדָם תּוֹדֶךָּ; שְׁאֵרִית חֵמֹת תַּחְגֹּר.

^יבנִדְרוּ וְשַׁלְּמוּ לַיהוה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם: כָּל סְבִיבָיו יֹבִילוּ שַׁי לַמּוֹרָא.

^יגיִבְצֹר רוּחַ נְגִידִים; נוֹרָא לְמַלְכֵי אָרֶץ.
