Timoteus Bet 1 – איגרת שאול השניה אל טימותיאוס א

t.o.c.

1Pavlos, a Shali’akh of Yeshua HaMashi’akh by the will of Elohim, and by the promise of life which is in Yeshua HaMashi’akh, 2to Timoteus, the dearly beloved son: compassion, mercy, and shalom from Elohim HaAv, and Yeshua HaMashi’akh Adoneinu.  3I thank Elohim, whom I have served from the fathers with a pure conscience, that I have always remembered you in my prayers night and day.  4I am anxious to see you, and I still remember your tears; I am filled with joy, 5especially when I am reminded of your true, absolute trust, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice, and I am sure now in you also.

6For this reason I remind you to stir up the gift of Elohim which is in you by smikha from my hands.  7For Elohim has not given us the spirit of terror, but of power, and of love, and of good discipline.  8Be not, therefore, ashamed of the testimony of Adoneinu, nor of me His prisoner; but bear the hardships that go along with the declaration of HaB’sorah through the power of Elohim, 9who has saved us and called us with a consecrated calling, not according to our works, but according to His own will and His compassion, which was given us in Yeshua HaMashi’akh before the world began, 10and is now made manifest by the appearing of Moshi’einu, Yeshua HaMashi’akh, who has abolished Mavet, and has revealed Khayim and immortality through HaB’sorah, 11to which I am appointed a Karoz, and a Shali’akh, and a teacher of the Goyim.  12For this cause I suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed; for I know in whom I have believed, and I trust that His hand is able to protect me until that Day.  13Let this example of sound words which you have heard from me abide with you in HaEmunah and love which is in Yeshua HaMashi’akh.  14That good thing which was committed to you, keep, by the help of The Ru’akh HaKodesh which dwells in us.

15This you know, that all those in Asia have turned away from me, of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.  16Let Adoneinu grant mercy to the house of Onesiphorus; for he has often refreshed me, and he was not ashamed of the chains of my imprisonment; 17but when he was in Rome, he searched for me diligently and found me.  18Let Adoneinu grant to him that he may find mercy in heaven, where Adoneinu is, in that Day; and of how he ministered to me at Efesos, you know very well.
