1A Mizmor of Asaf. O Elohim, the heathen are come into Your inheritance; they have defiled Your Heikhal Kadosh; they have made Yerushalayim into heaps.
2They have given the dead bodies of Your servants to be food unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of Your Khasidim unto the beasts of the earth.
3They have shed their blood like water round about Yerushalayim, with none to bury them.
4We are become a taunt to our neighbors, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us.
5How long, O יהוה ? Will You be angry forever? How long will Your jealousy burn like fire?
6Pour out Your wrath upon the nations that know You not, and upon the kingdoms that call not upon Your Name.
7For they have devoured Ya’akov, and laid waste his habitation.
8Remember not against us the iniquities of our forefathers; let Your mercies speedily come to meet us; for we are brought very low.
9Help us, O Elohim of our Salvation, for the sake of the glory of Your Name; and deliver us, and forgive our sins, for Your Name’s sake.
10Why should the nations say, “Where is their Elohim?” Let the avenging of Your servants’ blood that is shed be made known among the nations in our sight.
11Let the groaning of the prisoner come before You; according to the greatness of Your power set free those that are mortals;
12And render unto our neighbors sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached You, O Adonai.
13So we that are Your people and the flock of Your pasture will give You thanks forever; we will tell of Your praise to all generations.
אמִזְמוֹר לְאָסָף: אֱלֹהִים בָּאוּ גוֹיִם בְּנַחֲלָתֶךָ טִמְּאוּ אֶת הֵיכַל קָדְשֶׁךָ; שָׂמוּ אֶת יְרוּשָׁלִַם לְעִיִּים.
בנָתְנוּ אֶת נִבְלַת עֲבָדֶיךָ מַאֲכָל לְעוֹף הַשָּׁמָיִם; בְּשַׂר חֲסִידֶיךָ לְחַיְתוֹ אָרֶץ.
גשָׁפְכוּ דָמָם כַּמַּיִם סְבִיבוֹת יְרוּשָׁלִָם; וְאֵין קוֹבֵר.
דהָיִינוּ חֶרְפָּה לִשְׁכֵנֵינוּ; לַעַג וָקֶלֶס לִסְבִיבוֹתֵינוּ.
העַד מָה יהוה תֶּאֱנַף לָנֶצַח; תִּבְעַר כְּמוֹ אֵשׁ קִנְאָתֶךָ.
ושְׁפֹךְ חֲמָתְךָ אֶל הַגּוֹיִם אֲשֶׁר לֹא יְדָעוּךָ: וְעַל מַמְלָכוֹת אֲשֶׁר בְּשִׁמְךָ לֹא קָרָאוּ.
זכִּי אָכַל אֶת יַעֲקֹב; וְאֶת נָוֵהוּ הֵשַׁמּוּ.
חאַל תִּזְכָּר לָנוּ עֲוֹנֹת רִאשֹׁנִים: מַהֵר יְקַדְּמוּנוּ רַחֲמֶיךָ כִּי דַלּוֹנוּ מְאֹד.
טעָזְרֵנוּ אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׁעֵנוּ עַל דְּבַר כְּבוֹד שְׁמֶךָ; וְהַצִּילֵנוּ וְכַפֵּר עַל חַטֹּאתֵינוּ לְמַעַן שְׁמֶךָ.
ילָמָּה יֹאמְרוּ הַגּוֹיִם אַיֵּה אֱלֹהֵיהֶם: יִוָּדַע בַּגֹּיִים לְעֵינֵינוּ; נִקְמַת דַּם עֲבָדֶיךָ הַשָּׁפוּךְ.
יאתָּבוֹא לְפָנֶיךָ אֶנְקַת אָסִיר: כְּגֹדֶל זְרוֹעֲךָ הוֹתֵר בְּנֵי תְמוּתָה.
יבוְהָשֵׁב לִשְׁכֵנֵינוּ שִׁבְעָתַיִם אֶל חֵיקָם; חֶרְפָּתָם אֲשֶׁר חֵרְפוּךָ אֲדֹנָי.
יגוַאֲנַחְנוּ עַמְּךָ וְצֹאן מַרְעִיתֶךָ נוֹדֶה לְּךָ לְעוֹלָם: לְדוֹר וָדֹר נְסַפֵּר תְּהִלָּתֶךָ.
