Tehillah 9 – תהלה ט – D'var יהוה , The Word of יהוה

¹For the Leader; upon Mut Laben. A Mizmor of David.

²I will give thanks unto יהוה with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works.

³I will be glad and exult in You; I will sing praise to Your Name, O Elyon:

⁴When my enemies are turned back, they stumble and perish at Your presence;

⁵For You have maintained my right and my cause; You sat upon the throne as the righteous Judge.

⁶You have rebuked the nations, You have destroyed the wicked, You have blotted out their name forever and ever.

⁷O you enemy, the waste places are come to an end forever; and the cities which you did uproot, their very memorial is perished.

⁸But יהוה is enthroned forever; He has established His throne for judgment.

⁹And He will judge the world in righteousness, He will minister judgment to the peoples with equity.

¹⁰ יהוה also will be a high tower for the oppressed, a high tower in times of trouble;

¹¹And they that know Your Name will put their trust in You; for You, יהוה , have not forsaken them that seek You.

¹²Sing praises to יהוה , who dwells in Tzion; declare among the peoples His doings.

¹³For He that avenges blood has remembered them; He has not forgotten the cry of the humble.

¹⁴Be gracious unto me, O יהוה , behold my affliction at the hands of them that hate me; You that lift me up from the gates of Mavet;

¹⁵That I may tell of all Your praise in the gates of the daughter of Tzion, that I may rejoice in Your Salvation.

¹⁶The nations are sunk down in the pit that they made; in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

¹⁷ יהוה has made Himself known, He has executed judgment, the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higayon. Selah.

¹⁸The wicked shall return to She’ol, even all the nations that forget Elohim.

¹⁹For the needy shall not always be forgotten, nor the expectation of the poor perish forever.

²⁰Arise, O יהוה , let not man prevail; let the nations be judged in Your sight.

²¹Set terror over them, O יהוה ; let the nations know they are but men. Selah.

^אלַמְנַצֵּחַ עַל מוּת לַבֵּן; מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד.

^באוֹדֶה יהוה בְּכָל לִבִּי; אֲסַפְּרָה כָּל נִפְלְאוֹתֶיךָ.

^גאֶשְׂמְחָה וְאֶעֶלְצָה בָךְ; אֲזַמְּרָה שִׁמְךָ עֶלְיוֹן.

^דבְּשׁוּב אוֹיְבַי אָחוֹר; יִכָּשְׁלוּ וְיֹאבְדוּ מִפָּנֶיךָ.

^הכִּי עָשִׂיתָ מִשְׁפָּטִי וְדִינִי; יָשַׁבְתָּ לְכִסֵּא שׁוֹפֵט צֶדֶק.

^וגָּעַרְתָּ גוֹיִם אִבַּדְתָּ רָשָׁע; שְׁמָם מָחִיתָ לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד.

^זהָאוֹיֵב תַּמּוּ חֳרָבוֹת לָנֶצַח; וְעָרִים נָתַשְׁתָּ אָבַד זִכְרָם הֵמָּה.

^חוַיהוה לְעוֹלָם יֵשֵׁב; כּוֹנֵן לַמִּשְׁפָּט כִּסְאוֹ.

^טוְהוּא יִשְׁפֹּט תֵּבֵל בְּצֶדֶק; יָדִין לְאֻמִּים בְּמֵישָׁרִים.

^יוִיהִי יהוה מִשְׂגָּב לַדָּךְ; מִשְׂגָּב לְעִתּוֹת בַּצָּרָה.

^יאוְיִבְטְחוּ בְךָ יוֹדְעֵי שְׁמֶךָ: כִּי לֹא עָזַבְתָּ דֹרְשֶׁיךָ יהוה .

^יבזַמְּרוּ לַיהוה יֹשֵׁב צִיּוֹן; הַגִּידוּ בָעַמִּים עֲלִילוֹתָיו.

^יגכִּי דֹרֵשׁ דָּמִים אוֹתָם זָכָר; לֹא שָׁכַח צַעֲקַת עניים (עֲנָוִים).

^ידחָנְנֵנִי יהוה רְאֵה עָנְיִי מִשֹּׂנְאָי; מְרוֹמְמִי מִשַּׁעֲרֵי מָוֶת.

^טולְמַעַן אֲסַפְּרָה כָּל תְּהִלָּתֶיךָ: בְּשַׁעֲרֵי בַת צִיּוֹן אָגִילָה בִּישׁוּעָתֶךָ.

^טזטָבְעוּ גוֹיִם בְּשַׁחַת עָשׂוּ; בְּרֶשֶׁת זוּ טָמָנוּ נִלְכְּדָה רַגְלָם.

^יזנוֹדַע יהוה מִשְׁפָּט עָשָׂה: בְּפֹעַל כַּפָּיו נוֹקֵשׁ רָשָׁע; הִגָּיוֹן סֶלָה.

^יחיָשׁוּבוּ רְשָׁעִים לִשְׁאוֹלָה: כָּל גּוֹיִם שְׁכֵחֵי אֱלֹהִים.

^יטכִּי לֹא לָנֶצַח יִשָּׁכַח אֶבְיוֹן; תִּקְוַת ענוים (עֲנִיִּים) תֹּאבַד לָעַד.

^כקוּמָה יהוה אַל יָעֹז אֱנוֹשׁ; יִשָּׁפְטוּ גוֹיִם עַל פָּנֶיךָ.

^כאשִׁיתָה יהוה מוֹרָה לָהֶם: יֵדְעוּ גוֹיִם אֱנוֹשׁ הֵמָּה סֶּלָה.
