Tehillah 77 – תהלה עז

For the Leader; for Yedutun. A Mizmor of Asaf.

I will lift up my voice unto Elohim, and cry; I will lift up my voice unto Elohim, that He may give ear unto me.

In the day of my trouble I seek Adonai; with my hand uplifted, [my eye] streams in the night without ceasing; my soul refuses to be comforted.

When I think thereon, O Elohim, I must moan; when I muse thereon, my spirit faints. Selah.

You hold fast the lids of my eyes; I am troubled, and cannot speak.

I have pondered the days of old, the years of ancient times.

In the night I will call to remembrance my song; I will commune with my own heart; and my spirit makes diligent search:

“Will Adonai cast off forever? And will He be favorable no more?

Is His mercy clean gone forever? Is His promise come to an end for evermore?

Has Elohim forgotten to be gracious? Has He in anger shut up his mercies?” Selah.

And I say, “This is my weakness, that the right hand of Elyon could change.

I will make mention of the deeds of Yah; yes, I will remember Your wonders of old.

I will meditate also upon all Your work, and muse on Your doings.”

O Elohim, Your way is in HaKodesh; who is a great God like unto Elohim?

You are the Elohim that does wonders; You have made known Your strength among the peoples.

You have with Your arm redeemed Your people, B’nei Ya’akov and Yosef.  Selah.

The waters saw You, O Elohim; the waters saw You, they were in pain; the depths also trembled.

The clouds flooded forth waters; the skies sent out a sound; Your arrows also went abroad.

The voice of Your thunder was in the whirlwind; the lightnings lighted up the world; the earth trembled and shook.

Your way was in the sea, and Your path in the great waters, and Your footsteps were not known.

You did lead Your people like a flock, by the hand of Moshe and Aharon.
